Today's Inneractions almost appears to be a monopoly business, that survives, by brining in folks straight from rehab, sending them to Inneractions Sober Living, and bringing them in for groups. Like a factory wheel. If you identify as LGBTQ+ -- Inneractions can not cater to you. Inneractions does not have the necessary tools or staff. Seek other support. In the beginning…read moreI needed to see him more often for medication management to find what dosage worked with me as well as get a handle on my severe depression. He's a great doctor and meets all the needs for stable patients that need a check-in every couple of months. He has a lot of insight and cares about his patients BUT you need to speak up about your problems. If something isn't working, tell him and he is happy to work with you to sort out the issue. He prescribed me the 3 main medications I use to treat my anxiety/depression and was very good about checking in on how they were working. I've also recently switched insurance providers without it being a problem to keep seeing him as he is covered by several different insurance policies. The new receptionist is super nice and I've never had a problem scheduling an appointment (either with her or the previous guy). I would continue to see Dr. Kamat if it weren't for his office being too far from my new apartment.

This was the first treatment that has completely pulled me out of not just a major depression episode, but also ongoing dysthymia. I am so grateful to know it exists so if/when I need, I will do it again. In a heartbeat. I have tried EVERYTHING. I'm a regular meditator, I exercise, I tried meds. Treatment at Dr Musher's office was wonderful. They always take you on time and you're in and out of there in less than 30 minutes - so I would go in the morning before work. It is quiet and peaceful and the technicians are kind and knowledgable. Some other perks were my insomnia subsided, I can fall asleep and stay asleep much better, and during treatment my migraines completely disappeared. 2. The Office Everyone here is SO nice, so warm and kind. I spoke to a few different TMS places and this was the right choice. Parking was easy. The office is updated and clean. And I cannot say again how nice and professional everyone is. 3. Dr Musher Dr Musher takes the time to visit with you, check your progress and then follow up after treatment. He is extremely clear in treatment possibilities and outcomes, and he works to help you understand your individual path and options. I highly recommend going to a TMS office like this where it is operated by a Psychiatrist. Other places just have consulting doctors but are not managed by them. I honestly could cry at how different my life became a few weeks after treatment ended. Night and day. When I researched it I wasn't sure, but saw that remission rates were higher than medication so I took a chance. The treatment helped me work through PTSD and wonderfully complemented my therapy. A friend of mine moved a couple years ago out to the west coast and sort of dropped off the grid, not to say anything but he didn't have the best influences around him. His family, shortly after some events moved, but they came back a couple years ago. And I'm so happy to say he's been good- openly he said he'd been going to therapy and it made him a lot more aware of his adult decisions, he still uses the program at least as far as I can see he's even taught me some things. He's been very straight edge (wearing that title with me proudly) and he's back to the East coast.

Corporate run facility…read morein a sterile environment that is geared solely toward treating teenagers and not adequately setup to support adults facing real life issues who are admitted as part of the entire insurance industry scam that takes place these days. Be sure to adequately read all of the fine print during your intake process, as their admitting staff is very sneaky in the ways they pressure you to sign with them. It was like I was being prosecuted by two defense attorneys when I was undergoing my initial intake procedures with CBH - formerly insight. Read the other reviews on insight and you will get a true feeling of how the facility is still poorly run today. Care quality can be vastly improved, as one of the therapist is not even licensed and still trying to acquire their mandated hours while working on the job and providing treatment. The level of therapy is self evident and not up to par with previous therapist I've worked with outside of CBH. The actual facility itself is cold, grey and white in color inside and is essentially a former concrete warehouse turned into an office/therapy setting. Epic failure if you ask me. Their are three windows to the outside world from the inside, there are clear enamel covered concrete floors, and do be fresh white paint slapped on the walls to give the fake appearance that the facility was recently remodeled. C'mon now, anyone can apply a bandaid over a wound to hide the truth the lies beneath. The doors and sound proofing between therapy rooms are so poor that they have to use "white noise machines" to mask your therapy sessions from other clients to abide by HIPPA rules! Just buy areal solid wooden door and use weather stripping and endure your office doors seal adequately and add some carpet to each room and they will be more sound proof. It doesn't take rocket science to see that the facility management is poorly run at CBH. Kaiser Permanente and UCLA have better run and managed IOP programs if you do your research. It is unfortunate as the staff really try their best; however they really are just reading off scripts quite often in group therapy sessions and it's apparent when you are enrolled in the program that there is plenty of room for major improvement in their IOP program overall. Corporate run facility that is in the money making business, not healthcare industry! There is no empirical evidence nor data that can back up their claims that they are truly interested in treating each of their clients uniquely difficult mental health diagnoses. Some of their external staff has even mentioned that the Van Nuys facility is lacking far behind in comparison to the Pasadena, Los Angeles, and Manhattan Beach or Redondo Beach locations. There is definitely vast amounts of room for improvement in this facility. For the amount of money they charge your insurance, you'll never be able to receive that same expected level of mental health care at CBH.

It was a long road of shame and confusion before I found a psychiatrist that was not afraid to use his full arsenal of medications. Yes. He is blunt and to the point. He has many clients. He is not a therapist. And yes, his staff is very busy so try not to not take it personal when they have a distraction or "tone" people seem to complain about. In fact, the receptionists are some of the most helpful, hardest workers I've seen in any medical office setting. Dr Ruttenberg is the best psychiatrist I have seen. Brain chemistry is NOT your fault. If you don't give up on leading a happy life, neither will he!

It caused aseptic meningitis which destroyed my quality of life and left me with brain damage. I lost everything because of what this medication did to me.
