petergoff's team just helped me throw a 100 people graduation party for my daughter this past weekend. party was fantastic! The team came to my house a few hours before the event and set up serving area, highball tables, bar, and buffet. Everything they brought was high-end - furniture, table linens, bar counter etc. food was beyond delicious. first of all, it is a very impressive looking buffet. petergoff has a concept of adding a modern twist to simple party food. For example, hotdogs and burgers were served miniature style ( Great quality of meat for both burgers and Reuben sandwiches). Candied bacon was served in a tall cup like a bouquet. crowd pleasers fried calamari was served in individual bamboo cups. and tomato mozzarella salad were presented on skewers, arranged very nicely in the half of watermelon . not only Petergoffs team served drinks to 100 people all night, they also helped maintaining the buffet, restock the bar , wash dishes, and swiped floors after the party! Sooo, let's talk about the most luxury restaurant I have ever been. This Pavilion Restaurant & Lounge made me feel so good last Saturday. We had a surprise party for our good friend so we booked a large table for 15 people in advance. The interior looks even more impressive than exterior. I loved it! It was my first time there. One more interesting thing - most of the guests there were just Russians/Ukrainians. And that makes you feel like at home. The food was sooo delicious. The banquet was ordered in ahead so we got bunch of a yummy stuff: smoked salmon, shrimp & avocado salad, fried potato & mushrooms, boiled potatoes & meat, nice sandwiches, "blinchiki" with caviar, vegetables, fruits, sweets and etc etc etc..Oh my God, it was amazing!!! We had our wedding here and we loved it, this place was super. Tanya and her whole staff were extremely professional and diligent. We compared quite few venues before deciding on this place and here are the top reasons why we chose this place. 1.The sound system and stage lighting is in house and for an additional fee you can connect to it. It is worth it every single penny, because all the other venues asked us to bring our own speaker, mic and stage lightings. And if you're planning a wedding, and unless you're a music professional, this is something you'd like to avoid dealing/searching for. The quality of Petergof's sound system seems to be one of the best. 2. The food and service. I've been to many traditional style weddings venues. Usually food is not enough, not tasty and rushed. Service people are inpatient and not too friendly. We really wanted to avoid it, and Petergof staff did not disappoint. Food was great, all of my guests were extremely happy and kept telling us how good the food were. They had vast variety of food that you can choose and customize to your package. 3. Tanya was great. I like working directly with business owners. They all want whats best for the business, so it makes things easier and also trustworthy. Tanya was extremely thorough and explained us everything from A to Z. All brides wants different things, and some doesnt even know what they want. I did not know napkins and linens costs $$ and it comes in 360+ colors. She will tell you everything you need to know. The worst New Year celebration ever! Starting from food and all the way to their so called "entertainment". Total rip off! For the money they charge they did nothing they promised to people . Let's take a moment and talk about their fake black caviar, they literally dyed using black color and put it to serve. Food was absolutely horrible, we left starving cause everything they served had no taste or was cooked a week before they served it. Entertainment was just trash, there is so much I would wanna say about it but I will only use word trash cause it describes it the best. Used a living social deal for brunch, glad I did because this place can be a little pricey. It was a good deal and Amy took good care of us and was helpful in redeeming the deal as well. The presentation was to be expected, very impressive, and the food was very good as well. They were not stingy with the Mimosas which was refreshing and the crowd and atmosphere were pleasing. Not too big, not too small, but just right. If I had to say anything negative, it would be 1) I was seated at a table next to the buffet towards the end, so there was a lot of traffic directly past my seat for diners as well as buffet replenishers. 2) The ice cream put out at the dessert bar were in huge ice cream 5 gallon buckets and they were put out and left out so it did not take long for the ice cream to get soupy 3) We were seated under the air vents and it was decidedly cool Other than that, it was a very positive experience, we will be back. read more

This review is for their school catering service. Requested an ingredients list for food allergy concerns, and it was not very thorough and contained a possible fatal mistake. I, as well as the school, contacted them with follow up questions multiple times, and we've never heard back. Now we resort to bringing our own food because we can't trust this caterer with food allergies. Wish they were more like other caterers that provide thorough ingredients lists. read more

