Overpriced ! Horrible experience with 10 Minute Locksmith LLC. I called ahead to have a mailbox…read morelock changed and was given a price range of $90-$150 to change the lock . When the technician arrived, he initially quoted $150 and mentioned it could increase slightly depending on the type of lock once opened. I thought it was strange that he had to open the box 1st to see what kind of lock is needed since mailbox locks are pretty standard. He said the new price was $185. When it came time to pay, the final bill was suddenly $335. He charged $150 just to unlock the mailbox and an additional $185 to install the new lock. This breakdown was never clearly explained upfront, and it felt very misleading. At that point, I had no choice but to pay because my old lock had already been removed and I needed access to my mailbox. I felt pressured into paying a price I did not agree to and was not properly informed about. I would not recommend this company based on my experience. Make sure you get a clear, itemized quote in writing before any work begins. When I told him I would be giving him the company a honest review he said " I don't care".
