Ripped off on a order and refused to help. Lost $750 approximately from these people.

I would say come in take a look and walk out with something for your home or next project. You will also be help out such a cool nonprofit. Did you know Habitat sells homes too? I walked into there office lobby next door to the store and picked up an application for my brother.

This place is hard to rate. They have a couple of outlets - one on S Probandt, and one on Walzam…read moreRd. Probandt is an old warehouse and the goods are presented in a commensurate fashion, making it kind of a dump to go to. BUT it is very large and they have a lot of items. The Walzam Rd location is smaller, more store-like and a lot cleaner. Selection is similar but my impression is of smaller quantities and more limited selection. They both carry a wide range of construction and household materials, whether reclaimed from remodels or demolitions, or closeouts, seconds and scratch-and-dent. They also have a lot of paints, much of which is "evolve", a brand that keeps excess project or returned paint from being senselessly dumped in landfills. Prices are better than the building materials stores, but you still need to know what a good price is, as some of the smaller household goods can be found for less elsewhere (mainly online). But bargains are to be found if you don't mind spending time browsing. I suggest coming prepared with a complete list of what you might need, so you come away with what you really want at a price that suits you. All of that said, remember that this is a thrift store for Habitat for Humanity, a very good organization that makes affordable housing available for low income people. So anything you buy supports a great cause. I would have rated this 3-stars, but the nature of what their main focus is caused me to make it 4-stars since the dollars you spend here contributes to helping people in need.

I was greeted by a very nice woman who was an employee there her name was Diana she was very helpful and the owner Alejandra was very nice and helpful as well. I fell in love with these hand painted portraits that they had . Unfortunately they didn't have one that was for my job but amazingly the owner took down my name and number after asking me what I had wanted and even offered if I wanted certain colors on it. Not even a full week passed by and they called to tell me my portrait was in. I was very impressed with the timely manner they got it to me and overall the service the provided . After coming to pick it up I also bought a very nice and cute nativity scene. I made sure to tell them I'd be back very soon maybe to even order 1 or 2 more portraits for my favorite coworkers haha! Would recommend to stop by and look at their neat merchandise.

The owner doesn't answer or return calls or provide a completion date. Due to our special circumstances, the owner told a sub-contractor that he needed to keep the cost as low as possible and then he passed a 64% mark-up on the cabinets to me. I cannot advise strongly enough to stay away from this company.

Tons of information, lots of explanation about why you should use one product over another, very hands on, and walks through the whole process from start to finish. It is a class with a focus on business/pro-level screen printing, NOT hobbyist stuff so the information is not simply a generic "how to" but a "how to" with equipment and supplies that would make the most sense in a professional setting. THE STORE seems oriented toward professional artists and crafters, less toward hobbyists. There were multiple sections that really surprised me in terms of selection - I haven't seen some of that kind of supply on hand outside of specialty shops I've visited in other large cities. Specifically, the selection of vinyl, HTC, etc for shirts and jerseys was outstanding. The screen printing supplies (ink and chem selection) and equipment (presses, tools, etc) were impressive. And the quality and variation in fine painting was great, as well as the multiple options for easels, art tables, brushes, etc. Finally, I got the impression that this is absolutely the kind of place that would be able and willing to order supplies or equipment on request, which is gold. *Really valuable resource to the regional arts community.*