This place is truly amazing. The food is spectacular, the music is awesome and the service is superb. I've attended many birthday's and weddings at Petergof. I decided to finally book my birthday here (after attending so many events for years). The manager, Tanya, made it very easy. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my reservation because I was going to be out of town that weekend. She was very understanding and accommodated me. She was very sincere and genuine. Petergof does not care about its neighbors. They have food delivery trucks come very early in the morning at around 6:15 am as they did today; their kitchen staff is loud. Attended a wedding reception here and was pleasantly surprised. There is plenty of parking outside, which is always a plus. The man lobby area is huge and nicely decorated. The dinning area is a bit on the smaller side, with a small dance floor. Live music was great though. Food selection was vast and everything tasted pretty good. My family and I came here for New Year's Eve. Overall, a bad experience. (1) Music was deafeningly loud. We could barely hear one another while sitting in adjacent chairs. (2) They seemed to serve certain tables preferentially (perhaps friends of the owners), so our table consistently got the last plates of food. In some cases, we were told the food had run out by the time they reached our table but that we could request that same food for "an additional charge" (not kidding) (3) the photographer and videographer stood between our table and the stage for most of the night, so my parents (who actually wanted to see the show) could see nothing. She will give you her honest opinion from her experience on vendors, menu selection etc. but does not push you to take her suggestion. She knows which vendors will do what you want, LISTEN. I did not with a vendor and ran into a sticky situation before the wedding. Food was delicious, well presented and prepared. The entire staff was very nice, hard working, and courteous. This is one of the newer places so the decor is more modern and spotless than most banquet halls. The selection of food was expansive. My fiends wedding had all the delicacies you could think of. For my event, I had a smaller budget and there were still a lot of tasty options to chose from. The best part is they have traditional dining decor as well as the modern white couches and cocktail tables for a lounge style party, which is what I went with for my event. I'd like to introduce negative number of stars specifically to rate this restaurant. To be fare, the restaurant's concept is the same as other Russian-American banquet halls. I don't argue with reviewers who gave this establishment 5 stars rating- it all depends on who you are and what experience you are looking for. Please keep in mind that it is not a restaurant in a traditional meaning but rather a banquet hall. So, if you like to be in a big company of people you've never met before (multiple parties are set in a same room), want overeat not caring about food taste and quality, get drunk, dance at accompaniment of very loud music, and absolutely don't care about having any conversation during the meal - it is for you. By no means accept the invitation to that event there or organize it yourself for that matter. However, if you like having a decent meal, amiable atmosphere, and converse with your dining companions I suggest that you decline. Now the details: - They serve cold appetizers and hot dishes almost at the same time and place them all around table haphazardly (so one has difficulty to see what is available and where it is) - there is no menu at all. By the time you finished with your smoked salmon and/or salad the supposedly hot chicken dish is already cold and not edible. Way too many dishes overall which is, of course, not a guarantee of quality; - Wait staff changes plates on demand but they never change silverware - not even before serving a dessert; - Instead of putting bottles on the table, the waiter asks you at the very beginning what you are going to drink and then he/she fills your glass with the same throughout the dinner - no concept of pairing whatsoever; - Loud music (when I write loud I mean torture quality loud) starts almost at once while people are still at the beginning of their dinner. And that's all - you cannot hear your neighbor unless he/she shouts directly into your ear. At this time you are supposed to dance so they dim the lights. Now not just you are unable to hear you also are unable to see - complete sensory deprivation. Perhaps, it is the best restaurant among that class but I frankly don't think so. The very least they could do is to serve cold and hot dishes separately and let diners finish their dinner before starting loud dance music and dimming the lights. read more

Very disappointing experience. Had made reservations for a group after a funeral. The owner made fun of my food allergies, was very disrespectful. Overcharged us based on the original quote. Their staff told us a different price, but when we got there, the price went up. The owner told us we will take the food home that wasn't consumed (it was family style), but they didn't give up the dessert (gave as much of the dessert as the number of people that showed up, not how much we paid for, which was for more than showed up).
