There are not enough good things in the world to say about unMuddled! From the first correspondence to the handshake farewell of our wedding, Ross and his team were the most professional people I have ever worked with. I've been in the entertainment world in Chicago for 25 years, and I don't want to work with anyone else ever again. Ross and the team at unMuddled were honest, fair, and went above and beyond to not only make us feel special, but make our guests feel special. unMuddled cultivated a specialized menu for our wedding, and worked with us not only on the menu, but also helped us figure out what alcohol to buy. They crafted specialized cocktails for both the bride and groom, and honestly stole the show in the best way possible: they didn't need any tending to. When I first reached out to Ross, I immediately felt at ease, and never once worried about how our wedding would turn out. Ross, I hope you read these reviews... I can't thank you enough for helping to make our wedding the night it was. You're the best. read more

unMuddled Bartending Company - Couple of the signature cocktails that Ross and team had for us! - Bartenders Near Me

I really don't review on Yelp but felt compelled to because of how amazing unMuddled was for a 40th birthday party at our house. All our friends thought we were super fancy for having such a high-end bartender and bar set-up, which is exactly what unMuddled will provide you. We had seen Ross and Jonny at a couple other events, and as both a guest or a host, they made us feel special (while serving us amazing drinks). As a host, they made our lives so much easier; they were easy to work with setting up the menu, giving us a Binny's order, setting everything up day of, etc. Jonny even helped us set up the food, which had nothing to do with the bar, he's just that awesome of a human. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Ross and the UnMuddled team were phenomenal from the first email until the end of our wedding. We would pick them every single time if we did it again. Their initial questionnaire and our ideas helped the team to find the perfect blend of drink options. The cocktails vibed well with our vision (subtle tiki inspiration), and the team's genuine investment in making our wedding memorable was felt by us and all our guests. More specific details outlined below. Process - extremely responsive; opportunities for tweaks throughout; always felt like there was full transparency in their pricing and rationale; never felt like we were being upsold Cocktails - unique ideas that were approachable, complex, and well-balanced; people are still mentioning how good the drinks were months after the wedding Service - attentive and personable; my sister-in-law is a graphic designer, and UnMuddled worked with her to design a custom menu with our pets incorporated; consistency in drink taste/quality from tasting to wedding day and between bartenders was exceptional read more

Everything about our experience with unMuddled was fantastic. We love cocktails and we wanted to work with a bartender that would let us be creative and to provide amazing drinks to go with our wedding. Ross + team started from understanding what we were looking for, working with us to craft a menu, had a great tasting session where we got to try everything out and then knocked it out of the park on the actual day. They were able to help navigate last minute considerations around adjusting glassware and helping to serve wine during dinner and partnered with other vendors extremely well, making it easy for us. On the actual day, the bar service was professional and well organized and all of the drinks were great! I would highly recommend working with them for a wedding or any other event. read more

If I could give this company more than 5 stars, I would! My husband and I had UnMuddled Bartending as our bar service for our Chicago wedding, and when I say Ross goes above and beyond for clients......I mean it! He helped through every step of the booking process, was so communicative and proactive about how big events work, what kinds of liquor/how much to purchase, and the drinks were . Almost every single guest was raving about their custom cocktails (which are incredible and you should DEFINITELY look at their customizable menu), and Ross and his team were absolute professionals and kept our party going!!! As a Christmas present, I booked a mixology class for my family (7 people). The entire experience was a ton of fun. Ross was a great teacher, provided all the supplies we needed, and was tons of fun to hangout with. Everyone walked away from the experience with new information on how to make delicious cocktails. The ingredients that Ross brought also gave a way to make a drink for every palate in attendance. Book yourself a mixology class. You won't regret it. read more

Having unique and memorable signature cocktails was an important aspect of our wedding. We had a destination wedding and were limited to the venue's bartending team, so we set out to find a local mixologist in Chicago that could work with us to develop easy recipes any bartender could follow. Ross and the UnMuddled team surpassed any expectation we could have imagined for this experience. The amount of detail and care he took in helping us throughout the process was incredible. His level of service (and quality of the drinks!) was so amazing that we will be repeat customers for as many events as possible! Any event or experience with cocktails involved, you should absolutely consult with and hire UnMuddled. read more

We hired unMuddled for our wedding in September and highly recommend. Ross was cooperative and responsive during the planning phase and a pleasure to work with the day off. We decided to go for specialty drinks for our wedding and Ross created vodka, tequila, and whiskey based drinks that suited our tastes and were a huge hit with our guests. At the end of the night, Ross and his team packed up all the unused liquor and loaded it in our car so we could return it. We truly appreciated Ross and his staffs professionalism and likability! read more

We recently had Ross bartend a backyard party for us and his services far-exceeded our expectations. We received a bunch of compliments from our friends on how great the set-up was, how amazing the drinks were, and how authentically nice Ross was. From the initial meeting, to planning the drink menu, to the concocting drinks at the actual event, Ross was an absolute pleasure to work with! He is very prompt, insightful, and genuinely cares about his craft. We would highly recommend Ross for any and all gatherings! read more

Great zoom event last night. Informative, well run. Great personality. We plan to do this again.

Ross of unMuddle Bartending Co. hosted a fundraising event for our young professionals board last week and it was SO MUCH FUN! Ross was super engaging and easygoing. Not only was the class a blast, but it was super informative. Ross even took the time to create a presentation personalized to our organization, including logos and colors. I chose unMuddled to host a virtual mixology class for my team during the holidays and it was a hit! Our host, Ross, was very fun and informative. He took the time to break down and explain why each step on building the cocktail was important and was happy to answer even the silliest of questions. My team and I learned a lot of new tips and tricks and we all enjoyed a pair of deliciously unique cocktails together. I highly recommend using unMuddled for your next in person or virtual event. We used unMuddled for a craft cocktail experience at our wedding (~110 people and his/her/theirs cocktails), and I have to say they were FANTASTIC. Ross/Jay/Jonny were very responsive and attentive during planning, even getting us set up for a covid-safe tasting. They were one of the hits of our reception, so much so that we made the call to ask them to stick around a little longer that night to keep slingin' :-). They are great partners, very flexible, and executed exactly as you'd expect (awesome service, awesome cocktails). I'd highly recommend working with them for any event, and I can especially recommend them for wedding receptions!!! read more

Worked with Ross for an office event and our guests loved it! I don't think anyone expected crafted cocktails for a small office party and got rave reviews. And it was so much more affordable than I thought it would be. He was also an absolute pleasure to work with and helped us craft a fun cocktail menu. Thank you, Ross! Look forward to working with you again! read more

Seriously loved this cocktail class! Was a great activity to do with my team at work, and everyone had a great time. I thought we'd just be following along making drinks and chatting (which we did), but we actually learned a lot about mixology so that was a bonus! I also love that I can now make my own signature cocktail :) The class was very hands-on, lots of fun, and I'll definitely book them again for my next work event. read more
