Food was amazing and atmosphere is top notch, if you're a night owl and get the munchies, this spot is for you! Great service and very nice owner!

been coming to One Pocha for years now, i have great memories here with my friends. KBBQ is always gonna be a bit pricey but worth it. It's delicious y'all, you gotta prepare yourself to eat so you get your moneys worth. The service could be a little better, the couple times we went, the servers can be a little neglectful when you need something or trying to call them over. The soju is overpriced unfortunately... None of the less, i will still always come back. The karaoke rooms are so fun too btw! Don't forget about that!

Okay, YUM! My sister took us to this Korean BBQ spot and I loved it! We all opted for the all-you-can basic option - but there was a premium option that came with three more meat options. First, the sides that come with everything were delicious; while I am not a huge kimchi fan, I did enjoy the radishes, potatoes, broccoli, and onions. Then, we were able to select up to three meats at a time - and they brought out HUGE portions. I honestly wish they were a bit smaller, so that we could try more of the other meat options (we were a bit scared off my the $20 "excessive leftover" charge listed on the menu). Everything also comes with rice, lettuce and a side salad. Overall, delicious, decently priced and attentive service!

Went in to order the yukgaeyang and tofu seafood stews and they were bland and there was no brisket found! They also claimed the yukgaeyang had brisket but there was nothing. Also ordered corn cheese and it was just mayo and cheese.. no flavor. Bad food is one thing but the service was bad. Waitresses got upset that we did not like the food. Also there was a basket with cabbage soaking on the floor in an open space right next to their restroom. Major health violations going on.. terrible!

Great AYCE BBQ joint. Not that big inside, as such we opted to hangout at the bar and down some soju while we waited for our table. It's dimly lit, I think it's that way to make the place appear intimate, and it is that way if your are focused on your own group and the cookery that was about to begin. We sat down, and our server asked us how we wanted to proceed - basic or premium! We were there to go big! She got us our side dishes, rice, waters, and kept the kimchi coming. The premium only allows for 2 galbi strips per person so keep that in mind if you were just going for the galbi. On this trip we tried the galbi, the baby octopus, and the sam-gyeop-sal (pork belly). It was all good, but I have had thicker pork belly strips. Also, I feel like you can get a bigger selection at other places (i.e. Two Pocha, etc.). That said we didn't stop ordering... and unlike the other Pocha place, I didn't feel like we were on the clock. Our sever was great...she kept the grill changes fluid, and kept checking in on us. We ordered a fantastic Yuk-gae-jang stew to mix things up. It was all good, but it took a minute to get out to us. The spicy pork bulgogi was good, and the brisket was a good meat to order if you want things to cook fast. I ate to my stomach's fill, and then some. Would I come back? If some friends are in the area are interested in AYCE Korean bbq, this place would rank in the top 5...especially since it's the closest. The shaky thing is because of its size, you might have to wait. If you don't mind the wait, they do have a bar and plenty of K-Pop. I've waited longer in the NCR. Definitely consider this spot...especially if you're in the mood for norebang...which they have next door. Pro tip: Be ready with your next order of meats so they can keep the meats coming. We went with a Yuk-gae-jang to keep us busy, but it didn't come out fast...just keep that in mind.

Im happy to see that there are a few Korean BBQ spots open up in San Antonio and I like that this spot is opened up really late. I picked up a friend around 9pm from the airport and took them here. We had a good time and it was fun, we got the basic unlimited KBBQ. The overall quality was okay. My favorite was the spicy chicken but which normally I don't order chicken. The sides were also just okay. The service was good they changed the grill a few times. It's really easy to spilt the bill as you have to get up and pay at the register.

    Ambient was not for me.

I would not recommend this place for Korean BBQ. I would speak highly of the customer service because they are a great staff. But the food and ambiance, No! Let me tell you why. Each person no matter how many in the party pays at least $28.00 plus each for just the regular meat products. Not much of a choice of meats. The condiments are just okay. The ambience reminds me of a karaoke style dive bar with a dark and sleazy feel. There are many other Korean BBQ that may cost more but also worth your experience.

If this was in Houston where I am from, it would probably be three stars but considering the limitations in San Antonio, I gave it a 4. We didn't get the AYCE option because my younger kids wanted to eat several other options, so we just did a-la-carte. Food is good enough it you are in San Antonio and really craving Korean BBQ. It is small and we did have to wait a little bit for a table. I looks like it can get poppin' on weekends since it has a bar and karaoke stage! So plan accordingly!

Good spot for karaoke, they only do 2 hour reservations on the weekends. You can order food and drinks in the room as well as in the restaurant. Location and service are so so but the food is good and the private rooms are so fun.

Great food, and ambiance. After you treat yourself to some bulgogi, they have the best karaoke rooms in town. Private party with friends or family, and a full bar. What more can you ask for?

We split the fried shrimp platter and the shrimp etouffee (with dirty rice instead of white rice). The food was delicious. We went around 4pm on a weekday, so it was practically empty, but the atmosphere and vibe inside was incredible. I loved the nautical theme. They were playing a lot of rap music which was funny since we saw elderly people eating there who probably thought that was odd. I assume the nighttime vibe is lively and much different. And the restroom was not the cleanest there, even with an empty restaurant. But other than that, I'd recommend everyone go visit and enjoy!

We selected the Mr Crabby boil - pretty standard, 1/2 lb king crab (2 legs) 1/2 snow crab legs (1 set of legs), 1 snow crab claw ( one set claw plus legs), 2 pieces of corn, 4 pieces of sausage, 4 small red potatoes. The crab was cooked fine, the claw meat was a little overcooked but the corn itself was soft / soggy and overcooked. The drinks weren't bad at all, a hurricane and a vodka soda. The server had the crab crackers in their back pocket, not what I would consider clean especially with a $100+ boil that I'm about use them on and the final bill was $180 after tax, before tip. If I would have known l that I'd be paying $100 per person to spilt a boil and one drink each, I would have gone to Smashing Crab, SAT Asian, a Pappadeaux and spent probably a good amount less. Very disappointed given the surprise price point: talk about sticker shock and an average dining experience.

It did have a good price for cocktails which was nice though! The espresso martini was great, however the beans were a bit chewy. I switched to an old fashioned made with Buffalo Trace and it was delicious though. Service was kinda spotty with my waiter disappearing quite a bit. Maybe they see a table with one diner and think they're not going to get a decent tip. I had to ask another server for something at one point which should never be the case. The food was good though. It was hard to decide and since I was on a budget with a work expense, I had to choose wisely and put the booze on a separate tab. The salad was good and fresh and their cajun French dressing was bad. I switched to ranch and was able to enjoy it. The Catfish dish was delicious and came with shrimp, lump crab and oysters. Nice portion size and I was mostly satisfied. The sauce was pretty good for being outside of Louisiana, but still not "authentic". Is anywhere outside of LA great though? Luckily, it was walking distance from my hotel so easy to get to from there. It's on a "frontal" road so you may be driving in circles if you venture here on your own. I'd probably see what else San Antonio has to offer if I return to the area though as it didn't blow me away.
