They had a huge selection of gently used kids' clothes, toys, shoes, and baby gear at prices that were much better than buying new. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The manager I assume is very hateful! I understand store policy, since my husband dropped off for me. But to tell me I can't get my items back, even when I said just give me it all back & don't give me the money. Then to tell me you can have your things, but you won't be allowed back into the store is insane. I'm already in contact with corporate. And having the cameras being pulled up (I'm hoping there is camera footage). She embrassed me in front of everyone! And I'm so hurt over this interaction with this hateful woman! No lady who acts this way should be working around children /children's items etc! I shop in here all the time, and sell. Everytime I've ever come across her, she's hateful. I waited hours for my items to be looked through. Drove all the way from Aubrey. Then for her to tell me I can't have my items because my HUSBAND MY HUSBANDDDDDDD DROPPED THEM OFF FOR ME. I called them to ask if they are accepting toddler bikes right now. She said, "sure, we will look at them!" I responded, "great". So we drove that way in traffic for 30 min with a whole bunch of great bikes. My husband and I carried them all in to the front desk. She simply said, "we stop accepting an hour before closing" and went right back to talking to her coworker. Not an apology or anything. I understand rules but it would have been nice if she mentioned that on the phone or acted even slightly kind in person. read more

The cashiers are so rude! I asked if they'd take our toy kitchen before bringing it in. They said "we'd have to see it", so my MIL with MS and me with fibromyalgia struggled to bring it in by ourselves, and they right away deny it for one little crack. They don't take "broken" toys. I get it. TELL ME THAT BEFORE WE BRING IT IN! Then in the EMPTY store, they say it's a 4 hour wait and we will not be notified. Horrible service. Then I see a used dress that costs 5 bucks brand new they're selling it for 5.50. Horrible service, horrible prices... read more

I've sold things here and shopped. Every time it has been a nice experience. Sometimes I think the offer is low but that's business.

Called and asked how late they sell till and she said an hour before close. I walked in with 3 tubs and they told me I could only have 2 tubs. Could have told me that when I called. I brought the other tub back a week later and she said that the clothes could not be piled high, which they weren't, maybe a few shirts that were above the rim of the tub. I had amazing clothes that were washed and folded and she was so rude so I left. I believe she was the manager. Plus it was a 4 hour wait, really!! I will never go back. Dang I hadnt come here in over a year because I felt that the male on staff was unfair in pricing. Today I decided to give it another go. I brought in sequin skirt that had been worn once about 16 of them. And tap shoes 6 pair. I had more tap shoes but they didn't take them bc of normal wear and tear. Their kids ones that hadn't been really worn. They gave me $20. 62 like maybe .65 for each skirt. I was truly dissatisfied. I hate that they never make eye contact with you when you're selling because they're about to screw you. If your buying from this location as far as items they have the selection is really well. But I was just really unhappy with the unfair price given. I would NOT recommend you sell your things here. Just feel like its not a happy environment. That's all. read more

Terrible experience. I came in 10 minutes after they opened to drop off a small bucket of baby clothes (mostly 3 months with some newborn) all freshly washed , folded with 0 stains. They told me it would be an hour to an hour & half before they would call me but they never gave me a pink slip like the other locations have. Three hours went by and I still hadn't heard anything , I walk in to see my stuff just sitting on the shelf. They went through it hours ago and just "forgot" to call me . After waiting around for those 3 hours , they inform me that they passed on all of my items because they don't buy newborn or 0-3 months or bibs. (There was one bib in the entire box) When their website states the buy from Preemie to Youth sizes. Then she also told me that there was a lot of stains when there was literally none on any items. Really disappointing that my time was wasted. Check out the Plano location , heard they are way better. read more

Bought a lillebaby carrier. Appeared new in box, but as it was boxed up and then sealed in netting, I couldn't verify. I opened it up today and it is NOWHERE near new. It seems very worn and the entire inside is snagged everywhere. I wouldn't be upset it it weren't in such awful condition. I'm surprised since this was priced higher than the other lillebaby carrier (no box, same style and much better condition). Very disappointing. read more

There are far better locations than this one. First off they don't have a computerized check in. Second they do not call you when your buy is ready. I dropped off my stuff this morning after waiting for about three hours to return to them telling me I needed to launder the clothes in the box. They had a bit of dried grass on them because they were in my garage. They were not dirty they just had a few bits of grass that could've been easily shaken off. The store is run down looking and they never have an abundance of anything. I would highly recommend driving a little further and going to the Flower Mound location. They have so much inventory, some nice high end shoes and clothing, and the store is triple the size of Denton. The best thing is that it's all digital so when you arrive you type into the kiosk your information and they print you out a receipt. Lastly they CALL OR TEXT YOU when your buy is ready. Denton owners need to up their game. read more

