Without my permission, the movers decided to pack miscellaneous items that I told them I would take myself to our new home. The used 4 wardrobe boxes and charged me an extra $300. Be aware of what people are doing in your home. I was taking personal items from from old home to my new home, and didn't know the movers took it upon themselves to pack miscellaneous items. I tried to speak to the owner, Andrew, but the general manager said it wouldn't be possible. Andrew is also the person who did the walk through in my home. I specifically told him I wouldn't need wardrobe boxes for anything. I'm disappointed in the service and the fact that the owner wouldn't return my call. I would not recommend " You Move Me." I will never recommend You Move Me again. I paid for my things to be moved. My washing machine is still at my former house, one week later. I am using a laundry mat to get by. Jeremy does not stand by his word and will not return phone calls. The movers left the screws to my daybed at my former house, so that could not be assembled until the next day. December 5th, 2020 My experience with You Move Me. I used You Move Me twice and each time was worse. My review is very delayed because initially, You Move Me was not listed on Google. My first move two young college age white males showed up. The move did not take long at all. I was told the credit card machine was broken. I paid cash and later found out the movers LIED about the cost. They lied to management and said I gave them a $100 TIP. I still have documentation of this move. I spoke with customer service which was useless and deflected. A manager, Andrew said he would make things right on my next move. I moved from Tulsa to Owasso. The movers on my second move, three Black men. One did the work, the second one had an authority complex...and stayed with the truck and just allegedly "SUPERVISED." The third moving employee was NEW. He complained the whole time that his asthma was giving him problems. This guy sat down constantly needing to rest. I'm not sure why he thought moving was a good fit for him. The move took a lot longer because only one mover out of three was working. These individuals definitely did not comprehend TEAM WORK. I will never use You Move Me again LIFE. The staff also left part of my bedroom set at my previous residence. I had to have someone later put my dresser with mirror together. You Move Me broke my kitchen table and wanted to REPAIR my table rather than purchase the same one. You Move Me hides behind a title of Veteran owned as a way to manipulate people. read more

This happened June of 2019 My experience started just as many listed here, they were late and showed up with truck issues. The two clowns were so unprofessional it was crazy! They had to stay attached to their phones as they ran two wheelers loading our stuff, when all was said and done they got lost going to Broken Arrow. He said they didn't charge for them getting lost but the estimate of $650 wound up being $1000 the furniture they damaged when we called the owner he adjusted a whopping $50 off the price. I would never use these clowns ever to move my worst enemy! Every time i see their ad on TV I mutter to the tv! word to the wise steer clear of them! I filed a claim for our damaged items and got no return call from them! This review is late because each time I see the ad on tv it irks me more and more. . I have always heard when get a BAD service experience you tend to tell at least 12 people. Well here I have the opportunity to tell lots and lots of people! I booked this moving service for my sister, moving from Broken Arrow OK to Bentonville, Arkansas. They were extremely responsive and professional. Responded back to me quickly with an estimate, showed up moving day ready to go and did a great job wrapping and getting everything moved. The guys they sent, Brandon and Malachai, were extremely polite and knew what they were doing. They did an excellent job - even doing a little extra once we got there because we weren't sure where we wanted everything. Would definitely use them again! read more

I chose to use you move me because of the TV commercials. I wanted to help out a veteran. I guess the guy who owns the company must be the veteran in the commercials. I had an appointment with the movers at 10 o'clock. They called me at 8:30 and said they were on their way. I was still vacuuming and cleaning the fridge and ask them to wait until 930 but told him I would not get upset with them if they didn't come until the appointed 10 o'clock. I would understand. Because I wouldn't let them come early they chose to come late. They got there at a little before 11. They Started out well and had the entire house packed in an hour and a half. The problem was they stopped for lunch at Quiktrip and didn't even take a half hour off their bill. I know because we were at Quiktrip gassing up. Interesting how my friend and I had all that problem at the gas pump they took time and yet we somehow managed to get to the house well ahead of the kids in the moving truck. Maybe they're just so polite that they had to go inside