More bad news for consignors at Savvy Sister..... Previously, you had to go in person during a narrow window to pick up your check (per the contract). Now, without notifying consignors or changing the contract, they've switched to mandatory direct deposit with a $2.50 processing fee tacked on. So consignors essentially have to pay to receive the money from their own sold items. (Note: this was not mentioned when I was in the store..... I was simply told they switched to direct deposit and would receive an email to set it up). I've never had to pay a fee for direct deposit anywhere else, so it feels like this is just another way for the store owner to squeeze more money out of consignors from their own sold items. read more

Bad Experience - Beware! Savvy Consignment is a total scam. They take a 60/40 split from your items and push store credit instead of actual cash. I was told I could retrieve my designer items if they didn't sell--but when I went back, they claimed they didn't know where my items were. Eventually, I was told the owner took them home. That's theft, plain and simple. On top of that, the store smells like old clothes and is full of outdated merchandise. No wonder it's going downhill. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

I agree with Sarah's comment. The owner and her daughter are both super awesome super sweet. But I too don't dress or look like the norm which shouldn't matter. I also never am greeted or spoken to by staff just stares . Guess one must attend the right church to be treated as others in the store. Very discouraging. None of the staff have ever said a kind word to me only to stare as I'm not welcomed to shop there. Again the owner and her daughter always are kind and go outa their way to greet and speak to everyone. But the entire staff are all very judgemental. People with pink and purple hair combat boots and black jeans with rips are only watches like hawks. It's ridiculous cause I love the store and when I do go shopping there I have a huge cart that I buy. I wrote the review a bit ago. but I'm adding a p. s. the employees have gotten much friendlier. So I'm typically not one to have a bad experience at a store it's usually a restaurant so this experience threw me off. I was pretty excited to see this store open and wanted to check it out after seeing lots of business come in and out of the store. The appearance outside is nice. As soon as I walked in. I didn't get greeted just stared at. I browsed through the store with my daughter and I ended up buying a scentsy warmer. I knew they were closing in 20 minutes so I didn't a quick scan even through there were probably 15 people in the store. As I stood in line to check out. 2 registers became open. They both stared at me and didn't invite me. So I walked up. The women who helped me out "Courtney" on my receipt didn't speak to me until it came to give me the total. She then wasn't gentle with my warmer and it hardly clanked against the counter I was so afraid it was broken. On the counter it says life is too short to dress in boring clothes and my daughter pointed that out. My response was and life is too short to be rude and at that point 2 of the employees looked at me. I felt very awkward and unwelcome. As a store who's mission is supported by God and his works it's very sad to see that this store lacks this from people who may not look the "norm." I had on a black tank and black jeans with my hair colored 2 different ways and after spending all day at an apple orchard with my family I think I'll just continue to shop and places like goodwill and havens rest rather than feel unwelcome at an "upscale" consignment. I'm only giving 2 stars because they did have some nice pieces with good prices inside. But if you don't have a good support staff then no matter what you have in your store it won't beat what customer service lacks. read more

There are so many things I love about this store. The owner and her daughter are so sweet and fun. The staff works so hard and will help you in any way. I love the girls that go live on the app. When I visit the store I can relax, listen to Christian music and enjoy shopping. Not to mention you can sell your items and get good pocket change. this place is so nice and reasonable . The staff is great and friendly . They had alot of bargains and lovely designer handbags , shoes and clothes at a reasonable price . I really wish they would start carrying bigger sizes though such as plus size . My sister is rather large and she could not find a thing in there to fit her . so please plus size ladies drop off your top of the line clothes here . The handbags alone are worth the trip though .
