One of the movers was disrespectful and lazy. I had to confront him and tell him that I noticed he wasn't doing much and was actively wasting time. I had to ask him to do his job which was uncomfortable. The company convinced me that I needed 3 movers, however, only 2 of them actually did work so I paid for the 3rd for no reason. However, my experience with YSP has been an exception to the latter. Ever since the first phone call when I set up my first two units with YSP, the staff has been exceptional in their help, advice and flexibility. I am now renting unit number five from them in my preparation to move abroad once again. They have always acted in ways that serve my best interests rather than only being concerned with their own needs as I have found other storage facilities often do. They are willing to go the extra mile to insure I want to use continue to use their facility. In my history with other storage facilities, the reverse of this attitude has often been my experience with the facility operators usually threatening the fact that they have waiting lists, yada, yada, yada. Almost forgot to mention that payments are done online and are easy to make. You really won't regret using Your Storage Place. Elray and Bill are tops in customer service and satisfaction. Filed a complaint with Texas DMV…read more I hired Swift Movers LLC for a move in San Antonio on February 20, 2026. During the move, their crew wrapped and transported my 55-inch Samsung television, which was fully functional prior to the move. After unwrapping and powering it on at my new residence, I discovered severe panel damage, including cracking and vertical line distortion, ruining the TV. We observed the crew drop a plastic box containing personal belongings and drop our mattress, demonstrating careless handling practices. I booked the Basic Move option and was informed verbally that damage claims are considered on a case-by-case basis. Despite this, my claim for replacement value was formally denied, citing lack of a specialty TV box and basic coverage. Attached are photos of the damaged television. Sharing my negative experience so others know what to expect.
