Called and got an appointment right away spoke to Shannon who was very nice and helpful, they have 3 locations which is great. Mia helped us out and was super gentle with my daughters hair. My son was found to have lice yesterday and we immediately freaked out. We have 3 young kids and really didn't know how to handle this. Lifesavers!!!!! We got a call Christmas Eve that my daughters friend had lice. All day we were checking and it was driving me nuts not knowing. On Christmas, I googled lice removal and found them. I called the number thinking I could just get the hours for the next day and Olivia answered...on Christmas!!!!! We schedules for the next morning at 9:30. Raylene greeted us and was AMAZING!!!! I had to re post a new review. Folks, the only reason this place has a good rating is because they ask their clients to write a positive review for a 10%discount. The 10% is pretty much a slap in the face when they start to gouge you for more money. This company is very dishonest and the owner Shannon doesn't follow through, bad customer service. I typed a good review originally to get my 10%off but this review is my final review about Once in a Licetime. My 5 year old contacted lice from another kid at his school, and unfortunately, he gave it to me. I was desperate to have the lice removed and looked up this place on yelp. I made my appointment and was seen the same day. Olivia was the person first person worked on my my hair and my son's. Both of us were told we had lice and the cost for my son was $175.00 since his was a mediocre case, and she charged me $195.00 because I had a more severe case (my hair is long and thick). I gave her a $50.00 tip and had my family members go in to get checked for lice as well, no one else had it. Each of my family members paid $15.00 x's 4. The products they sell and recommend you buy to maintain were an extra $60.00. Don't let them talk you into buying the products, they do not work. If their products work then why do I still have lice in less than 2 weeks of you treating my hair? I use those products everyday to maintain, and I still have lice. You are better off making a natural product yourself or getting lice products cheaper at your local (big red bull's eye). I threw out all of our brushes and bought new ones. I washed everything including my sofa cushions. I threw out my sheets and washed our clothes in hot water. I was told after my first treatment that i would be coming in again 7 days later for another maintenance which is included in the price. That same night of my first treatment, I still felt bugs crawling on my head, I was horrified. I called Olivia and she told me to go back in for a re-check. I went in, and they found eggs but no crawling critters. Following week I went in for my re-check and they found nothing in my hair. I still felt bugs on my head 2 days later and they told me to go in again for a re-check where this time they charged me $25.00. Their process is, you go in initially, if you have lice they remove and you get a second treatment a week later, after that, you are on your own. They say guaranteed but that is only a guarantee for one week. How in the world can they possibly get all of those eggs out of my hair in one week? I believe there were some remaining in my hair and this is why less than 2 weeks after my last treatment I felt more bugs in my hair, keep in mind that i maintained with their products and lice comb religiously everyday. I was brushing my hair with the lice comb last night and pulled out a bug. I called Olivia and she told me it seems like a mild case and to go in for a charge of $95.00. Are you serious, I paid these people almost $600.00 and in less than 2 weeks, 11 days to be exact, I had lice again. Her response was, it's very common. To be honest, I don't think they pull everything out, or if they do, their one week guarantee is not enough time. I called another facility, I wish I had gone to this other facility originally, lesson learned. The owner of the other facility guarantees her work for 30 days and said what Once In A Licetime did to me was uncalled for. She gave me advice and told me to speak with the owner at Once In A Licetime and she if she can make it better. I was successful in contacting the owner of Once In A Licetime , her name is Shannon and she was no help, she told me I probably don't have lice (I just pulled one out), I felt like she didn't want to deal with me, she told me she was going to call me this morning so we can discuss the issue, and I'm still waiting for that call back she never followed through. They don't care. It's not about the money, it's the principal. Here you have people who are desperate to get this stuff out of their hair and this place is just gouging people for money. I understand it saves time because I can't do this on my own especially with my long hair but 1 week guarantee is absurd. People, please look elsewhere for other places that guarantee for 30 days trust me, you will be doing yourself a favor. The lice cannot be fully removed after 2 treatments and those 2 treatments being within one week. I cancelled my appointment that I had with Once In A Licetime today. I will gladly take my business elsewhere as a made an appointment with the other facility that guarantees her work for 30 days. People BEWARE of Once In A Licetime, they just want to gouge you for more money they have no compassion, and horrible customer service skills. read more

I must say I was disappointed in the experience. My daughter had lice for a second time in 3 years and instead of going back to the previous place further away, I chose to go to a local place. They rated the infestation as extreme, their highest price point, which I can't argue with, I don't know how to judge that. But I was made believe that it would include a complete treatment with necessary follow up, which made it more than twice as expensive at $225 then the $95 I payed 3 years ago. They also mentioned they had a family plan for $250, which made me believe would cover the entire family for treatment if needed, so I agreed to proceed with the plan in mind to just pay $250 and have my family covered for a year. At the time of check out it was clarified that the family plan only covers checking the head, no treatment, so I decided to just pay for my daughter's treatment, just to find out at the time of check out when they scheduled the follow up in 5 days, that they would charge me again another $95 for that follow up treatment. At this point I am already committed, even if I go back to the previous place I will have to pay them for the treatment the same amount. So yes I feel like I ended up paying over 3 times more then usual. For them treatment doesn't mean cure or resolution, and you will need to pay for multiple treatments if you want your child's lice problem gone. read more

Both of my kids had lice on different occasions. Rayleen was great on educating our family on the little bugs, eggs and treatment. On one occasion the staff was very busy and was running behind. I was upset that we waited a half hour but Shannon and her staff made it up by following up with us. She was very apologetic and offered the kids a complimentary head check and product. read more
