This office is a mess. They've accepted way too many appointments, so I can't even get a six-month appointment anymore, and haven't for a while. Bad management. I've had to wait 8 months the last few times, and it is very aggravating. I wanted to get something fixed, and I was going to have to wait a long time too. How do they even fill cavities when they find them? When I was just there, my gums were inflamed, which is uncommon for me, but my cleanings have been spaced out too much. When I complained about this to the receptionist, she was unbelievably rude, sarcastic, and dismissive of me. It was completely unprofessional, and I'm never going back. read more

Scott and his staff are unfailingly professional and friendly. They greet you by name with a big smile when you walk in. Scott has a great bedside manner and does great work. When I started coming here if you years ago, I hadn't been to the dentist in 15 years. Scott was able to start filling my cavities and stop the degeneration that was taking place. I just finished another visit and nothing is getting worse, which is impressive considering many years of not getting Dental Care. Scott's hygenists are great at their jobs as well. The office is a relaxing environment with beautiful views. I'd give 10 stars if I could! My wife and I moved to Tacoma but we will continue to come back to Silverdale to see Dr Scott! read more

Dr. Scott and his staff offer the most professional and compassionate care - I can happily state that we may have cured my last vestiges of dental phobia. The online prompts and follow up are amazing and convenient and scheduling is a breeze. The work I have had done is excellent. I first came to Dr. Stewart seeking local dentistry for my aged mother-in-law. The care she received caused me to change our family's care over to him. I have now added my equally aged father to their list of clients. I share these details because it means so much to go to an office where they go the extra mile in such a gracious way to provide the highest level of care and respect to those who may not be in the most convenient stage of life. Dr. Stewart is Great! I adore his new office staff, hygienists and beautiful new office. Love the flexible arrangements that can be made when something comes up. Family friendly environment, clean and feels really safe. I will go here as long as I am able. It has always been a positive experience. I have been there for about 4 years. Professional, caring, detail-oriented, funny (a must in this profession, right?!), accommodating, takes emergencies seriously and gets you in straight away, explains procedures in terms you can easily understand...I can't say enough good things about this Dentist AND his staff. It's been years since I've gone to this practice but I had such a bad experience with Dr. Stewart my whole family actually ended up switching dentists! I had a chipped tooth before my sisters wedding I needed fixed and it was really hard to get scheduled. Got an appointment, he patched up my tooth so I had a great smile during the wedding. Unfortunately not even 2 weeks later the area he patched up chipped completely fell off in one big chunk! I noticed a few of my favorite hygienists were leaving so I called around a switched dentists. Wouldn't you know it the hygienist that left Dr. Stewart's practice ended up at the same dentist I did!! I have been going to Dr Stewart for about 5 years and never had a problem with his work, or the nice women at the front desk (Mary). I hadn't seen him for about 6 months and was due for a teeth cleaning and I had chipped a tooth. Since I had seen him last he moved into a new, larger office and hired several new office staff. I am still pleased with both Dr. Stewart and Jackie's(who always cleans my teeth) performance, they were kind and thorough. However this women (unfortunately I didn't catch her name) at the front desk was rude, cold, and completely unhelpful. She had no interest in communicating with anyone and seems to be on a power trip. I hope they fire her. In the mean time I will be finding a new dentist. I should mention that I waited at least 30 minutes after getting my teeth cleaned to see the dentist and I was perfectly calm and ok with it. I was no ok with being treated like a dirt bag by that women. The rest of the office staff actually wanted to help me and were engaging the dentist and attempting to problem solve. read more

As a rule, I have historically hated going to the dentist. 20 years of military dental care left me scarred. The first few years in civilian life didn't improve my opinion. Going to the dentist was torture as they poked and probed with little regard to personal comfort. The first civilian dentist I visited confirmed to me that dentists were just a sadistic bunch, like Steve Martin in "Little Shop of Horrors." My first visit to Dr. Stewart's office changed that. I was shocked after the initial exam when I asked them when they were going to probe for bone loss. They said they did already. Really? I didn't even notice. The last dentist I visited was not so subtle. I knew every time he stabbed me with the gum probe. I left Dr. Stewart's office thinking, OK, that wasn't so bad. After several years with Dr. Stewart, my opinion about dentists has changed. There are great ones who care about their patient's comfort. Scott Stewart is one of those. I can't imagine going anywhere else. He and his staff are fabulous. They are warm, welcoming, friendly and above all, they care about your comfort. I can't recommend them enough. read more

I was in the office about a month ago when the other person that posted a review was in and I have to totally disagree with the negative review. That afternoon, I had just rounded the corner from the treatment area to head to the front desk to leave. That's when I heard the lady that posted the review yelling and swearing at someone on her cell phone. When I heard the patient saying the f-word to whoever was on the phone with her, I stopped and stayed in the back hallway until she calmed down. Dr. Stewart's front office staff were being professional and doing everything they could to get her to quiet down, take care of what she needed, and get her on her way. Even though this lady didn't deserve any respect, the staff was treating her fairly. Once the lady left, I made my way to the front and was shocked to realized that not only was this patient yelling and swearing in front of the staff that didn't deserve to hear her vulgarness, but she did all of this in front of Dr. Stewart's children that were in the office visiting on their spring vacation. Dr. Stewart's front office staff is so nice and always goes to great lengths to research the complex details of insurance benefits. He and his clinical staff do excellent work and we are very happy to be patients there. Even though they did move to a beautiful new office, they haven't hired anyone new in about a year and a half and most of their staff have been there since Dr. Taylor's time. Although I imagine since they are getting many new patients with their new place, they'll have to hire someone new soon to help. It's a great dental office! read more
