I could not be happier with Dr. Samantha Kufta, and her team. The team is really nice, and they are great with people who have fears and phobia's around the dentist. I highly recommend them! read more

I was originally very impressed with the care I received here and even told multiple people they should check them out. That changed very recently. When I went toward the end of last year, they did a typical sales pitch. The multiple times I went we had discussed Invisalign. I had braces growing up but lost my retainer and my bottom teeth have shifted slightly. Multiple times we discussed only getting the bottom. I was given a cost for the bottom tray. That's all I wanted. We repeated this conversation multiple times. On the day they scanned, we started with my bottom teeth. The tech then started scanning my top teeth, I stopped her and told her we were only doing the bottom. Her response was they needed to scan the top too to see how my top teeth interact with the bottom teeth. This made sense to me. Fast forward to mid February, I still hadn't heard anything so I call. Apparently it had already arrived, but they wouldn't tell me when. I went in this past Monday to pick it up. When I was getting fitted they pull out the bottom and top piece, I even said wait the top too? I was surprised and didn't know what to do. When I got to the front, the receptionist gave me a cost that was $700 dollars more than the original cost they'd told me. My jaw dropped and I explained how I was only supposed to get the bottom. Of course suddenly none of the notes say this and any quote is not available. No one would talk to me about it then and I still have NOT heard from anyone and I feel like I'm being gaslit. I'm pretty disgusted with this level of patient service. I don't know how on their end they can feel okay with a $700 difference. I never would have been okay with that cost. I really thought I'd found an honest dentist. read more

Dr. Santini is outstanding and I recommend him and his dental services to you! The office is professional with two administrators running the front desk. I arrived early to complete paperwork and was promptly seen at my appointment time of 10am. The doctor asked a few questions to help him and his hygienist properly service my teeth. Conveniently enough there is a television for viewing directly above the patient chair, feel fee to suggest a channel! The hygienist was great and left me with that "fresh from the dentist" feeling. Dr. Santini has an optional oral cancer screening service and he was upfront about the cost. It was an easy decision to accept the screening. Should you be in search of a dentist, Dr. Santini is a perfect choice. Schedule an appointment with him ASAP! read more

I've been a patient at One Mag Smile for years. Dr. Dyoco and her team are spectacular. They genuinely care about your dental health and go out of their way to make your visit as comfortable as possible. read more

This is easily the best dental office experience I've ever had. Dr. Dyoco has such a kind, caring disposition. I am one of those many people who deeply dislikes going to the dentist (it's nearly a phobia, honestly), but Dr. Dyoco has a way of making me feel comfortable and assuages my nerves. Both the hygienist, Emily, and the dental assistant, Quinn, have a very gentle touch and are super friendly. The wonderful office manager, Vanessa, did a great job explaining to me how my insurance works (because I definitely don't understand it), and provided incredible service. I visited to receive 4 fillings - not really something I was looking forward to. The care, patience, and understanding I received was phenomenal. I had a lot of work done, but they made me as comfortable as possible. And the best part? My bite is perfect! In the past I've had to return to the dentist after receiving fillings to have my bite adjusted over and over, but she did it perfectly the very first time. I recommend One Mag Smile to anyone with anxiety about visiting the dentist. They provide fantastic service all while making sure you're as comfortable as possible. Dr. Dyoco is the only dentist I will see in Chicago. Would give 100 stars if I could! read more

Today I received the best teeth cleaning I can ever remember. The office is very clean and attractive. Dr Dyoco is simply the Best! She will spend the time to explain everything you need to know for better dental health. read more

Dr Dyoco and her team are incredible! I've been visiting her since June for some orthondontic work and each visit has been fast, informative, and painless. The office is located on the 6th floor on the 980 N Michigan Ave building with unobstructed lake front views from each dental chair. Not bad at all! I selected her office after getting Invisalign consultations at another office that quoted me much higher. I believe this pricing here is fair and transparent. At the end of my treatment, my Invisalign aligners has not fully corrected my teeth, so Dr. Dyoco extended my treatment by ordering an additional three sets of aligners at no additional cost. There was another issue with the fit of my retainer, so Dr Dyoco compensated for the delay by including a whitening kit, again at no cost. I was pleased with her generosity but really appreciated her guidance throughout my 28-week treatment. She took the time to inquire about me as a person, rather than just discuss business. What more can you ask for? It's the best! read more

