However, I took my car "that I've always taken to the dealer for an oil change" here. And the next day it was leaking oil everywhere. Unfortunately, I wasn't in town to bring it right away, and had to bring it back to the shop about 2 weeks later . (Still leaking btw) they said it was the "gasKeT" and I would have to pay another $48 to get this repaired. They said I should have brought it the day after i got the oil changed. Later after all the back and forth they offered to cover the costs for labor ,but I would have to pay for the part. Which was $3. I did not expect for them to charge me at all considering i had returned literally about 2 weeks later. (And called them over the phone twice to advise what was going on" They said i was "taking advantage" and told me god was watching. They said there was no way of knowing the part was damaged or defective . In my opinion they should have checked the gasket while doing the oil change . I ended up paying $10 which I didn't feel was fair but; at least they could pay off their $3 part they replaced. Next day after the lecture and "repair" ITS LEAKING AGAIN! haaaahahah now I have to go to the dealer and figure out what they broke on my car. I'm glad I didn't pay the $48 the second time around considering I came in with a car that was perfectly fine and left with a leaking car . THANK YOU LA TIRES AND AUTO BODY SHOP !!! :) I've spent $120 total for oil, filter, labor, a "gasket" and now I have a car with a bigger problem and NO OIL . DO NOT GO HERE !

Apparently Will retired and his son operates the shop now, but he still comes in to help out from time to time. The technicians were equally as friendly and upon removing the front wheels, noticed uneven wear on the treads and steel wires exposed on one of the inner tires. Due to the safety concern, I decided to replace all four tires and opted for an alignment to fix the uneven wear from before. They stock budget-friendly tire brands and have some more performance-focused brands as well. If they don't have what you want in stock, they can order it quickly. While the technicians and the alignment specialist, Rudy, were working on my vehicle, I was busy chatting with Will. There business has expanded and they opened up a full mechanic shop on the same block - "Sparky's." Will actually walked me over to show me the new shop. Once the new tires were on and the alignment complete, Rudy came over and explained what my original alignment measurements were and how they are now. It's clear from my visit today that Will and Rudy take pride in their work. I will definitely be coming back for my tires/wheels/suspension needs and will give their mechanic shop a try when I need work done.

I asked again, and he just walked away without saying anything. I wasn't expecting anything complicated, I just wanted to know which tire had been low. It was disappointing to be ignored, especially after asking twice. I've always had great service here, so this experience really stood out. Everyone has an off day, but a little communication goes a long way, and this interaction didn't reflect the level of customer service I've come to expect.

I luckily remembered to go to my trusty Yelp app and search for places that service Tesla tires. Davis Bros Tires was the first to pop up and so I sent them a message just looking to get a quote on their services. I was so surprised that they responded to me right away even though it was 9:30pm at night! I was so appreciative of their responsiveness to my questions and the fact that I could be serviced next day. So next day, I arrive at 7:30am and was greeted by a wonderful older gentleman that was at the front desk. He told me to pull my car in and that they would get to it right away. As I was waiting, I saw a few people come in and strike up conversations amongst each other. I overheard them say they only go here for their car needs and it definitely offered me some reassurance and peace of mind that I took my car to right place. After waiting for about an hour, my car tire was patched and ready to go. The gentlemen told me that it takes a bit longer to patch Tesla tires because they have foam in them. I had no idea and thanked him for the information. The price was great and I definitely will be back for anything my car needs. They are honest and sincere here and you can tell they aren't one of those places looking to rip anyone off. They have a wall of celebrities that have taken their cars there over the years and that goes to show that they take pride in their work. For some time now, I've been hearing very loud squeaking from my brakes, so I brought my car back to Davis Bros. I know some squeaking can be normal, but what I've been hearing sounded abnormal, and it was extremely loud. I felt the person who assisted me was really dismissive, but he had a mechanic check my brakes. I completely understand they are busy, and I had no issue waiting or leaving my car to come back later. About 10 minutes later, I was told my brakes were great; there was just dust and dirt they couldn't clean off. I responded, "Really? It seems so loud!" and he assured me everything was fine. Another customer in the waiting area called me "annoying," I guess because I was questioning their expertise. I have always trusted David Bros, but I knew something was not right. I took my car to another mechanic a few hours later, and it turns out that the shims were missing from the front pads. The shims were not missing before my brake service at Davis Bros in 2024. At the very least, they could have left the old shims in. I'm really disappointed the shop didn't fully replace the parts during my last brake service, and even more disappointed they didn't catch it when they rushed me out this week. Again, I understand they are busy, and my brakes may not be a big deal compared to all of the other services being provided that day, but this experience has completely turned me off from returning.

I always feel comfortable there and he takes great care of my vintage dinosaur. If it was any older it would have concrete wheels and you'd have to pedal with your bare feet hahaha! He has a lot of business so sometimes it's not the fastest but a lot of times when I'm working from home for days I don't mind since I'm not driving and I live around the corner. I think his prices are very reasonable for a mechanic at this level of quality and knowledge. They often find fixes for little mechanical things that are cheap and easy rather than making you order a whole super expensive part from the dealer. And most of all, he caught a gas leak I did not smell that basically could have killed me! My engine was basically a bomb waiting to go off. I stopped there for a flat tire and he caught that scary problem. So I'm a fan! Not today, Satan, not Today!! Tips: Call ahead and make an appointment well in advance if you can for maintenance stuff. Drop your car off super early. He's open for a half day on Saturdays which is helpful!

This is, by far, the worst experience I've had with any business…read more I came into this shop to get a new clutch installed (over $1K in labor) and within a week, noticed issues until the car became near undriveable. In accordance with shop warranty, I requested for the car to be inspected and was refused any guarantee that I wouldn't be charged for said inspection if the issue was an installation error. I was also told they'd have to begin the inspection prior to giving me an inspection price. As a result, I had the system inspected by the manufacturer and another shop which confirmed it was due to an installation error. K.T. Auto continued to deny responsibility, stating I should have taken it into the shop for inspection and they didn't remember me asking for one explicitly despite me doing so a week before. Overall, I had to buy a new part (also over $1K) and work with a new shop to get it fixed after nearly a month of not being able to drive. Still, they have denied any responsibility nor given any recourse. Awful experience overall and I would give a massive "beware" on this business.
