So I think this place is under new ownership. Or at the very least the name changed. I got my hair cut there today by Jim and he did a really good job. Reasonable prices and good conversation. Seems like a family friendly place too. There was a young father with his son waiting in line behind me and Jim was able to call the kid by name and ask him how he's doing. Bad experience from the start. Google says they would be open at 9 am but when I arrived there via Dial A Ride at 9:15 am, I found out they open at 10 am. At 10 am when Dial A Ride came to pick me up, the owner still didn't show up. They didn't arrive until 10:05 am. When it was being loaded into the Dial A Ride van and the owner was finally unlocking the door. I told him that he had missed the opportunity of getting the business of three people who waited then decided to take off. The owner didn't seem to care much on his tardiness or his loss of revenue on three potential clients. read more

Dudes BEWARE!!! This is not a place for guys looking for a good fade. This is a salon disguised as barber shop. My haircut was so bad, I had to point out to the barber that my fade wasn't straight. She tried to fix it, but it was a lost cause. In the end, she admitted that she doesn't know how to do fades! This is not a place for guys. I would post a pic of my haircut, but I'm too embarrassed. I've been going here since 2004, Miva's my gal she's always there waiting. I've only had to wait 1 time for 5 minutes in the past three years for a chair. Ilya is the nicest guy and his place is always clean and professional. I use to go to supercuts or the other chain places only to see 10 salon chairs with only two people working and 5 waiting. I don't have 45 minutes to wait for a 10 minute haircut. At Ilya's it's in and out, and they also give the complimentary headed head wrap and quick massage, all for $13.00 bucks. Since I moved here in 2009, I've got my hair cut here without any troubles. I now live 30 miles away and still make it a point to get my hair cut here. Walk-ins seem to be preferred here and no one typically waits longer than 10min. Highly recommend if you're like me and enjoy hair cuts. read more

I've been going here the past 5 years. Never had any problem with the staff. They've always been very friendly. Ilya doesn't smile a whole lot but he does make you feel welcome and appreciates your business. I welcome the fact he'll actually talk to you while he cuts your hair. Having a mute barber is uncomfortable. At first the cuts were great but it just seemed like with the amount of barbers that have come and gone the quality has kinda diminished. There is one other regular barber there that does a great job but I've forgot her name. She doesn't seem to work when I can make it in. With that I'll say I'm happy when I sit in llyas chair, it's like the days of 5 years ago. I could make an appt and make sure I always get him but when you don't have that luxury you tend to count on consistency. That seems to have dropped off. I'm hoping for a rebound! read more

Very soft spoken man and rarely cracks a smile, but he gives a great haircut and if you can get him to talk, you'll find a very sharp mind behind those scissors. I first went here in December 2002 and have been a loyal customer for nearly 10 years. I prefer Ilya himself but the others two ladies have been there a long time and certainly do a good job. You typically have to wait a bit but nothing extreme. They serve kids and adults equally well based on the customers I see when I am getting my cut. Very good value and very good service. I mainly want the haircut but the hot towel on your head and the massage machine at the end are a nice touch. Very good value for money at $13 with a $2 tip.
