What becomes a problem is that the owner committed in writing to provide a refund, did not issue one and then did not respond to follow ups regarding the situation. When a vendor agrees to issue a refund and then does not do so, that is an issue with business practice and deserves a negative review. I followed up for two weeks after the refund was promised and never received a refund or a response. *** The customer service is upsetting at best. I agreed to the estimate and then verbally and in writing was told they were taking a credit card just to hold the event. I ran into an issue with the event less than 24 hours after agreeing to the estimate and called them right away. The owner did not respond even though he had been quick to immediately respond before. The rep told me she would follow up quickly and didn't. They charged me 2 grand, never told me that they were and never sent a receipt. They then told me they would issue a refund and did not. They are now refusing to answer calls or emails. I need a resolution and they seem uninterested in providing customer service. Do not use them.

Jess figured out early on that I am a bit of a control fanatic, and she was able to offer the exact amount of guidance, assistance, and advice that I wanted. Most importantly to me, she was very accessible. She is such a warm, intelligent, and generally awesome woman that I really enjoyed working with her. Also, she always responded to all of my texts, emails, and phone calls within a very short amount of time. I was never frustrated by her lack of responsiveness. Moreover, she always seemed really eager to discuss all of the minutiae that I brought to her attention. I really appreciated her willingness to contact my vendors to hammer out the final details, and, in the case of my photo booth company, to even negotiate a slightly better deal! I also found her artistic eye particularly invaluable in focusing my design concept of the wedding. She was always available to give an opinion or to offer suggestions about what was essential vs. nonessential and what would look good from a design standpoint. After MUCH discussion, we came up with an incredible design concept for the centerpieces that I was thrilled with. She also helped me with suggestions on how to incorporate the library theme of my wedding throughout the stationary, the escort card table, and throughout. She has an amazing eye for style. Where she really shines, however, is on the day of the wedding. She runs a tight wedding ship, and makes sure that things run on time as much as possible. With five bridesmaids, five groomsmen, and one adorable dog, this task was no small feat. My family and bridal party teased her for the 7 page master itinerary that she sent prior to the wedding. However, due to that itinerary, there were no last-minute calls about where to be (from the vendors or the bridal party), when to be there, or how things would go. It was brilliant. And it allowed everything to run smoothly. Because of Jessica, I was not stressed on the day of my wedding at all. I was completely confident that everything would work out beautifully. I knew that if anything came up that Jessica would take care of it and that confidence allowed me to enjoy my day.
