If you want general household supplies (light bulbs, etc.), they'll have it. If you need to get your bike repaired, they can do that. If need keys cuts, they've got you. All in all they're great for all purpose hardware needs. Prices are reasonable across the board. Selection of basic items (screws, brushes, etc.) is better actually than a lot of other stores for practical purposes, and they can accurately advise you on actually performing basic tasks unlike most places. I highly recommend them over the place up the block. Don't let the rough exterior give you pause; these guys will treat you right.

When the person came for installation, the top lock seemed to stick somewhat badly, making it difficult to turn and lock/unlock, whereas the original lock had aligned quite well. He asked me for some WD-40, which I fortunately had, and applied that and insisted it'd be fine within a day or so. After several days...it still wasn't. I had paid cash per request and was a bit nervous, but was ultimately able to get them back out to adjust the lock so that it closed properly a few days later. The repair/reinstallation didn't take much time, and left me wondering a bit why it couldn't have been done properly the first time, but hey, ultimately they fixed it and it works fine now, so really no harm.
