I really wanted to play a slideshow on the screens and my own playlist and they went above and beyond helping me get it all set up! The food was also delicious - a lot of guests were pleasantly surprised since you never know with bars but Theory crushed it! Such a great event space, would highly recommend for others.

I think there were some kind of corporate happy hour happening in the back, but a friend and myself just came in for quick drinks. I usually don't drink on the weekdays, so I ended up just getting an iced tea and him a tequila soda, but because I don't drink, we decided to get an appetizer and we browsed the menu for a minute and ended up splitting the Parmesan chicken egg rolls. Truthfully, I really just wanted to see what that would entail because it seemed a little disgusting or maybe even some kind of high-food, but to my surprise, it was actually a really crispy skinned pizza roll. I'm pretty sure it had been previously frozen, but in that moment- served with a side of marinara, I didn't really care. It was full of gooey melted mozzarella cheese and almost like a breaded chicken nugget center. Pretty decent as far as bar food goes. They also had crab rangoon to which I thought, "hmm are they doing a little too much?!" I'm sure drunk me would have gotten them years ago so what can ya do. Overall, quite a positive experience. The bartender was really sweet and everything wasn't super expensive. I've been in the neighborhood for such a long time, but I've actually never been here and I'm glad I came on a night that it wasn't chaotic.

I enjoyed the sports bar vibe with nicer food. My favorite dish was the Wagyu burger, but the wings were a close second. They were fried perfectly and the honey habanero was drizzled over them, creating a lovely depth of flavor - especially with their homemade ranch. The Caesar salad was good, but tasted a little like it had the cheap Parmesan on it from the can. The short ribs were also tasty, but a bit on the chewier side than I would have liked. They do have a few mocktail options for $8 each (very affordable). I really enjoyed my cucumber mocktail! Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Pilsen!

Since I was looking for something more casual, this place came up as a suggestion online. It's a small bar and I didn't notice a sign out front that had the restaurant name, that's something maybe they should consider. But overall, it appeared to be newly renovated, and had all of the Chicago sports teams decor throughout which I liked. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a Black owned bar, which was another plus for me. On Mondays, they have $10 wings, and it's a pretty good deal because they give you really nice sized wings. My only critique is that the wings themselves weren't seasoned so the sauce had to do a lot of of the heavy lifting for flavor. But the chicken was cooked perfectly! Lastly the other small issue I had was that it was freezing cold in the bar. I'm not sure if it's due to insulation or because of the type of windows they had installed, but it was absolutely freezing and that almost took away from the experience, nonetheless, this is certainly a place that I would try again during the warmer months.

We made a reservation at Over/Under. When we arrived, there weren't a lot of people yet and we got seated quickly at a table already set up with our name on it and lots of fun swag. By the time the game was starting, it was packed. TV's lined the walls all the way around so every table was a good table. No one blocked our view. We each received 5 drink tickets and 2 meal tickets. In addition to the fact that we wiped the floor with Kansas, we met some really nice fans from Chicago. They made our visit so much fun, filled with endless laughter and a great time. It was a nice mix of young and older folks like us and the young people were so respectful and friendly. It truly was a pleasant surprise. They gave us their bar stools with backs so that we would be comfortable. I don't know if Steven David, who we also met there works for the bar but he was funny as all get out. He says he's a comedian so if you're in Chicago, look for him at a comedy club. The owners were very friendly and we appreciated chatting with them too. We didn't get to our second meal or order half of our drinks bc we were having such a good time so we gave them away. The pretzels were good and nachos weren't bad. Edible. They also offered free opps for prizes and you could also buy tickets to win prizes. Overall, we really enjoyed our time. Nice neighborhood bar feel, surrounded by great humans, including the owners.

My brother and I tried a few menu items, but our favorites were definitely the wings with the Dragon sauce (sweet chili, sesame, soy and ginger) and the sautéed shrimp with potatoes. Be sure to try their cocktail called "Uncut Gem" and check out the Red Zone room! Enjoy!

