You have to hire a separate draping company, linen company, florist/design, and lighting company. Drish Couture Events introduced to me to Shaadi Creations and there was no looking back after meeting Sonal and Mayank. I had ideas and a budget and Sonal and Mayank were able to create a dream wedding within our budget! At our initial meeting, Drish and I had laid out some inspirations for the Grah Shanti and Wedding but the reception was where I was the most confused after searching through endless Pinterest boards. When I mentioned Vintage Glamour, Sonal totally got what I was going for and immediately started showing me pictures and looks of ideas that encapsulated glamorous vintage. The mandap I had a picture of was a double mandap that had to be constructed from scratch at the actual venue all the way in Kansas City. They not only recreated the look but enhanced it with pops of color, floral cuffs and amber lighting that created a soft romantic glow. From the Grah Shanti was jewel toned Sabyasachi inspired. From the Grah Shanti to the wedding to the reception, Shaadi Creations took my breath away by the beauty ambience and splendid environment they created. Each event was unique and gorgeous and beyond my greatest expectations. People have said they have never seen such a beautiful wedding in Kansas City and this is all because of their creative genius and architectural design. I cannot express to you how wonderful it was to not have a single concern about the decorations being completed on time. They went above and beyond in every aspect. From the first time meeting Nisar I knew that he would be a true delight to work with. His talent and vision was spot on to what we were looking for. We went with a elegant Parisian themed wedding reception with rich, swank colors, uplighting, floor to ceiling pipe and drape, crystal candelabras, gorgeous luxurious linens and much more! Shaadi Creations nailed ever aspect of this and beyond. With being a smaller wedding event planner myself, I never not trusted Nisar and his team...when I walked in that ballroom for the first time I was absolutely speechless. When guests walked into the room they were also speechless and felt like they were just warped into Paris for the wedding of the year. Words can not thank Nisar and his team for what they have done for my husband and I. We are forever grateful for their talent and hard work. There were gaps in the tiles that could have presented a trip and fall hazard to ladies in heels. I couldn't take that risk. So far, they do not want to give me any type of refund- full or partial. I originally rented a 20x30 tent from Rose Party Rentals, scheduled for delivery the next day. When…read morethe setup crew arrived, they told me I actually needed a framed tent because part of it would be over a patio. I was surprised as I had mentioned on the phone that the tent was partially covering a patio, and no concerns were raised. I understand if this was my mistake, but called right away to switch to a 20x20 tent that would fit entirely on the grass. I appreciate that I was only charged a $25 tent change fee, but I still had to pay the full price for the 20x30 tent, even though I was getting the smaller one. This was because the tent had been put as "unavailable" only 12 hours before. That was a $100 difference. On top of that, I was charged another delivery and setup fee, even though the original tent was never set up. I may have made a mistake here, but it feels like the situation was taken advantage of. The setup team was the best part of the whole experience.

There's tons of space for kids to run around, explore, and burn off energy without feeling crowded or chaotic. And if you need a little reset yourself, there's always a quiet corner waiting for you. Whether it's a walking path, a bench, or just a peaceful stretch of the gardens, it's one of those rare places where you can step away, clear your head, and just breathe for a while. Beautiful grounds, relaxing atmosphere, and something for everyone. I came for a walk and left feeling lighter. Cantigny really is a little escape hiding in plain sight.

Prospect Public Library held for spring break. That was very very well attended, with a long line of folks waiting to get in (and that's with all of us registered to attend!), but the show was a lot of fun. He did a little magic, a little comedy, and some fun balloon tricks. This guy has been doing this all his adult life--unless that's also a joke and part of his act--but regardless, he's great at his job. I'm looking forward to seeing him again and my little one having the chance to pick her balloon creation on her own.

We met Jamie at our venue's vendor expo and were immediately impressed by their services, pricing, and vast food offerings. It was a no brainer to book with their group! We had our tasting a couple months before our wedding day; which is complimentary to the couple and a $50 charge for any additional guest to join. They have you select 8-10 appetizers, 2 salads, and 4 entrees to taste at their Naperville location. They also have displays of china, silverware, glasses and more to help couples select what aligns aesthetically for their special day. Jamie worked with us to make small modifications to their standard offerings to make the food exactly what we wanted! Our wedding day came and we were floored by the quality/presentation of food, level of detail in place settings, and service from all staff members. We had multiple guests say that this was some of the best wedding food they've had, steaks were not over cooked, and food tasted fresh. Jamie also let us add desserts a week out to reallocate money from a couple of guests who last minute were unable to attend. Their team was even nice enough to service items not purchased through their group: disposables for the late night snack, display and refilling of cupcakes, etc. Overall, their group went above and beyond for us under Jamie's leadership. Our tables looked great, our food was wonderful, and their team was fabulous. We truly appreciate all they've done for us and could not recommend them more! We were extremely impressed with the company's professionalism throughout the entire planning process! From the staff who answered our emails to those that hung up the lights the day of, everyone was extremely helpful and assisted in making our special day run smoothly. We got married on a Friday and had the option to split the cost of the lighting package with the couple getting married on the following day-this was a great alternative that the company offered us! If you are looking to add some extra flare to your event space (especially those brides/grooms getting married in a loft/industrial space!), we would highly recommend looking into MDM Entertainment!

So I wait until October 17th and still receive no quote, so I reach out to them to express the urgency I needed this and that I was frustrated it was taking so long just to get an estimate that I was told would be sent over same day.. And they just didn't respond. Seems unprofessional considering they expect a 5k minimum just to book.
