I would strongly caution anyone considering buying a vehicle from this dealership to be extremely careful. AutoPark Dallas makes the following statement on its website: "The team here at AutoPark Dallas is dedicated to offering a level of customer service not usually found in the automobile industry. Thanks to years of extensive car buying/selling experience, we pursue quality used and new vehicles that are hand-picked from factory sources. Our love for automobiles and dislike of 'traditional dealership tactics' is what motivates us to provide the service we do! The pride we take in continuing this service long after the vehicle has been delivered is what we strive for! Looking forward to making every effort to see that our customer is completely satisfied and a friend for life!" In my opinion, every part of that statement was proven untrue during my buying experience with Jay and AutoPark Dallas. I purchased a vehicle from AutoPark Dallas as an out-of-state customer. After the vehicle was delivered, I discovered that important safety-related equipment and other items were missing from the car. AutoPark Dallas sold me the vehicle without all of the lug studs installed on each wheel. Each wheel had only 5 of the 6 lug studs installed, and the center caps were installed and concealed the missing lug studs. The missing lug studs were the security/safety lug studs intended to help prevent theft of the wheels and tires. I found this out after one of the "B" center caps fell off the car while driving down the freeway at 75 mph on the 101. In addition, the emergency spare tire, emergency tools, car jack, the two holders for the emergency tools, and the center locking bolt used to secure the spare tire, tools, and jack were all missing from the vehicle. The manufacturer's safety instructions, owner's manuals/documents, the Bentley ashtray from the center console, the trickle charger, and the charger case were also missing. These items appear to have been present when the vehicle was listed by the previous dealership in Chicago, before AutoPark Dallas acquired it. On top of that, I was ch AutoPark Dallas also failed to disclose multiple issues with the vehicle, including: - The passenger-side door window frame was bent or out of alignment. - The front grille surround was cracked in two places. - The driver's window was out of alignment and this scratched the driver-side glass through the interior tint. - The rear bumper sections were misaligned where they meet the rear wheel wells on both sides of the vehicle. The center console button used to raise and lower the rear deflector was broken and did not work. The dealership said the delay in shipping was due to not having staff to perform the promised detail of the car. The detail of the car was not performed. The car was delivered with an electronic key fob that did not work. The key fob had been disassembled then reassembled by an inexperienced technician without all of the original parts and did not function. In Texas, dealerships are generally required to disclose known defects that affect a vehicle's value or safety. Removing or failing to disclose missing safety-related equipment, emergency tools, lug studs, spare tire components, owner's manuals, or other critical parts may raise serious consumer protection concerns. Texas dealerships must comply with applicable state and federal laws when selling vehicles, including sales to out-of-state customers. These obligations may include proper disclosure of known defects, compliance with consumer protection laws, and ensuring that a vehicle is not sold in an unsafe or misleading condition. In my opinion, selling a vehicle without all required lug studs installed, while also concealing the missing studs with center caps, is extremely concerning. The same is true for selling a vehicle without the emergency spare tire, jack, tools, and other safety-related equipment, especially when those items appear to have been present before AutoPark Dallas acquired the vehicle. I believe this experience raises serious concerns under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act and other consumer protection laws. Texas dealerships that violate consumer protection laws may face civil penalties, fines, or other legal consequences depending on the circumstances. In conclusion, I would not recommend AutoPark Dallas. Buyer Beware -- My Experience with HCC Specialty Cars…read more In December 2024, I agreed to buy a 1986 Porsche 930 from HCC Specialty Cars. I flew down on December 8th to inspect the car. When I arrived, I was told they had just pulled it out -- but the engine was already warm, which seemed odd. We went for a drive, and I was told the car had been serviced and came with a binder showing about $140,000 in documented work over its lifetime. During the test drive, I noticed a few small issues. I asked for them to be fixed before delivery, and they assured me they would take care of everything. None of those things were addressed. Later, Patrick (the owner) told me he was disappointed in his team and said he had personally inspected the car though what that inspection involved is still unclear. One thing that blows me away is him saying that he had the car serviced and the oil filter was 12 years old when we got it serviced. 12 years old! The car was delivered to me on December 23rd. The delivery company had trouble getting it started. A few days later, I let HCC know the car wasn't running right. the battery kept dying, and the idle would fluctuate so badly at night that the car nearly stalled. I brought it to Patrick Motorsports, one of the most respected Porsche shops in the country. They replaced the battery and advised me to drive it briefly, but more issues came up almost immediately. The car felt unreliable, and I was constantly worried it would break down. I contacted Patrick again, and we both agreed it needed a full evaluation and repair. I did end up spending over $70,000 to make this car right. I did not expect Patrick to reimburse me this amount but I did expect him to make it right. He never did nor has he attempted to. As the list of issues grew, Patrick started becoming harder to reach. He told me he was overwhelmed and dealing with a lot of other cars. I encouraged him multiple times to speak directly with Kyle at Patrick Motorsports, who could explain exactly what they found. Patrick made one call to Kyle, but never returned any of the three calls Kyle made back to him. Once I mentioned I was planning to go public with my complaints, Patrick said he might offer some kind of financial concession. Then he told me he should perhaps just save it for legal fees. At the end of the day, this comes down to character. Patrick talks a good game, seems sincere, and has a great story but in my experience, he didn't follow through on anything that mattered. He didn't stand behind the car, didn't communicate honestly, and didn't make things right. If you're thinking about buying from HCC Specialty Cars, don't take anyone's word for it. get the car independently inspected before you commit. I didn't, and it cost me.

