She and I both selected several gowns which she tried on and we commented on. Then the consultant brought out several gowns which were better choices. My daughter was trying to choose between 2 gowns and the consultant suggested she go home and sleep on it, so no pressure! Even though she made a decision by the next day, she decided to wait a few month before purchasing. We went on Saturday to purchase. The consultant and owner welcomed us. The owner explained that the dress was no longer available but if she wanted the one in the shop she could have it for 50% off! The owner had already examined the gown and said it was in perfect condition. If the gown in the store didn't fit (we already knew it did) then she would call other stores that had also received the gown to find one. My daughter tried on the dress and it was more beautiful than the first time and fit her almost perfectly. As promised it was half off, and she happily paid for it and we left with the gown. To briefly recap: 6/11/20: Stephanie King of your subsidiary, Big Rock, recommended her customer, Satterfield Home Services to rebuild my driveway. 6/26/20: I gave Satterfield Home Services a Certified Check in the amount of $15,000 to start our project based upon Todd & Stephanie King's recommendation. 7/28/20: Big Rock deposited the attached check from Satterfield Home Services in the amount of $6,981.85 labeled "Ashworth Job" AFTER Todd King met with me on my property with Chris Satterfield and AGREED to perform the work. 10/26/20: I wrote to you for help because no work had ever been performed nor materials delivered. 11/19/20: Your Regional VP, Charles Bloom called me in response to my 10/26 letter. He stated that "After speaking with Todd and Stephanie King at length, Big Rock never received ANY money from Satterfield Home Services" hence "We don't have a dog in this fight". 11/20/20: I texted Charles Bloom copies of the attached check (front and back) for $6,981.85 designated for "Ashworth Job" and stated "Charles, You do have a dog in the fight. Keith" To date, I have received neither a response nor remedy from Charles Bloom. Mr. Black, you have earned a reputation as a highly esteemed CEO of a publicly held billion $ enterprise, an honorable West Point graduate and a fellow Fuqua Alum. My issue is that their estimate (for a small ~100 -140 sf area), which was submitted and was *DOUBLE* the other 3 estimates. And for clarity, the other 3 estimates had "minimums" as well. I simply perceive that their minimum is quite high, relatively speaking. They may very well have done a good job. Again the gentleman who came to review the project certainly was a very kind, gracious, and professional. My review is only to remind you, the customer, to get *multiple* estimates.

Especially if there is a possibility of me being a new customer and me spending my money. I felt that I was racially profiled and if not my skin color, my hair was an issue (I have locs). I garden and saw some vegetables on display outside and thought I had found a new store to shop in so I stopped. The guys there weren't friendly and in every aisle sat a man in a chair surrounding the register. When i went down the aisle, the gentleman at the register stood there with me but spoke as if I wasn't in the right place and seemed to usher me right back out the door. Needless to say I spoke to the owner and he was apologetic but to judge me before I even walk in the door is ridiculous.
