After contacting Mark he came out right on time at 4:00. He quickly measured the windows and gave me feedback on what he suggested for the home. Mark was very professional, friendly, and knew what he was doing! My wife and I were very happy with the quote and booked him on the spot. We cancelled the other appointments we had for blind quotes. It took about 5-6 weeks for the blinds to come in. Our appointment was scheduled for 2:00 on a Friday. Kyle and Jared showed up promptly at 2:00. They were very detailed with the installation. I have never had someone do work on our house and clean up so well after themselves. The blinds were installed perfectly and quickly. It was exactly what my wife and I were picturing. My wife's exact quote was "This is life changing." I will definitely be recommending Mark and team to friends and family. What a great experience that exceeds my expectations. P.S. - The experience was so good that this forced me to write my first Yelp review.

The edges crack when clicking together. However, the store refused to let us return for a full refund. Their policy is to charge a 25% restocking fee even though there was a manufacturing defect. Even in our case where everyone agreed it was defective the "regional manager" still refused to refund. So we are out 25% and the money it cost to pay our installers. They also had a customer service rep call us per their policy from overseas who had no idea about our case and also refused to refund our 25% fee. I'm assuming they plan to resell this defective product since we had to pay for "restocking" which seems criminal. I have never encountered a store with such a horrible policy and negligent upper management. We plan to sue them for the 25% they owe us because that is only fair.

Amanda came out and measured everything. Seeing the space in the sun room she made suggestions that not only would save us money but enhanced the space. A few weeks later (after holiday shutdown) Jeff came out and installed them. He is a pleasure to have in our home and did the installation quickly and efficiently. The wall of shutters we have now in our sun room (which we thought may make the room seem smaller and confining) are breathtaking and it gives us the chance to get the feeling of being in a tree house when we want to and to be cozy when we don't. If you are looking for shutters, shades or window treatments of any kind please call Acadia first and then you'll be able to judge the difference between them and any other company yourself.

This is a brand new home, so dealing with repeated garage door issues from the start was already…read morefrustrating. Unfortunately, the experience working with Southern Fireplace made it worse. From the original walkthrough, the main garage door did not close properly. A technician came out and "adjusted the sensors," which temporarily fixed it. A few weeks later, the smaller garage door had the same issue and required another adjustment. Then the problem returned again with the main door. The issue was eventually resolved, but only after three separate visits where they continued tightening and adjusting the sensors. While it did get fixed, it took far too long and did not feel like a thorough or proactive diagnosis, especially for a brand new home. The biggest issue, however, was my interaction with Heather. She stated that if the issue persisted after replacement, any additional work would be billable. Beyond that, her communication was extremely unprofessional. I was repeatedly talked over during the conversation, and at one point she abruptly said she had to go and rushed me off the phone. The tone was dismissive and not customer-focused at all. Frankly, based on this experience, Heather should not be in a customer-facing role. Now, we are dealing with a separate issue with our pilot light. They have already come out once, but given the prior experience, especially the way communication was handled, I have been hesitant to reach out again, even though the home is still under warranty. While the garage door issue was eventually fixed, the overall experience, particularly the lack of professionalism in communication, left a very negative impression. If you have a choice, I would recommend going somewhere else, unless you are comfortable being talked to and treated in a condescending manner by their staff.