I love this dentist and the staff. I got Invisalign there and I go every 3 months for cleaning. They are very gentle and thorough, plus they know I have TMJ issues and build in extra time for my cleanings so I can take breaks. Dr. Dyoco is really nice, answers all your questions, and never rushes through a visit. Best of all, I never have to wait more than 5 minutes before I'm seen (I can't stand when doctors don't respect your time and are constantly running behind schedule). I also really like the woman at the front desk- she's very efficient and helpful. You can tell when people like where they work and it seems like the staff are happy and have good attitudes. Note: I went most recently during COVID times- everything was really clean and everyone wore masks. When the hygienist and dentist worked on my teeth, they used a plastic shield to separate us. Hand sanitizer is available in various places across the office. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Dyoco for the past 4 years and it's been a great experience. Dr. Dyoco is personable and professional, and Emily the hygienist (as part of her team) is also highly skilled. If a procedure is needed, Dr. Dyoco will discuss all options as well as price with insurance. Then the patient can decide which option is best based on budget and need. I believe this is what truly sets One Mag Smile apart. I have recommended a few of my friends to Dr. Dyoco because I think she is one of the best dentists that I have seen. read more

I love Dr. Dyoco. The whole practice is really well run and they try to make sure you start exactly on time. Sometimes, of course, delays are unavoidable, but I rarely wait more than five minutes in the waiting room. Dr. Dyoco is incredibly personable, as are all of the hygienists. Being able to watch your favorite show and look at the lake are added bonuses! read more

Emily THE Dental Hygienist is amazing! My visit was 12/18/17 Emily was so detailed in cleaning my teeth. My mouth/teeth felt so clean I didn't want to eat!!! She takes pride in what she does and enjoys it. Dr. Dyoco is the goddess of teeth! She informed me what work I'll need done in an encouraging gentle way. Her concern is my dental health. How can you not enjoy the view of the lake, as your teeth are being cleaned... Thank you for all that you do ladies!!!! read more

I am so grateful that I found Dr. Dyoco. From my very first visit to the office, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable both by the friendly, competence of the staff and the pleasant environment of the office. I had veneers done on my front teeth by a prominent dentist in 1994. Surprisingly, they held up well for 25 years! I went to Dr. Dyoco because my top teeth were starting to look dull and I wanted to replace them. Once she started the procedure, she discovered lots of decay underneath the old veneers. It was really bad. Most dentists would have suggested pulling the teeth, but she worked tirelessly for hours carefully removing the decay and saving my teeth. She never complained and continued to work on my teeth for hours. They came out beautiful. The veneers are the perfect color and gives me a beautiful smile. I am often complimented on my teeth, so of course I smile just to show them off. Lol I am thankful to Dr. Dyoco and her skillful approach to address my issue. Because of her my teeth are healthy and my smile is perfect. I love her! read more

I should have known something wasn't right when the hygienist starting preparing me for bad news before she even looked in my mouth. It *had* been two years since I'd had a checkup but I have always had good teeth and was shocked when I was told I had four cavities in need of filling and would need a "deep cleaning" (which I later researched and learned was a euphemism for a root planing - a serious procedure recommended for sufferers of advanced periodontal disease). When I asked the hygienist about the cost of the work and whether my insurance would cover it, she started having a coughing fit and excused herself from the room. And was gone for 15 minutes. So weird. After speaking with Dr. Dyoco, I agreed to this and made the appointments but after I left the office I started to come to my senses and decided to get a second opinion. Lo and behold the second opinion doc says I have one cavity that needs filling, another couple areas to watch and my gums are healthy and do not need "deep cleaning". Recommending a painful, expensive, risky procedure to a patient who doesn't really need it seems kind of unethical to me but I suppose that's how you afford an office on Michigan Avenue with massage chairs and a widescreen TV in the waiting room. read more

I never thought I'd see the day I walked out of a dental office in a great mood, but Dr. Dyoco and her practice have changed that. Dr. Kim is thorough, patient in explaining procedures and X-rays, and never pushy. What I love most is she walks you through each option, keeping your personal needs (timing, finances) in mind rather than just laying on a treatment plan. The office is impeccably clean and the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgable. It doesn't hurt that the office has a very calming view of the lake! I highly recommend Dr. Dyoco. read more

I've been going to Dr. Dyoco at One Mag Smile since 2011 and her and her office staff are so unbelievably warm, personable, and professional. All of the procedure that she recommends are 100% necessary - there is no up-selling here- AND they are somehow both thorough and gentle in their cleanings. Naturally, I have recommenced my boyfriend, friends, and coworkers to her practice and I always gotten a "thank you" from them for recommending such a great dentist. Did I mention the beautiful view of Oak Street Beach from the newly renovated office? Ahhh, this place is a dream! read more