Quiktrip and thank everyone personally who handled their food. At the new house they seemed to move quickly but struggled to follow instructions. These go in the garage these go to living room these go to bedroom. Very specific items like cardboard in the garage, suitcases in the bedroom and furniture in the living room. The instructions were not that hard but they had to stop me every 30 minutes to ask about one of the pieces I had already instructed them on. I was on the phone with the gas company at the time. My first mistake. Never get on the phone with a utility when you need to watch children move furniture around. These kids need a lot of supervision. I especially stressed while we were at the old house that I had a problem with my last mover not connecting my dryer properly to the vent and I had to pay somebody else to come out and do it. They listened politely to the entire speech and did the same damn thing. I know they had screwdrivers and other equipment because they used it to work on my bedframe. Why didn't occur to them to do the same thing to the dryer vent, I have no idea. They were always very very ultra polite and seemed to be working well but once they left I found all kinds of things wrong. When they put my water bed back together I found five extra screws that were not in the jar when I handed them the screw jar. When I got someone else to come out and look at the bed, I found out that they had placed the brackets in different places and that they just didn't want to drill new screw holes for all of the screws. They put one in each bracket and left it at that because they did not know to line it up with the existing holes. Now I will have to pay someone else to come out and realign my entire water bed framebefore I can fill my water bed. Wow, they sure were awfully polite kids. Even though they didn't know how to use a screwdriver, somehow I still feel screwed. Needless to say I'm not moved by you move me. It's all surface yes ma'am and no ma'am right away ma'am's but the work doesn't get done. Now I have to go hire other people to do the things that they had promised to do. Not to mention a little extra charges that were not upfront. They advertise and brag that they have no hidden charges but they charge $16 every time they use saran wrap on a piece of furniture. I have some older pieces that aren't all that pretty. I could have said no to the saran wrap if I knew it was going to cost me $15 to have a beat up old breakfront wrapped in it. But they sure were awfully polite kids. They brought three guys which I like because work got done faster but there was an extra charge for the third guy not to mention a charge for the truck. Isn't the truck a foregone conclusion? Can I say no to the truck and have them move the whole damn thing on their backs? No. The truck should be part of the price. If the price they are charging upfront doesn't Cover the truck and the fuel and the third man, then maybe they are quoting prices that are way too low just so they can drum up business. I guess I am moved. Moved it to rage. Shakespeare said it best one can smile and smile and still be a villain. These kids aren't villains they're just lazy and incompetent. Yes ma'am no ma'am sure thing.. The villains are the ones who let these kids keep doing this. Keep right on going out there and messing up people stuff and pocketing the money. ***CAUTION*** This is a bait and switch operation. Their estimator told us that "if we pack no more boxes this is what it will cost us to move". We got a bill upon completion for over $1000 more than their "esitmate" They are NOT a firm price mover they are a TIME AND MATERIAL mover they will offer you a low ball price them charge over charge you for their services. Their insurance is a joke they pay .06 cents per pound they destroyed a new dryer they paid $85 for the claim. I've found dozens of damaged or broken items not worth claiming. I recently found our BowFlex damaged how they managed to bend tube steel I do not know. They parked a truck at our house, never used it, charged us $175 for the day. They overcharged for the mileage as well. Their GM "offered" us a letter to sign our of "courtesy" if we post nothing negative about them on social media. By the way this is the third review my other two seem to disappear from Yelp. I have emails, estimates, everything to back up what I noted here. We had estimates from their competition who gave us in writing a FIRM PRICE QUOTE about $500 below these guys final bill our bad for not using them. I would highly recommend that if you do use these guys you demand a firm price quote (they wont give you one) and the contract in advance to review (they wont give it to you) or go elsewhere. read more

