They knew that they sold me a faulty car because something was clearly wrong with it prior to the sale. tjis was not due to just wear and tear. I also referred a friend prior to this incident, and her vehicle exhaust went out 10 days after she purchased it. I understand my credit isn't great, and I may have given the dealership a challenging task. However, the experience was disappointing. The salesperson called me on Friday, then I didn't hear back all weekend. I reached out Monday asking if I had been ghosted, and was told the banks were closed--yet I noticed multiple credit inquiries over the weekend. Later, I had to initiate the conversation again, only to be told that "two banks" required a co-signer. When I asked if they only work with two banks, the response was delayed. At that point, I decided to look elsewhere and ended communication. Transparency and timely updates would have gone a long way. read more

Do not buy from D&M Leasing!! My husband & I purchased a 2018 Infinity QX60 with a little over 79,000 miles on it from them in September of 2023. I was told that the car had been completely serviced and inspected & everything was good to go. The salesman even drove the car to me in Fort Worth. Not even 4 months later (February 2024 ) it was in the shop because the check engine light came on. The code pulled that either the camshaft or crankshaft sensor needed to be replaced, so just to be safe we replaced both & got an oil change because it was time for one. When we went to pick up the car we were told that the oil looked like it hadn't been changed in a very long time and that it was filthy. Awesome. $800 later we took the car home and thought we were good . NOT On April 22nd my husband was on his way home from work and said the car was making a grinding noise off and on but the engine light hadn't come on. He also said that when he was getting off the fwy the car felt like it was about to lose power but didn't. When he got home we went around the block so that I could hear the grinding noise but it had gone away. I saw the engine light come on one time for literally only 5 seconds and then it turned off. The next we took the car back to the shop and we were told that there were shards of metal in the oil & all through the engine from the timing chain & that we needed a whole new engine! They said the total would be $16,300 for the new (used) engine & labor!! I contacted D & M Leasing, told them what had happened and that I feel like I was sold a bad car. I was told that they would buy the car back from me and put us in a new car, but we would still be very upside down and our new payment would be at least $1,000/month. I said if I had $1,000/month to pay for a car payment do you think I would've gone to you guys?! No. Nothing else was offered and that was the end of it. We still owe $17,000 on the car and it can't even be driven & I'm not putting a new engine in a car I just bought 8 months ago!! Talk about being screwed over. read more

I have 800+ credit but the vibe I'm getting is maybe this is where people who struggle getting financing go. Spent hours working with a James Lopez. I drop the occasional swear word because I'm a grown adult and that's how most of us speak. Plenty of ish's and eff's mentioned when speaking with him and never a problem. However he paid no heed to the payment range I told him I was comfy with and instead he showed me models/trims/payments way out of the monthly budget I had given him. That's a waste of time, and I told him as much. He went full snowflake and had the nerve to hung up on me. I am now working with a manager who has been knowledgeable and is actually helping me with numbers within my comfort zone. I'm going to see this through a bit more and will update soon read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had high hopes for working with D&M Leasing. I have to lease a vehicle in order to get my leasing allowance from my employer. I called and was transferred to Adam Flores "Lease Manager." After speaking with him for twenty minutes, explaining what I was looking for, we ended the conversation and he was supposed to get back with me on vehicles that matched my criteria. He did not. I had to contact him almost a week later asking for an update. When he finally started sending me pictures, I asked him to send me the numbers on three different cars. Instead of being fully transparent, he sent me an email that made absolutely no sense. When I emailed him back, explaining that I should only be financing the depreciation of the car over the lease period (plus interest), this was his response: "You would not be financing 35085. You would be financing 76+ plus TTL. You are paying interest on the total amount financed. That is used to determine what payments are." Mind you the $76K+ is the total cost of the vehicle. Why on earth would I lease a car and finance the full amount of the vehicle and limit myself on mileage, etc. It makes absolutely no sense. I would be better off purchasing the vehicle. I am super disappointed that this company and its managers are so dishonest. I don't know if he thought he was going to pull one over on me or what but it solidifies the old wives tale about "used car salesman." I would definitely stay away from this company if you are looking for honesty and transparency. read more

However, after my review, we received quick follow up from the CEO of the company. He has personally looked through the records and our attempts at contacting our agent and verified that things were not handled appropriately on their end. Bought a truck from Justin Flowers. He's been great and even drove the truck two hours to meet me. However, when I was test driving the vehicle the check engine light came on. I told him that I was concerned about taking the vehicle because I was afraid it would need work done immediately. Justin told me that D&M Leasing provided a warranty to cover anything that would need to be fixed. I did not find this in my paperwork. So, we sat in the vehicle together while he called his management to confirm the warranty. When he got them on the phone they confirmed that they would cover the price of any work that needed to be done if I took it to a dealership back home. I told him that I would follow-up with a dealership back home. However, the next day the check engine light went away. I did not take it in because, to my understanding, they would not be able to check the issue without a code. However, I ran the car through a carwash that next week and water was leaking in from the sun roof. I contacted Justin and let him know that it would be a few weeks before the local Ford would be able to see my vehicle about the leak. He told me to keep him posted on any updates. Last week, I was finally able to drop my car off to get the leak fixed. I gave them D&M Leasing's contact information for payment (approx. $230-280) for the repair. The local Ford rep. called D&M to get the payment and was initially told "Why would we pay for that? He bought the car as-is." Then, he spoke with them again but this time they claimed I had an "extended warranty" and would send him documentation to back it up. He never received the documents. He followed up with them the next day and was told that they would not pay for the service. I contacted Justin this morning, and he told me that this repair is not a part of the warranty. My issues are: clear misrepresentation of said warranty, and the fact that Justin had almost an entire month to tell me they wouldn't cover this repair - but didn't say anything until after the service was complete. One thing that Justin told me when I was buying the vehicle is that they're working to get customers for life. How does this behavior (misrepresenting their warranty and commitment) gain lifelong customers? They have yet to contact me after I asked Justin to get with his management team to cover the cost of the repair. read more