One Mag Smile makes going to the dentist a pleasurable experience with excellent service and a fantastic office. The location itself is extremely convenient as its right off of Michigan Avenue. The office is always clean and overlooks the lake with incredible views. The dental chairs even have TVs above so that you can watch it while you are getting your teeth cleaned. The staff is so friendly and so efficient, which makes the whole experience streamlined and enjoyable. I would highly recommend One Mag Smile. read more

Did going to the dentist just become a pleasant experience?? My co-worker, Katie, has been raving about this practice. I really wasn't thrilled with my previous dentist, so I figured this would be a great place to try. The entire process was great. The assistant is super friendly and did a great job doing the x-rays, getting me settled in. Dr. Dyoco did my cleaning herself, which has NEVER happened. They both made a huge effort to get to know ME and what I was looking for. The dental chair is a massage chair. Just take a second to let that sink in. Amazing. I felt like both Dr. Dyoco and her assistant spent more than enough time with me, so my care was really exceptional. And my teeth were squeaky clean when I left. I am never, ever, ever leaving this practice. I recommend it to anyone, and I will most certainly be referring all of my friends. read more

Had a great experience and will definitely go back + recommend friends & family due to the following reasons: 1. EXCELLENT DENTAL CARE Dr. Dyocos was clearly very focused on patient care while she worked on my teeth. She wanted to make sure I was informed + comfortable during the whole time. One other big plus is that she handles most of the work herself instead of other "dental factories" whereby the tech/assistant is working on your teeth, and the dentist drops by for 5 mins to sign the forms 2. SUPER COMFORTABLE Not only is there a massage chair, but there is a tv screen that I can look at while my teeth is getting worked on. In addition, the chair faces Lake Michigan and I can see the beach (on the 15th floor). Awesome! 3. DOES NOT FEEL LIKE A DENTIST I am not a fan of visiting dentists. Period. This place does not have that sterile dental smell or sterile dental feel. Nice warm decor and pleasant feel/ambiance. I might even enjoy going to the dentist in the future... : ) read more

Dr. Kimberly Dyoco has strong ethics and I stick to providers who are ethical. That's hard to find. I made my appointment and advised them that I had previously been turned down by another dental office (Fulton River) because although they took my type of insurance, they did not want to deal with my employer (the State of Illinois-there have been issues with the state of Illinois taking a very long time to pay dentists). I was really sad and heard from other employees that they had the same issue and finding a dentist who didn't mind waiting long to get payment was hard, which is understandable but at the same time it's not fair for me either considering I'm still getting money deducted from my paycheck to pay for the insurance. I was pleasantly surprised to hear from Dr. Kimberly Dyoco that they didn't mind dealing with my insurance and even informed me that they had patients with the same insurance that they had just gotten paid after over a year! She told me in person that she understood my dilemma and did not agree with other offices refusing service to state employees which almost made me want to hug her and give her a kiss!! All that aside, the hygienist and the Dr. were amazing during my examination. I was not in pain and was perfectly comfortable during my cleaning. So much, I was paying more attention to the attached tv on my seat than the procedure itself. The office is extremely clean, new, and confortable. Very nice looking office with friendly faces. Dr. Dyoco made me feel confortable and look forward to my next appointment. I read a bad interview that on Yelp about this office charging $50 for not being able to attend the appointment which it is true but they give you a paper with that explanation and have you sign so it should be no surprise to anyone I think. Also, that applies only if you don't let them know of the change in plans within 24 hours of appointment. They are very understanding people. I'm sure they have exceptions depending on the situation and I believe they even state it in the paragraph you sign. read more

Dr. Dyoco rocks. I have a new permanent dentist for sure. Maybe the most unique visit to the dentist ever. She took a personal interest in my teeth and ME. Right from the moment I walked in, I felt like I was just visiting a friend. The decor in the office is homey and that feeling is amplified once you're in the chair...the massage chair by the way...yeah. The Doc put some numbing gel on my gums to make absolute sure not to cause any pain during my cleaning and then put lip gloss on me when we were done. That's comfort from start to finish. I even got to watch a TV that they put above me while I was laid back in the chair. On top of that, Dr. Dyoco and her staff are incredibly nice, informative, and caring. read more

Just got back from 1/2 yearly checkup with Dr. Dyoco. She was great! This was my first visit to the office, which is very nice, and I felt very welcome. We watched The Price is Right on tv above the chair, which was massaging me, while getting the cleaning, and talked about the city. The location is prime, right on Oak and Michigan. If you are looking for a very friendly and caring dentist, I would go! read more

Terrific staff, especially Dr. Dyoco. Highly recommend

One Mag Smile is everything I wanted in a dentist office: clean, reliable, communicative, trustworthy, and friendly. I was referred by a friend in the Chicago area when I first moved here, and I have gone back for many years. Kim and her team do a great job at welcoming you to their office, and making you feel right at home on your first visit. I have become a good friend of the office, and I am so appreciative. I highly recommend One Mag Smile to anyone looking for a dentist in the Chicagoland area. 5/5 stars! read more