Since my better half and I both needed to agree on this final dream car we were looking to share, HCC had one that we were able to compromise on and agree on. The dealer's owner Patrick was highly responsive to all our various questions. Since we weren't prepared to fly out to Texas, we were essentially relying completely on photos, videos, CarFax and the word of Patrick. Since he was a real straight shooter, we felt satisfied with the car and decided to move forward. We put in an offer that was accepted. After that, Patrick assisted with getting some additonal work done on the car before assisting with making arrangements to ship the car out from TX. After the car shipping company delivered the car, there were some unexpected hiccups with the car. Thankfully nothing mechanical...just annoying items that pestered the perfectionist sides of my wife and I. We immediately reached out to Patrick and he did do his best to try to problem solve and work through the issues. In the end, I did have to also enlist the help of my trusty Porsche contact at my local dealership. Long story short, everything all worked out in the end which is what ultimately matters. Overall, given the selection of great NA classics in HCC's inventory and what a professional, standup guy the owner Patrick is, HCC is highly recommended as far as boutique dealerships go!

I do extensive research before I ever walk into a dealership, I know exactly what vehicle and options I want, and I'm very particular about how I structure a deal. I wanted a specific 2027 Kia Carnival SX Prestige Hybrid, a 15,000-mile-per-year lease, a strong value for my trade, and numbers that made sense. I also made it clear that this is my first Kia and that I preferred leasing because I wanted to experience the brand before deciding whether I would own one long term. Not once did anyone at Huffines make me feel difficult for asking detailed questions or negotiating aggressively. Instead, they listened and worked with me. I initially worked with Julie, who was incredibly responsive and helpful, and I also had the opportunity to meet Art. When I returned the following day, Julie had already left for a planned vacation, so Daniel and Nathan stepped in. What impressed me was that there was absolutely no drop-off in the experience. I didn't feel like I had to start over or that I suddenly became someone else's problem. Everyone seemed genuinely interested in getting the deal done and making sure I was comfortable with it. The finance experience was excellent as well. Unfortunately, I can't remember the finance gentleman's name, but he deserves recognition too. He was transparent, professional, and straightforward. I never felt like the numbers were being moved around or that I was being pressured into something I hadn't agreed to. What ultimately stood out was how reasonable and transparent the entire dealership was. I had received significantly lower trade numbers elsewhere and was very clear about what I expected. Huffines took my position seriously, worked with me on the trade, and ultimately gave me $3,000 more for my vehicle than another Kia dealership had offered, while also getting me into the lease structure and mileage I actually wanted at a lower payment. And they did it without games. From the time we seriously started putting the deal together to completion, everything was handled within about 24 hours. I think Huffines being a smaller dealership may actually be one of its biggest advantages. At some larger dealerships, it's easy to feel like you're simply the next lead or the next opportunity on a list. That was never my experience here. Every person I interacted with made me feel like my business mattered. When I was talking to someone, I felt like I had their full attention. Most importantly, they understood something simple: you don't have to agree with a customer on every number to treat their questions and expectations seriously. They listened, communicated, negotiated reasonably, and found a way to put together a deal that worked for both sides. The dealership gave me a diagnostic code that turned out to be incorrect and then quoted me nearly $500 for the part and another nearly $500 in labor to fix the supposed issue. That immediately raised red flags. Instead of authorizing the repair, I verified the code myself. Two days later, I had the actual issue repaired for $105.96 total. The code they provided wasn't even the correct one. Whether this was due to incompetence or an attempt to sell an unnecessary repair, neither explanation is acceptable. Customers trust dealerships to provide accurate diagnostics and honest recommendations, not inflated estimates based on incorrect information. This experience reinforced how important it is for consumers to get a second opinion, verify diagnostic codes when possible, and not blindly accept expensive repair estimates. Had I not taken the time to investigate, I could have easily spent close to $1,000 on a repair that ultimately cost just over $100. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this service department. I expected honesty and expertise from a dealership, and unfortunately, I received neither.

There were still fingerprints on the screen, hair in the cup holders, dust on the rear windows, and the engine bay hadn't been touched. I also noticed the engine was warm, and the mileage had gone down by about 10 miles, which is extremely concerning for a detailing service. On top of that, there was a new odd mark on the hood that wasn't there before. When I asked about a discount due to all of this, they declined and still charged me $200. I later followed up with a text and was just left on read, with no explanation or apology.