We had a leased Toyota 4 Runner that we decided to purchase after two years on a home refinance closeout. The leasing manager was completely uncooperative. All we needed was payoff amount and the date that the payoff amount would be good until. It took her over three weeks, we had to change our closing date, and we got a late notice from the bank because the leasing manager sat on the payoff, claiming she didn't know it had arrived in accounting. On top of that, she sent a hateful email/text to our loan officer telling her she didn't know what she (loan officer) needed. The leasing is incompetent and tried to blame everyone else in the loop. Throughout the lease, there were huge concerns and there were frustrations. A year after I got the lease, I had to move out of state. Getting the information needed to register my car in a different state was not easy. D&M was not helping providing documentation needed for the other state to get what they needed to register the vehicle. I was willing to chop that up to COVID times, but then other stuff happened. Whenever someone would contact me for updates, they wouldn't be aware that I had spoken with someone else and already shared the information being requested. Towards the end of my lease, when I started inquiring about buying out my lease and asking about fees and total costs, it became very clearly evident my leasing agent had no idea what has happening. It took over 6 months for me to get answers that I needed. Then when I had a question about payments and things not adding up, I asked for an accounting of all my payments. That again took months to get the information I needed. Due to information presented by the leasing agent, I had intentions of paying the car off early, for no reason other than I could and to end a payment. I find out they were going to charge me $500 for doing that - after I had clearly asked about all related to fees 6 months prior. Once that was cleared up, they kept saying they would send a docusign so they could release the title to me. 2 months after signing the docusign, and multiple attempts at contacting my leasing agent, I still have no title and no response to my messages. read more

I leased a Jeep through D&M back in 2016. It started off great but quickly changed. Very forceful sales staff just trying to lock you in a lease and then they leave you high and dry after that. My Jeep was brand new and within a few months already started showing signs of trouble. The entire computer system was messing up, lights would turn off and not back on, the car would suddenly turn off. I tried speaking to my sales team member Kelly about it possibly being a lemon and she proceeded to just say "you got this" and offer no help in figuring out what to do with my brand new car I received from her. When she would contact me for mileage updates (on the car that was stuck in a shop for months) it was often a rude conversation about how I needed to "be more available to communicate when she needs to reach me." Fast forward a couple of years and many, many months of my car being in and out of shops - I was preparing to move across the country and needed to end the car lease. I did everything I could to get ahold of Kelly and other staff members to begin the process of paying off the lease and turning over the car and she ignored my calls, would answer, and then snap at me for calling. At one point I had to literally tell her that I wasn't going to tolerate her rudeness anymore and just wanted out. FINALLY after many attempts of calling she helped me turn over the car. My choice to lease was a good financial decision at the time, but if a friend asked me where they should lease a car in Texas - this would be the last place I'd tell them to look. Their goal is to get you in the car, lock you into a long term lease, and send you on your way. There's little to no care about the customer. read more

I've leased my last 5 vehicles and up until recently I would have been a customer for life. I dealt with the same person on most of the transactions, but I believe he retired. Fast forward, I'm into my current lease almost 4 years. I didn't drive the car much (8200 miles total on car) and decided that I would see what I owed and what I could get selling or trading. I inquired with several of the usual suspects and got a really good offer. I called D&M to get details about my lease buyout and was contacted by Alex. Alex had a client that was looking for the exact car and asked if I'd be willing to sell him (D&M) the car. I figured since the last experiences were good, I'd help him out and sell him the car. I was explained the process and told it would be a couple weeks (couple to me means 2 max) until I would get a check for the equity I had in the car. The sale or transaction of them selling happened pretty quick and the "couple" weeks clock started ticking. A little over three weeks past, nothing. I inquired multiple times, and received the standard, let me check and get back to you. Guess what, never a follow up. Only when I would inquire, would I get the same response. Wasn't until I started to get extremely frustrated that I got a response. Not from Alex, but a manager. Finally after over a month, did I have a check in hand. I'm not usually rude, but if you tell people you'll get back to them, get back to them. Sales 101! I thought the situation was closed and was happy to move on. I didn't plan on buying another car because I didn't need one. However, a work opportunity came up and turns out I would need something after all. I decided to give D&M another shot, since the previous experiences were good. I contacted Alex via text and told him. He asked what I was looking for and said he'd get back to me next day. I'll let you guess what happened? You got it, no response. I even waited a week thinking he was looking for cars. Guess with a short supply of inventory, they don't need the business. I did find the car I was looking for and purchased elsewhere. I'd advise you do the same, the customer service is not what it used to be. I've seen "management" respond to the one star reviews and can't wait to see the same canned response. They'll never get a spec of business from me, family or friends. " We make leasing easy at D and M!" The only thing you made easy was my decision to buy elsewhere. read more

My experience with D&M Leasing was terrible. Believe me, if you want to get screwed contact D&M Leasing. Their deals are worse that the worst car dealer experience. When asking for a detailed description of a deal, they will never give it to you. A lessee will never know where all those shady fees come from. They simply don't want to disclose how much the agent and D&M leasing are making on your lease. After all, is the pressure to close what makes you sign off on the contract. I've learned from this mistake. Don't do it! Amendment: It is fair to amend my review: The manager contacted me immediately in order to provide a detailed explanation of my contract. After going through numbers and fees, I was able to better understand my lease. True is that the agent and manager worked very hard to get my deal approved and get me the car I wanted.