The crew took 6 hours to move me out of my 500sqft apartment. Two younger men showed up late and smelled like weed. I hired this team for efficiency and to take stress out of moving. They made it more stressful and took so much of my time. I spent extra money because of the time they took moving so slow. I've reached out to management and they apologized, however I'm extremely unsatisfied with my experience. So I just wanna start by saying I've previously wrote a review about how they broke a one of a kind piece of pottery. I heard nothing from them for a few days, so I wrote a yelp review. They obviously saw the yelp review reached out to me and asked me to delete it as they needed a little bit more time to figure everything out, and to have someone reach out to me. The thugs that where sent to my home. Where very careless, destructive, unprofessional. One of the movers decided, because I am a gay male. That he was going to get in my face, in my home. And then proceed to address me as, CUZ ( AT $125 AN HOUR, MY NAME IS MR. BAKER) At that point $5000 in damages happened. I had to stop them from moving anything else. Called their boss. Because of the gang banging thug, I felt unsafe and in danger. So I then asked them to leave the property. I had to take the moving truck key's, because the driver tried to drive off with half of my house in the truck. After his field supervisor informed him , to stop moving thing because he was going to finish the job. When the area manager showed up. He seemed so friendly and sympathetic about the damages. Until it came down to how the items where going to be replaced. He stated some BS about a contract and when i asked to see the contract. He was reluctant. To show it to me. Stating that I received it in an email.(which I never did) He then said he had it on his tablet. So I asked to read it. He stated that it was long and a bunch of lawyer talk. So he handed me his tablet, and I proceeded to sit on my broken, paint splattered sofa to read what was actually a pricing quote. It was 3 paragraph's. That where about 4 sentences in length. That broke down how they got to $125 an hour. The area manager then promised to replace the thing's that where damaged. All I had to do was pay the moving bill. When I asked for that promise in writing, he refused. Stating that the owner was out of town. And that he had no authority to put that promise in writing. He told me he was promising to replace these items. But I need to pay for the move. LOL I never signed a contract I signed a price statement. Of what I was being charged for by the hour. I moved from LA a year ago and didn't break a dish. With no mover. So how is it in # hours, this company destroyed $5000 worth of my belongings. read more

Tried to set up a visit to determine the cost of a move. They tell you they give you a final price ahead of time. Then they say it is an estimate - at $122/hour it adds up when you have to pay for their mismanagement of time. After I said I did not think I was interested the phone lady said they never never go over on time when she just said that when they do, the customer pays for it. Unbelievable - felt I was getting lied to from the start. If they can't get the story straight in a 5 minute phone conversation I hate to see how they are in action. Then she would not even let me speak - a few curse words later and I was finished. Worst moving company we have ever dealt with. So we hired this company for a local move. During the move they broke one of our TVs because they were trying to carry two TVs at once. When we reported the damage to You Move Me they offered us $31 for the damage per the contract which I was fine with, we signed the contract. But before we could receive the $31 for $1,000 TV we needed to sign a liability release which also covered any negative reviews on line. So essentially we would not receive payment for damage until we agreed not post any negative reviews. Doesn't seem right to me. In addition the actual cost of the move was twice the initial estimate. We hired You Move Me to pack our entire house and load all the furniture and boxes into the moving truck. The plan was to pack one day, and load the next morning. We had two movers arrive Friday morning to pack. They worked until 1:30 and then they had to leave for another job. They didn't get done but the main packer said he would come back tomorrow and finish packing while the other guys loaded. So they came Saturday morning to load and pack. We were quoted as taking 3-4 hours to finish up. It ended up being like six or seven hours, putting us quite behind. When they left, they didn't load everything up and we noticed they forgot some random things. They did have me go through the house before they left, but I was stressed and didn't notice some additional pictures hanging on the walls and cabinets and closets that hadn't been packed. They actually dropped or spilled a box of valuable Christmas ornaments and they were broken/stepped on/crushed. We were not informed of this at all, we just happened to see them on the floor.They left the floors of our house so dirty and we had to clean them and finish up, which put us even more behind. So we decided not to drive all the way to our destination, and stop and stay the night halfway. So we were also hauling our chest freezer full of my frozen breast milk for my baby. We had to replace the dry ice in it at the end of the night so it would stay frozen. We informed the movers that and they said they'd pack it near