Ross and the team at unMuddled were honest, fair, and went above and beyond to not only make us feel special, but make our guests feel special. unMuddled cultivated a specialized menu for our wedding, and worked with us not only on the menu, but also helped us figure out what alcohol to buy. They crafted specialized cocktails for both the bride and groom, and honestly stole the show in the best way possible: they didn't need any tending to. When I first reached out to Ross, I immediately felt at ease, and never once worried about how our wedding would turn out. Ross, I hope you read these reviews... I can't thank you enough for helping to make our wedding the night it was. You're the best.

The meals came from someone else, but the orderly fashion it was presented and served was duly noted.     A Touch of Elegance was nothing but a disappointment by Denise (Owner) our event executer…read more When reading this review, please realize this was written to help other brides and people who deserve an amazing event planner/executor for their special day. We hired a Touch of Elegance to ONLY execute our designs for our wedding in September 2019. I (The Bride) worked with the owner herself, Denise, who agreed to take on this project. I gave her specific details and instructions on how I wanted key aspects of my wedding to come together which included: putting up a photo backdrop which I designed, placing all tent cards in order on the backdrop, assisting with gathering family members for pictures during cocktail hour, making sure the banquet hall was ready (table numbers, reserved seating, guest gifts) for photography before guests arrive, setting up the memory table, the autograph table, and placing signage. We also had a surprise swing dance number for our guests and I had a dress change, so that is the only thing that she helped us with correctly. Please see the images attached regarding how each part was executed INCORRECTLY as there was not enough room to write it all here sadly. We gave Denise a Call regarding feedback Being the "Hospitality Power Couple" (name given by our family and friends) and myself for receiving a degree in graphic design and hospitality, we were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Learning of some of the issues during our wedding, after our wedding, learning much more from family friends, and the staff of our hotel venue about Denise was hard to take in. Unfortunately, we had to call Denise to ask how she felt our wedding day went as we wanted to hear her side of the story. The best way to sum up the call would be that it showed us who Denise really is. She kept telling us "She DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME". Our first thought was, if you did not leave yourself enough time, why not bring in more of your staff to help you. We placed our trust and faith in her as she reassured us many times everything will be wonderful on our wedding day since we were over organized and too detailed, but it shows that no matter how OCD you may be, it can still be executed WRONG. With Denise knowing all this taking place during our wedding, we feel we wasted our money as we never planned to have an event planner execute our designs but my now husband convinced me that she was worth it. Sadly, we were wrong, and we paid for it as we DID NOT RECEIVE A REFUND from Denise. From one business owner to another (founder of my graphic design company and a nonprofit), I was also DISAPPOINTED that she DID NOT CARE TO CALL us for our feedback. I had to reach out to her to set up a call. As an owner, I would want my clients to be honest with me about my work, my work ethic, and how I am as person when working with clients. I am always trying to be better for my clients, and I hope she does the same going forward because I will never recommend her to family or friends after this experience. I hope Denise learns from our wedding on how not to treat people and their guests when hosting an event. My biggest hope is that she does not cause any of these problems for anyone else's event going forward as no one needs more stress on a big day like their wedding or any special event for that matter.

George is beyond warm, pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, charming, gracious, efficient, and oh so very skilled at listening to what you would like to accomplish for the event, that you have been hired to do. We hit it off with George IMMEDIATELY upon meeting him. He took us on a guided tour of The Cotillion Banquets, explaining to us in measured detail, what was at our disposal, to ensure that we would be able to do everything that we had planned, and be able to provide our clients - the wedding of their dreams, with regards to their décor and wedding theme. The staff at The Cotillion, under George's dedicated, experienced and genuine love and pride for what he has been doing for so many, many years - also reflects the outstanding service provided by everyone at The Cotillion Banquets. The food - all freshly prepared by The Cotillion staff - is simply AMAZING !!! When we first arrived to meet with George and get to see what The Cotillion had to offer - we had already been informed about the superb level of service and the first class menu selections. We dealt with Kristina Hickey who was extremely professional throughout the entire process, answered all of our questions, took notes of what was important to us, and removed any stress associated with planning a wedding. What was really a nice touch is that she had bottles of Korbel champagne, my mother-in-law's favorite, after we briefly mentioned that was her preferred brand. It was those thoughtful touches that made the day extra special! We did a food tasting ahead of time and were blown away by the options and how delicious the food was. My guests are still raving about the food and how Kristina and her team handled everything so nicely; and not just with the food, but the overall set up of the venue. Everyone on her team showed up on time, looked wonderful in their white and black attire and were courteous with guests throughout the evening. When you hire the right people for your wedding, the stress level completely disappears. Throughout the few months leading up to my wedding, my friends and family often commented on how calm I seemed, and that's because I hired the right team. Words can't really express how deeply grateful we are to Corky's for all the work they did to ensure our special day was phenomenal!

I had the chicken piccata, Yankee pot roast, and mixed julienne vegetables, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and salad. All of my guests, including seasoned chefs attending, commented that the food was excellent. The extremely efficient, courteous, and professional staff assisted me with set-up with lightening speed and precision. They took my instructions and orchestrated a symphony of décor that transformed the room within minutes into an elegant dining hall and ballroom fit for royalty. The serving staff was attentive and responsive beyond measure. They even met my baker, received my cake, and stored it for me before I even knew it had arrived. They literally headed off all possible stress from the event prep and enabled me to open my party with ease. I enthusiastically recommend them for your next event and feel they are worth every penny I paid them.
