I have moved many (10+) times and they have been by far the best moving company I've worked with. They were fast and efficient but also careful. You can't beat the price either. He said he'd find out what was going on, and call me back in 5 minutes. He called back about an hour later, and said they were on the way. They finally showed up at 1:00. Three hours late! I'm supposed to turn my keys in to my apartment by 5, so this is already bad. They said the owner never even told them they were supposed to be there between 9-10. They show up with a small U-Haul truck! I already knew everything wasnt going to fit, but they're determined to try. I was busy doing things myself, and I didn't think they'd need to be supervised, but they were trying to get everything done so fast that they constantly dropped boxes, dropped whole loads off of the dollys, and shoved everything in the truck no matter which way they had to stuff it in. Needless to say, they damaged stuff while doing this, and still couldn't fit it all in! Then they just left for the new house leaving all of my remaining property sitting outside of my apartment! Not only that, they left it all blocking the staircase that 2 other apartments use! During all of this, the boss showed up to help. Never introduced himself as the owner, didn't apologize for the situation, and copped an attitude when I told him how terrible this whole situation was! We got to the new house, and the movers apparently got lost, so it took them over an hour on a 20 minute drive. When I called to inquire about where they were, the owner said, "Well, they've been working hard, and probably stopped to eat. They're human too." What kind of answer is that?! I'm not paying by the hour for them to stop and eat! I hadn't even eaten myself all day because of this situation! Regardless, they got lost, and the owner didn't have a clue what he was talking about. They unloaded everything, and couldn't even put most of the stuff in the right place. It ended up taking 8 hours total to move a 2-bedroom apartment with 4 guys working! The owner said he gave me $100 off, but the total still came out to 8 hours of work. Now, the owner is completely ignoring me about damages. He's extremely unprofessional, hardly ever answers the phone, takes hours or days to call you back, no apologies or regrets at all. I've moved dozens of times in my life, and this was, by far, the worst move ever. Avoid this business like the plague!

I have mixed feelings about my experience with All My Sons…read more I booked a move for my 85-year-old grandmother on Friday after being assured they could complete the move on Saturday. I was told I would receive a confirmation call, but never did. When I called the next day, I learned they had my phone number entered incorrectly. We completed the confirmation over the phone, and I was told the move was still scheduled. The move window was between 12 PM and 4 PM. After waiting for hours, I had to call multiple times for updates. First, I was told the truck was stuck and waiting for a tow. Later, after spending most of my day waiting near the storage unit, I was finally informed around 6 PM that the move would not happen and would need to be rescheduled for the next morning. The movers who arrived on Sunday were excellent. They were professional, friendly, hardworking, and respectful throughout the move. When a piece of glass was damaged during the move, they immediately took responsibility and went out of their way to have a replacement cut before continuing. Their customer service and effort were appreciated. My frustration is with the scheduling and communication from the company. I lost an entire day waiting, had to repeatedly call for updates myself, and was not informed until late in the day that the move would not be happening as scheduled. Moving an elderly family member is stressful enough without spending hours wondering whether the movers are coming. The final bill was just over $1,000 for an 11-mile move from a storage unit to an apartment. While I understand moving services are expensive, the cost made the communication and scheduling issues even more disappointing. The movers themselves deserve recognition for the job they did, but the overall experience was overshadowed by poor communication and unreliable scheduling.

This was, without question, the worst moving experience I've ever had…read more I was scheduled as the second move of the day, but the crew didn't arrive until nearly 7:00 PM and didn't finish until around 2:30 AM. There was zero proactive communication about the delay, which made it incredibly difficult to plan--especially as a single parent managing a full move. This timeline severely impacted my children as well. I have kids, including a teenager who works, and none of us were able to get proper sleep because the move went so late into the night. It wasn't just inconvenient--it disrupted our entire household. Despite having a three-person crew, the move was extremely slow and inefficient. I ended up paying around $2,000 for a move that: * Was completed in the middle of the night * Left items in the wrong rooms * Resulted in missing (and expensive) cords * Forced me to leave items behind because I was exhausted and couldn't afford more time The lack of communication, poor time management, and overall execution were unacceptable. I do not feel the charges reflect the service that was provided. I would strongly caution others before booking. This experience added unnecessary stress to what should have been an exciting transition.