Have recently switched from Kid to Kid to start shopping here. They have much better prices and selection. They have tons of clothes arranged by colors and seasons. All the clothes are in good shape and prices can't be beaten. I love how easy it is to find something specific. They also have great prices on Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks clothes, as well as leotards for your little gymnast. They have a good selection of shoes which is great since my kids go through them so quickly. Again, great prices on the shoes. They have lots of toys, strollers, and other things. They are good about buying your used items and give decent money for it. The staff was nice and helpful. The store was clean and well-lit. If you are in need of some good kids clothes at great prices you need the give Once Upon A Child a try. I'm positive you will be happy that you did. read more

Haven't actually been there because of a poor experience calling the store. I will continue to drive past here on my way to kid-to-kid because those guys are willing to give me information over the phone about what items they have in stock. No such experience here - Crystal, the manager who answered the phone, stated that instead of her taking the 2 minutes minutes to look for something for a potential customer, I would need to pack up my kids and drag them down there simply to find out if they have what I want. I was appalled at this, and told her she would be losing our business over this experience. Crystal said that was fine with her. I want to be clear here, I was perfectly polite and diplomatic, and utterly shocked that my simple request could not be worked with at all. What is the point of them answering the phone? Any other information I would need could be found online. As the leader of a group of over 200 homeschooling families, I'm definitely recommending to steer clear if you care at all about customer service. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. After I have brought clothing that was used maybe once or items that had very little use and told they had stains and would not be taken I refuse to go back to even buy anything let alone sell. I have bought clothes or baby items with stains from that location and didn't notice until I got home. I was told today that a brand new item I brought in to sell, that was used like once had a stain on it. When I asked to see the stain she showed it to me and it was dust that wiped off when you touched it. The biggest joke of a resale store! A waste of time and I will never be back to any location. read more

Pretty big, decent selection of clothes but really great place to pick up the big expensive items for first timers--rock n plays, jumpers, strollers, high chairs, and very decent quality for about half the price (from what I've seen). I've found some really cute dresses and a great swing for my bebe. No reason to drop so much dough on certain new items--these are good quality items. Lots of toys in the back area (decently organized, too) but I have not perused them much. read more

I always go here to sell my kids gently used clothes. I have to say I was very disappointed this evening. I called to drop clothes off and no one said I had to drop the clothes before 7 pm . I drove 25 minutes and arrived at 715 and was turned away. Not very customer friendly if you ask me . The girl didn't even care, didn't apologize all she said was it's 7:15. Twice I went there in order to give them a chance but they have failed to meet decent expectations again. While I was pregnant, I was in the store 15 minutes and checking out before an acknowledgment. But after having my baby I went back to sell some clothes and buy. They didn't buy stuff with tags on them, I saw they bought a red stained outfit while waiting for them to buy my clothes and was frustrated that they'd buy that and sell to someone no matter what brand. They took only certain pieces of outfits so sets got separated. After emailing I got no response. And I will not be returning. I will actually try Kid 2 Kid now. read more

I came into this location when I was 8 months pregnant with my second child.. it was raining outside and I had my 3 year old son with me. I walked into the location informing the lady at the front counter that I had a lot of things in my car and asked if I pulled around, would someone help me. She said that would be fine. I loaded my son back into the car and pulled to the front of the store. Not a single person helped me unload my vehicle and didn't even offer to hold the door open. Sadly there was a male working here at the time. I was so unhappy with the lack of help from these workers. I felt like this should be a common sense situation but not a single person was nice! They spoke to me as if I were stupid and didn't even help me load my car back up with the things that were not purchased! Either better training needs to be provided or people with a stronger background in customer service. Every single one of them seemed to hate being at work and not a single person smiled or said thank you!.. I will never go to this location again. read more

This place is so small they don't buy much. They offer you bottom dollar for your items. For instance $4 for a $200 Neiman Marcus jacket, beautiful and in great shape. I wasn't expecting a lot, but they are ridiculously unfair. Both times that I have brought things in to sell they offered me so little money that I took my stuff and donated it to charity rather than practically give it to these people. The store in Flower Mound is bigger and a lot more fair about what they give you. Go there instead to sell. read more
