Beautiful and evolving space! The center's got a cooled indoor component and a big outdoor area…read morewith a variety of plants and seating areas. It flows into a field of green grass, which tends to be active more for their bigger events. Be prepared to be shoeless inside or have earthy zones outside (comfortable, easy off shoes suggested). On many occasions there's live music going in the back. You can tell a lot of positive love, care, and energy went into creating a spiritual environment intended for people to come together and heal / grow as individuals as well as a collective. I've visited a few times with friends for a range of mindful events, including: music nights, spiritual comedy, mastering mindfulness / energy workshops, and even some foodie events! Still, I've missed others like yoga and sound healing. One of their more interactive sessions is the ecstatic playground, where a lot of people from all different backgrounds, creeds, and ages are encouraged to move about and rediscover their childhood like energies and embrace it in adulthood. In sum, I find the center to have a lot of going on and something for everyone. Go with an open mind. Not everything may be for you, nor is it meant to be! It's a great place to try a variety of mindful type experiences. I don't find the vibe to be pushy, so be comfortable in your skin/ boundaries and respectful to others and their experience; I'm sure you'll receive the same treatment and respect in return. On events that have food, there is more vegan and juice options. Street parking is normally available, but if you live close enough, ride share may make sense. The surrounding area may seem rougher than the energy found inside.

Facilitators have different styles and offer a nice mix of experiences. There is an option to become a member which is great if you plan to attend frequently, you will get discounts for all events. Kundalini yoga is every Monday so this is a great opportunity to incorporate as part of your regular practice. The membership also gives you access to daily online sessions that you can watch live or at your own convenience. Most events are at the Modern Om bungalow but they also have some at Faena hotel in Miami Beach. The bungalow is located in the Upper Buena Vista mall next to restaurants and shops and parking is available on the street using the pay to park app. I would recommend trying a few events and consider becoming a member!

Unfortunately there is a way to actually test these to see if they actually protect and heal like they say they do. You can actually do it with an OHM meter and check the resistance. Unfortunately a lot of times half of it will be bad and half will probably be good. What I found of the stuff that I bought from modern om is that it is all garbage. It is not elite shungite with the healing properties if it were it would have zero resistance. I'm very disappointed and I will no longer shop here. Don't recommend unless you want cool looking jewelry that's not special

What a life changing experience! I decided to book a last minute yoga class with my bestie today…read moreand stumbled upon Agni Yoga. My friend had heard great things about the place, so we decided to check it out for ourselves. We took the 6:30 PM Deep Love Yin class, and wow, I was in for a surprise. This 60 minute Yin yoga session was restorative, healing, meditative, and truly beautiful. I left feeling completely recharged and ready to tackle the week ahead. The class was led by three different instructors, with each segment focusing on different stretches, movements, and poses. It felt like time stood still, but in the best way helping me reconnect with my body. The background sounds were incredibly soothing, adding to the overall serene atmosphere. I absolutely loved the experience and can't wait to return!

The best sound bath experience you will have…read more My partner found Agni Miami on Class Pass a few years ago and both of us decided to try their Monday night sound bath class together. After completing one session, I was hooked on the healing journey. Every Monday night for as many Monday's as I could, you would find me at Agni Miami for their 7:45 pm sound bath class. I've been making my way back as of late. Many revelations, lots of healing, and nights of relaxation came from these sound bath classes led by Vivi and Carrie. I am forever grateful. To participate is quite easy, sign up for a class, and come prepared with your mat, an open mind, and your body. That's all! Viví and Carrie will do the rest to guide you. I highly recommend to bring your own cushions for under your head or knees as you lie still on your mat for the whole session. If you're like me, a little support goes a long way. They do offer cushions for free at the studio, but depending on how full the class is they may run out. The class environment is usually pretty warm--come comfortable and light. Parking is a breeze--just use the side parking lot attached to shopping center. I also highly recommend arriving a few minutes early not only to get a good spot in the studio, but so as not to interrupt the session once it starts. Also--this is the perfect time to detach from your phone! Turn it off completely and even venture to store it in the closets at the end of the studio. What I really appreciate about this sound bath experience in particular, are the wise words of connection and relatability that Viví always shares to start and to end. She helps to set the intention and prompts participants to get in the right frame of mind. Plus, the studio as you'll see from the photos gives a beautiful healing ambiance. Now to be completely fair, I know my review is revolving around their Sound Bath--that's because I personally haven't taken a yoga class with them as I haven't made the leap to do yoga yet. But I know many who LOVE to take class there. Still, I found it important to review because even if you drop in just like me, it may open you up to explore more of their classes! Are you not convinced yet? Agni Miami is a must try!

As for the workout...totally worth it, you'll feel so accomplished after!! Now for the "could use improvement" stuff... the instructor was kind of rude... not even what she said, but like how she said it. She'd correct your form like she was annoyed. Also, it's hard to hear her over the music, so everyone ends up just looking around at each other to figure out what to do. And parking... definitely give yourself extra time to find a spot because it's a bit of a hassle.

I have done Pilates, and barre for some time but never in a heated room. Not only was the playlist great but the guidance and correction from the instructor was well appreciated. I am not from the area and I found Starr Hawkins social media page earlier in the year through exercise posts. I am glad I did. The same radiating energy she shows on her page also comes through in her class. I look forward to getting the chance to take another one of her classes. Things to note- there's one bathroom and one shower and they are in the same room. Rental of a mat and a towel are available for $6. The staff at the front was very helpful and clear as it was my first time there. I chose a space in the back but I then realized I was next to the speaker so I probably will choose a space in the front. Also note since this is popular class and studio I would recommend you arrive early. I arrived about 40 mins before class and I have the option to choose wherever I wanted. As starting time got closer people rushed in to get a space in the front to take their videos and photos before class started.