I want to preface my review with the positives, Londyn was our server & was truly so kind, thorough, and friendly. The restaurant itself is clean & all tables have clear views of the TVs on game days. Now for the room for improvement- the food was very underwhelming. Being from the Chicago area previously, I regularly advocate for the Chicago food scene, and this unfortunately did not meet those standards. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, buffalo cauliflower, wings, and sesame ginger salad: -Brussel sprouts: tasted like they weren't seasoned just air fried and drenched in balsamic dressing -Buffalo cauliflower: soggy, unseasoned, runny buffalo sauce -Wings: PERFECTLY CRISPY, but no flavor (we ordered lemon pepper & buffalo) -Sesame ginger salad: sloppy mix of vegetables tossed in an overly sweet sauce with no sesame or ginger flavor in sight If you're not going to eat, this is probably a great spot, but from a food standpoint, there is room for improvement.

It was over March Madness, so there were always men or women's games on the televisions. Besides being a happening place, there was also decent food. Upon our check-in, we even received complimentary bubbles as a welcome drink in the Game Room. For one of our dinners, we decided to enjoy some Game Room food while I taught my friend how to play chess. We ordered a delicious dish of WSC Cheese Sticks (made with Wisconsin brick cheese and marinara). We then each ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap, consisting of crispy chicken, romaine lettuce, parmigiano Reggiano, and house chips. We both upgraded our chips to French fries. I thought the food was good (not excellent but not bland like other reviews stated). The best part of the experience is the vibe in the space. There were also protests in the area earlier in the day so many of the non-hotel guests in the Game Room were from that (as we could tell from the signs they had with them). Even if you go to the Game Room website (https://www.gameroomchi.com), you're in for some fun just getting into the website. On their website are upcoming events (like karaoke), details on booking private events, menus, and more. They serve their all day menu from 11 AM to close daily. Their hours are Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 11 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 1 AM (kitchen closes at 11 PM), and Sunday from 11 AM to 9 PM. There is also Happy Hour on weekdays from 3 PM to 5 PM, which include $10 wings, Old Style combos, and half off pitchers. While there were more exciting places to be in Chicago, for a hotel guest or someone in the area, this was a fun place to hang out, grab a bite, play some board games, and watch some games on TV. Certainly recommend it!

That usually was a more heated rivalry when Angel Reese was playing against Caitlin Clark, but after the Sophie Cunningham/Carrington situation, this was certainly heated! But this is SO not about that. I had wanted to come here for a while, but it is very far from where I am; I was able to coordinate a visit to Market Days later, so it worked out. We arrived in time to watch some of the Women's professional baseball game in Springfield as well. We took our seats at a table with chairs near some of the many tvs. (I did not want to do the long bench, it did not look comfortable). There were no waitstaff walking around, ordering was through the bar, and water was in a big Igloo container. We knew in advance there was no food, so we brought our own. We found out later they have a microwave when we smelled popcorn! Good to know for next time. There was a slight glitch with the tvs; at some point, Men's Golf was on! Of course they changed it up asap. We were hoping to watch part of the WNBA and the Women's baseball at the same time on the 2 tvs near our table, but they only moved it to one tv that we had to crane to see. I get one has to go with what is popular, but the tv with the baseball did not have great reception. The drinks were good, I got sparkling wine and beer. My party got vodka drinks; the bathrooms are both gender neutral of course, with funky red or green lights, as well as a disco ball! That may be a bit much for some of us with vision problems or the color blind? They encourage one to take bathroom selfies with an Instagram handle on the mirror! That's..interesting. I loved the free feminine hygiene products as well, good looking out! I went to the patio to take pictures. There was not tv out there, but I am not sure if they move one there when there is overflow, or if it's just a socializing space away from tvs. It's nice, but the view is of other houses and parking lots. The bartenders were efficient and good, I may go back for WNBA semi finals or finals, or maybe a 'regular' women's sports occasion. We were fortunate that the crowd was moderate so service was good, but I worry if it becomes hectic when it gets super busy.