On the day of my move, there were complications with a prior booking that forced them to run hours later than we had planned. The situation was out of their control, and the manager called me several times to keep me posted on what was happening and to let me know the adjustments they were making to ensure my move was taken care of. As soon as he could, the manager arrived and began moving my furniture until the other workers could get there. There were a total of 5 movers (other than the manager) who worked on my move and they completed the work in 2 hours. Each worker was super friendly and hard-working. I've moved many times and the You Move Me workers were by far the quickest and the best movers I've hired. No move is ever perfect, and I would rather hire a company that I know can be responsive if anything does pop up. They have great customer service from the national booking representative to the staff moving my furniture. Everyone at this company worked hard to make my move quick and easy (and inexpensive!). Although I hope it is a while before my next move, I will definitely hire them again and I recommend them highly to anyone else hiring movers.

This team are professional movers, not day labor. They went beyond what was agreed to accommodate us. All of our items were packed with great care and thoughtfulness; and that is why from sensitive electronic gear to antique furniture to very fragile pottery, all arrived with NO issues! State Farm recommended First Choice Relocation to move our personal items from storage in Tulsa, Oklahoma to our new home in Edmond, Oklahoma. Facts are as follows: Wednesday, April 5, 2023 -- State Farm Adjuster approved First Choice Relocation's $8,680 bid to move our items from Tulsa storage facility to our new home in Edmond, Oklahoma. Friday, April 21, 2023 -- First Choice Relocation accepted State Farm Insurance Company's contract, and agreed to pick up all our items by April 28, 2023. Friday, April 28, 2023 -- First Choice Relocation picked up all our items at Tulsa storage facility. It took three trucks and one 16-foot trailer which could be delivered "as needed". Tuesday, May 2, 2023 -- First Choice Relocation delivered approximately half our personal items to our new home in Edmond, Oklahoma. We had purchased a smaller home, and simply did not have room for the other half of our personal items. First Choice Relocation was made aware of this before this delivery, and they only brought enough personal items to fill the house and 2-car garage. First Choice Relocation advised us we would need to rent a 2,500 cubic foot self storage unit for the remaining personal items, before the next delivery. Monday, May 8, 2023 -- We advised First Choice Relocation we had rented a 2,700 cubic foot self storage unit and we were ready to receive the remaining personal items. First Choice Relocation advised us they were too busy with a "big job at a dental company", and we would have to be bumped. We rescheduled for May 12, 2023. Friday, May 12, 2023 -- First Choice Relocation advised us they were double booked, and we would be bumped again. First Choice Relocation said they would call back with a new delivery date, but never did. Tuesday, June 6, 2023 -- We called First Choice Relocation to clarify when the delivery would be. First Choice Relocation demanded payment for work done up to date. We told them we would hand them a cashier's bank check when they delivered all the remaining personal items. First Choice Relocation agreed, but no delivery date was set. Monday, June 26, 2023 -- We called First Choice Relocation to clarify when the delivery would be. A date was set for the morning of June 28, 2023. Tuesday, June 27, 2023 -- We visited the bank and created the bank check in the amount of $8,680 made out to First Choice Relocation. The check is ready for their delivery tomorrow. First Choice Relocation called us that afternoon, and canceled the delivery of our personal items, saying we now owed them $21,161.50 and they would hold our personal items until we paid. This is the first time they told us they were charging us $175 per day, per truck, for "Store In Transit" fees. That is 244% of the original amount First Choice Relocation agreed to receive from the insurance company. Wednesday, June 28, 2023 -- First Choice Relocation did not show up to deliver our personal items. First Choice Relocation is clearly trying to take advantage of an elderly woman who lives alone (she is 83 years old). She never signed a contract with First Choice Relocation, and was not aware of any additional fees which may be incurred. First Choice Relocation's deal was with State Farm. First Choice Relocation is holding our personal items hostage, AND charging us $175 per day we do not pay their extortion. This is a classic BAIT AND SWITCH - they bid low to get the contract with State Farm, and then jacked up the price 244% once they had our personal items.