The view from the dental chairs are amazing. By far the best views of any dentist office I have visited. The wonderful thing is that the exam / cleaning was almost as good. I think one would have to be insane to say a visit to the dentist is better than a beautiful view of the lake, but this was almost a toss up. Dr. Dyoco was conscientious, attentive, asked the right questions to make sure she offered relevant services. Told her I was maintenance only and that's what I got. I have had so many bad experiences with dentists recently and am so very happy to have found One Mag Smile. Some amazing highlights - the view from the 15th floor out to the beach and lake - updated dental tech. X-rays use some sort of digital reader instead of X-ray paper. - dental chair has built in back massager. HOLY COW! - cleaning by Dr. Dyoco herself was the most gentle and very thorough - you know how your lips get chapped with your mouth open all the time. doesn't happen at One Mag Smile. some sort of lip gloss applied before you start. SUPER NICE TOUCH - offered relevant advice in a respectful and kind manner I'm going back for some fillings and am almost looking forward to it (Sorry Dr. Dyoco it is still a visit to the dentist) :) read more

Damm, one mag smile is absolutely great!!! Anell the gal at the front desk is extremely friendly and the staff have remained extremely flexible in assisting my daughter with her appointments prior to her going to the Marines!!!! The staff is nice, welcoming and always ensures that my needs are met. While the hygienist is fairly new, they coached me through the next steps of my treatment! Hands down One Mag Smile is the place to go!!!! Semper Fi, keep up the good work!! MMcgraw@amazon.com read more

Dr. Dyoko is great. She is very kind, always looking out for my teeth in the long run, and seems to really care about her patients. The staff at the door are very friendly. Lindsay did my cleaning and she was also great. She gave good feedback on how I can keep my teeth clean and helps on how to get some of the hard to reach spots. The atmosphere is great. I have seen Dr. Dyoco for the last 3 years and she is so warm and wonderful. I have never had such a pleasant experience at the dentist! From the moment I walked in the staff was friendly and welcoming. The waiting room doesn't have the cold sterile feeling, but is set up with a couch, television, and lovely decor. Dr. Dyoco met with me and did my cleaning which was very nice! It is easy to tell she takes pride in what she does and makes sure to treat her patients with the care they are looking for. She took time with me and paid attention to detail, all while being gentle on my teeth and gums! Other dentists I have had come in for a quick check up after the tech has done a cleaning...this is NOT that type of experience. The staff is personable yet professional with such wonderful personality. I did find out I had a cavity and I must say that I'm not even dreading getting it filled for once! I have extreme dental anxiety. Dr. Dyoco and her staff are WONDERFUL. She is patient and friendly and always walks me through procedures before she gets started. I like to know exactly is going on while she's working in my mouth and she talks to me and keep me informed the whole time. The tech, Chris, is awesome too! When I was getting my wisdom teeth out, he could tell I was starting to freak out and took his latex glove off and said, "Do you need to hold my hand?" I TOTALLY needed a hand to hold. The hygienist is great (red hair, can't remember her name) is really gentle and chatty, which I like cuz I like to be distracted. Anell, the front desk person is friendly and helpful. I just love them all. I hate dentists but I love this place. Highly, highly, highly recommend! read more

I first visited Dr. Dyoco upon recommendation from my previous dentist when I moved to Chicago a couple of years ago. I have only had fantastic experiences at One Mag Smile and with Dr. Dyoco. I rarely am so astonished by a business that I am prompted to write on Yelp but I feel One Mag Smiles truly deserves praise. I'm always treated extremely kindly and professionally by the doctor and her team. Once, when I wasn't 100% happy with my experience, the doctor went far and beyond to fix the situation. How a business handles these types of situations says a lot more than when things are perfect. I am absolutely happy that they are my dentist and I recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to seek out One Mag Smile. You will leave smiling. read more

After moving to Chicago I was in desperate need of finding a new dentist. My boyfriend highly recommended Dr. Dyoco since he's been going to her for years. After my first visit, I was very impressed by how professional and kind everyone at the office was. Not to mention Dr. Dyoco is absolutely amazing! She is very honest about everything and always tries to find a way to work with you to make sure you're only getting necessary treatments unlike some other dentists I've visited in the past that want to sell you on a ton of stuff you don't need. All the technology used is state of the art and Dr. Dyoco is very up to speed with the newest procedures. Although I typically dread getting cleanings and fillings, I no longer have to worry since every time has been quick and painless.