the back of the truck / close to the door. Turns out it was not near the back. At all. We had to unload like half of the truck just to get to the freezer, at 2am in the morning. And the inside of it.... I was speechless. At how badly it was packed. Things were literally just thrown in there. Boxes weren't stacked, there were a bunch of items not even in boxes just tossed in there. Both fridges were scratched up. One of my husband's speakers was broken. I have a nice afghan that was knitted that they decided to use as a furniture pad and it was soaking wet. They put the shop vac upside down so all the dirt and dust fell out. They put the lawn mower upside down so the oil spilled out. It made the ground of the truck slippery and it was hard to get your footing to be able to get all the large furniture out. We have a glass top patio table that was just thrown in there, not even wrapped or anything. When we got to our destination the next day and unpacked more, the truck did seem to be packed better and tighter. It was almost as if they worked the estimated amount of time it would take, and then just started throwing things in to get it done. Once the move was complete, someone from the company did reach out to see how it was. I voiced my concerns, I was told something would be done about this and they would make it right, and then I never heard from them again. So here we are three months later, and we are finally getting unpacked. My husband unpacked his charcoal grill, and it was completely ruined. The whole thing was bent up and unusable. I am just really disappointed in the service this company provided and their failure to do anything to make it right. read more

Our crew of two movers were absolutely flawless. Thank you Malachi and Trevor! I can't recommend them highly enough. To start, they did a great jib of letting us know what to expect, calling us both when they finished the job before us and we're headed our way as well as when they were about 30 minutes out. They arrived right when promised and got right to work. They were incredibly efficient and friendly and packed our Uhaul super efficiently, even taking care to put key items near the front so we could access them easily when we got to our new home. We live on a hill with a huge set of stairs (20 steps) leading up to the house and they still finished the job in much less time than quoted. Thank you for all of your help! read more

They came an hour AFTER the "promise window". They did call us about 30 minutes or so before the end of the window to let us know they were running late but we still would have liked if they had come in between the window they had promised so they would get done earlier than they did. The two movers that came looked tired from their previous job so they weren't as efficient. The estimate they gave us was 1.5 hours and the movers took 3.25 hours. We weren't expecting them to take that long so we unfortunately had to pay much more than we expected, which we are not happy about because they charged us $150/hour. They also charged us extra for travel time "taking a little longer". I don't think that was necessary..travel time should be included in the fees. Overall, the company did okay..they made a few scratches/chips (door frame/wall and furniture) but the furniture wasn't new so we're not that upset about it. They packed and moved my household items to a storage unit I had leased. It took MUCH longer than expected to move into my next home (about 4 months). We have two TVs, which I moved to the new place, to have some relaxation for the upcoming move. I hand carried the TVs to the vehicle, and then into the residence. Upon removal of the packing material, I found the 48" TV had been broken. You Move Me only honors anything damaged within 10 days of the move. Because of the time-frame involved, they disclaim any responsibility. So, even though they had packed and moved it, they get to walk away. I am a 70 year old veteran on SS, so this certainly has an impact on me. Since I still haven't moved the rest of my belongings, I wonder what else may be broken. read more

I have mixed feelings writing this review. I will start with the pros. PROS: The service prior to the move was good. I received a call and they discussed with me the amount of furniture and boxes I had. The estimate ended up being pretty accurate. The owner called me prior to the move to ensure I had everything I needed. On the day of the move, the team lead called me and let me know that he was about 30 minutes away. They did a walk through and got started. Both movers worked very hard and barely ever stopped to take a break. I thought everything was good up until that point. CONS: My first point in this section is a minor issue and is expected to happen at times during a move. The refrigerator did not fit through the front door, so when they tried to force it through, it scratched the door and the handle of the freezer door. My second point is what really bothers me. As we were unpacking, we noticed that one of our fire safes was missing. This fire safe is the size of a small briefcase and the lock does