We were given a tour, the room wasn't bad but it wasn't great, and the saleswoman kept finishing sentences in a way that prompted me to sign paperwork without seeing everything. I politely stopped responding to those questions about halfway through. Unlike most of the other apartments in the area (which had much better quality, at the same price) she couldn't vouch for the community because she lived somewhere else. She called out greetings to staff and residents and was ignored, probably by people who were scared of her. I was looking for the cheapest apartment in town and of the six that had available rooms, the other five were better furnished and finished, more hospitable, and for about the same price.

The lease states I can have two parking spots. When I got home from work the other night, my second car was gone. Turns out the property manager, Michaela Rizzo, made the call to have my car towed without giving me any notice. The car is registered to my apartment and parked legally. She said it was "deemed inoperable" because of a flat tire. Emerson Isles is unable to provide pictures of a note they say they put on the car warning me of a tow. I look at the car every day, and never saw said note. Instead of taking two minutes to call me, email me or post a sign on my door, they decided to take the lazy way out and just tow it. I am extremely disappointed for the lack of transparency they have shown and general lack of interest in the problem they have caused for me. I'm told I will not be able to speak to a manager for at least another week as she is "working from another office". I will be ending my lease and moving out in January. I do not recommend leasing from Emerson Isles or dealing with them. I still can not even find out where my car is and this will cost me a lot of money. I am getting my attorney involved.

So, they get their money from your deposit and charge ridiculous amounts so you don't get it back. We paid $2795.00 and we were sent a check for $10.00. This rental company is out to make as much money as they can, and screw the renters. Please make sure to read every fine print on your lease. They do NOT CARE about anyone but their growth in revenue. Beware. And the outside "realtor" people are extremely rude and condescending. I had a sink that fell into the cabinet below cracking the garbage disposal which I didn't know however the technician knew it because he was under the cabinet when he was replacing the sink and putting it back in place I didn't find out this fun fact until after the fact several weeks later later I end up with a horrible stench in my house only to locate it came from under the sink where the garbage disposal was cracked and smelled terrible that the technician saw he was under the cabinet when he replaced the sink . I began to see roaches crawling out from under the sink from behind the water heater that he just replaced it was just terrible and nasty. After I request it for the pest control to come out every weekend spray until these roaches were going out of my house I was told after a couple weeks he couldn't come anymore bye the pest control the office felt like it was too many chemicals so I had to get my own chemicals to complete the job and get these roaches out of my house it took a couple months but I did it which is insane. They left me hanging and this situation creating roaches (lack of accountability.) Nasty neighbors who have bad living habits creating roaches.
