I politely stopped responding to those questions about halfway through. Unlike most of the other apartments in the area (which had much better quality, at the same price) she couldn't vouch for the community because she lived somewhere else. She called out greetings to staff and residents and was ignored, probably by people who were scared of her. I was looking for the cheapest apartment in town and of the six that had available rooms, the other five were better furnished and finished, more hospitable, and for about the same price.

The lease states I can have two parking spots. When I got home from work the other night, my second car was gone. Turns out the property manager, Michaela Rizzo, made the call to have my car towed without giving me any notice. The car is registered to my apartment and parked legally. She said it was "deemed inoperable" because of a flat tire. Emerson Isles is unable to provide pictures of a note they say they put on the car warning me of a tow. I look at the car every day, and never saw said note. Instead of taking two minutes to call me, email me or post a sign on my door, they decided to take the lazy way out and just tow it. I am extremely disappointed for the lack of transparency they have shown and general lack of interest in the problem they have caused for me. I'm told I will not be able to speak to a manager for at least another week as she is "working from another office". I will be ending my lease and moving out in January. I do not recommend leasing from Emerson Isles or dealing with them. I still can not even find out where my car is and this will cost me a lot of money. I am getting my attorney involved.

The old water heater with the rusty water all in the bottom was left as if by the maintenance manager for almost 2 weeks the time it took to get this water heater replaced I didn't feel comfortable with that I sprayed liquid comment all around in the water and stuck old raggedy rags that I can throw away in there set them on there to cover this water. I had a sink that fell into the cabinet below cracking the garbage disposal which I didn't know however the technician knew it because he was under the cabinet when he was replacing the sink and putting it back in place I didn't find out this fun fact until after the fact several weeks later later I end up with a horrible stench in my house only to locate it came from under the sink where the garbage disposal was cracked and smelled terrible that the technician saw he was under the cabinet when he replaced the sink . I began to see roaches crawling out from under the sink from behind the water heater that he just replaced it was just terrible and nasty. After I request it for the pest control to come out every weekend spray until these roaches were going out of my house I was told after a couple weeks he couldn't come anymore bye the pest control the office felt like it was too many chemicals so I had to get my own chemicals to complete the job and get these roaches out of my house it took a couple months but I did it which is insane. They left me hanging and this situation creating roaches (lack of accountability.) Nasty neighbors who have bad living habits creating roaches. No one follows the rules including the management that runs the property they simply don't care. Inadequate parking only the the leaseholders can have a decal for their car, otherwise you park out there at your own risk . Limited visitor parking can only be used 14 days out of 365 per car per year. And they will tow your car at your expense due to their inadequate parking. Cars used to park in the streets in front of the garages and in the back of other cars parked and cars have been sideswiped hit and run on this property Multiple times. I find out for my Jamaican boyfriend this is an apartment over the years where lots of Lots of immigrants move in here from Jamaica Africa Mexico but these apartments is actually like it's like a little Mexico. They go through employees left and right and will not respond to emails or phone calls. I put in several requests for work and no one would call me or respond. Eventually, Kevin contacted me and I was able to get somewhere. The others around there are miserable to deal with. Again, avoid dealing with these crooks. Edited: Kevin said he was calling me right now at around 7:30. It's now 9:20 and I haven't gotten that call.... The review is accurate and his explanations are ridiculous and invalid at best. If we can come to some sort of resolution about the charges for paint and nail holes, and charging me for yard maintenance which was done the day before inspection, and much more, then I may edit or even remove, but as of now, I dont see anything happening to resolve these issues. I never said I expect all of it back. I agreed on a couple of charges, IE diagnosis of an electrical issue, but never agreed for AIM to send a licensed electrician to change light bulbs and charging me $400. If these bills are from AIM's vendors, they should reevaluate the people they hire to do work because charging me $250 for mowing and trimming the yard is utterly ridiculous. Update: after much back and forth with AIM, they communicated with the homeowner, and we came to some resolution. They removed a handful of the very egregious and erroneous charges that they were trying to hit me with. My original deposit was $2950, and they were taking about half of it to cover those egregious charges until we settled. In the end, they returned about $2100 of the deposit after I agreed to some concessions. Had they not worked to resolve the matter, my original review would not have been updated. Personally, I know they manage a lot of properties, so if you're looking for a decent rental, you can check them out and see some decent homes if your budget allows. I stand by my honest review of the management at AIM, but after this resolution, I am willing to say they tried to meet me in the middle and for that, I'm thankful. It wasn't about the money for me. It was about the situation. I left this house in near perfect condition. I hung 1 tv on a wall, and 8 pictures throughout. Just know if you hang a tv, you better be able to patch the holes and touch up the paint. I also kept the yard maintained up until the day before inspection. I paid a landscaper to handle it so I never had to even think about it. So I didn't agree with those charges for yard maintenance. There was a patch of dead grass behind the patio which was caused by rainwater sitting in it for very long periods without drying up. It puddled there. Not my responsibility, but they said it was. We came to terms on that charge as well. Long winded rant over. I got some resolution.