not work. Inside the case were collectible antique silver coins that have been gifted to my family from my wife's grandfather and father. There are irreplaceable items due to the sentimental value in addition to their rarity. I made a call to the local number on Friday, 5/12 and was transferred to a call center from my best guess. I informed the representative of the damage and missing safe. He took my information and said that someone would be in touch with me in 24-48 hours. It is now the evening of Tuesday, 5/16 and I have yet to hear from the company. While everything else went well, the lack of response in this situation only leads me to believe that this company and/or the moving staff stole the safe from my family. Prior to the safe going missing, I would have given a 5 star rating, but given the lack of response I cannot recommend this company to move your family's valuables. read more

Would not recommend. I was under-quoted and charged extra. It took 2 movers FIVE HOURS to load a one-bedroom apartment - mostly boxes, only one bed, dresser, sofa and small other end tables. When I went to electronically pay the bill I chose "no tip" (I had cash for the tip) - the movers left. Did not say they were leaving, did not do a final walk through, did not position furniture and in fact left the dresser with their moving blanket still taped to the dresser, the couch upside down in the living room with the paper moving blankets still on it, and a moving blanket with weights in the bedroom. Malachi - the supervisor - did not apologize (but offered to call the movers to come back to finish - or have another team come to finish - 2 days later.) WARNING!!! If you or anyone you know are moving DO NOT use "U Move Me" to pack or move your belongings!! They start by giving you an estimate that is way off, and ends up costing more than you were told. They charge by the hour for packing and underestimated by 10hrs. They ended up needing to get another truck but couldn't tell us how much it would cost or when or how truck would get to TX! By then you are stuck! 98% of our furniture was damaged to some degree, scratched, dented, gouged or broken! Ex: They took the cushions from our leather couch and just shoved them into truck between other items, leather has gouges in it!! Items packed in boxes were crammed into boxes with little or no packing, and crushed, mangled and broken! We had lined up another moving company, but they canceled on us last minute, so a friend recommended You Move Me and they were able to book the move. The price they quoted was lower than anyone else around, which was good because we were on a budget. They did a fantastic job moving, and went a lot quicker than expected, so they were able to get in even under the quoted amount. Please DO NOT use this company. I usually don't use moving companies because I don't trust other people to move my furniture. I contacted This company because they had a high rating on google, and little did I know this would be the start of a nightmare. They left scratches on the door of the home I'm moving out of. I met them at my new place and went downstairs to see if we could help them, and they were using my furniture (bar cart) to stop the elevator door from closing. That piece of furniture is now damaged with scratches and dents. When they brought my dining room table in - they removed the blanket, and immediately I saw several deep dents in two different places. Ii then called the office directly. The employee said he only put boxes on the table, but boxes wouldn't do that kind of damage. I believe it could've been my dumbbells from my weight rack or the exercise bike, but I will never know because the guys said they only put boxes there. I was offered a discount for that damage. I have a white rug, and they didn't bother wrapping it, so the edges got black. They also chipped the glass on the speaker stand., and deep scratches to the door frame of my new place. The COO, Jeremy, said that he would send the guys (that damaged the rug) to pick up my rug, and he would have it cleaned, which he never did. We had to tell one of the employees to take the rug with them. Now I have to trust that whoever is handling it that they aren't mishandling it too. So all this, I get to spend my the rest of my day sick about my furniture and what I had to pay for, and they still get their 843 dollars, and I'm out the damages to my furniture and a rug that I have no idea what will happen to it. Again, PLEASE DO NOT use this company and do not trust their rating on google. UPDATE 11/1 it has over two weeks now and I'm still waiting on my items to be repaired/cleaned. So they damage my furniture and then take it and say they are taking care of me. Again PLEASE do not believe the good reviews from this company. I had a Uhaul box come in, but couldn't predict when. You Move Me was flexible on scheduling, letting us firm up a time on the day of delivery! The pricing is reasonable, well in line with others I called. The flat travel fee is nice, too. Everyone in the office was friendly and understanding. The guys are super-friendly and worked like mad on a 90°+ degree, stupid humid day. They didn't mind that I carried some stuff too (though I won't fool myself--they did the heavy lifting). i was really worried about moving and was a bit concerned when the crew came and they were all in their late teens/early twenties. but simply put, they did a great job - super careful with our things, really detail oriented, friendly and helpful with all the little things that go with moving. the job was exactly what they estimated in both time and cost. to be clear, i wouldn't look forward to moving again but if i had to, i'd definitely use them again. read more

Andrew Wilson isn't sure what happened to a computer that was sitting on a shelf of furniture that wasn't moved and was the only object on this shelf or piece of furniture. I was in the house during the move but not always in the same room. ONLY OTHER PEOPLE THERE WERE HIS EMPLOYEES. Furthermore when we took both loads to new house, less than a mile away I had the security system on while we were gone. Yet he maintains that his movers "didn't take the computer". He offered me a few cents for the "weight of the computer" as it turned up missing. He refused any other settlement. He has not produced the speakers his movers also took. He has refused to tell me who insures his company. I have called the national company and they were no help referring me back to Wilson. Wilson started screaming at me on the phone. I was advised not to meet with him without someone else present. He has not offered to make any financial restitution other than the less than a dollar for the weight of the computer. I would not trust this company. Andrew comes off as a smooth talker trying to reconcile but there has been no financial reconciliation. Super Indifferent here... the team I had was great. They were friendly to me, and to eachother and worked well as a team. HOWEVER. They had a 3rd guy with them who was in training and completely slowed down the process. I was very specific with what I had to move, my quote was right where I was hoping.... But then the move took 3 hours longer than they said, and they tried to make me pay over twice what I was quoted. This is after I booked an 8-10 time slot and they showed up at 11. The movers themselves were great, I think the management was the sour spot. It took a lot of conversation and him telling me he couldn't budge on the price before he finally did. Again, he did work with me, but I think it was only once he realized I wasn't taking his No as an answer. read more

Everything was fine except they let one of the doors fall open, which actually broke off of a very expensive Habersham armoire and fell out on the street. They promised to fix it, but we had to repeatedly call them to find out what was going on, kept getting the runaround. Finally, a guy shows up with it supposedly repaired. They did a very poor job, smeared a little putty on a couple of spots, and that was about it. He put the door back on using longer screws. I didn't complain, at least we had the door back. It doesn't close right anymore, can still see a big crack in the wood, and the edges are still scraped and rounded off from hitting the asphalt. We paid several thousand dollars for this piece and they broke the door off! They were always nice and polite on the phone and they did good on everything else, but their repair quality sucks!!! Spent quite a bit of time going over the contents of our house when I set up the move. When the guys showed at 9 instead of 8 they seemed surprised at how much stuff they had. They manager had called and asked if two workers was enough. I was confused as to how they even thought that would work and asked for a third worker at another $50 an hour so there goes my estimate! Guys worked hard but a lot of standing around especially by the third guy who seemed to just hang out in the truck. Supposedly he was stacking the truck but everytime I looked he wasn't doing much. At one point one of the guys had helped himself to a lawn chair and was chillin in my front yard. At $50 an hour that's not okay! Move ended up taking 7 hours not 4 and cost me $1062 not $500. He started by reminding me that my conversation when I set my move up initially was recorded. I said, "Okay!" He then proceeded to pretty much argue with me about my move and my experience. After a few minutes I stopped him and asked why he had called? He stated that they valued their reviews and that's how they get a lot of their business and that they would like to offer me some money back for my experience. I thought...great! It did cost me double what I was quoted! He then stated they would like to give me $75 back in the hopes that I would change my Yelp Review! I laughed and said no thanks and ended the call! Obviously this company cares NOTHING about customer service or my experience! Basically the only reason they called was because of my review and thought they could toss me a little bone to get me to change it. Totally missed the point. I initially planned on using them to move my stuff again from storage to our new house. Obviously I will be finding another moving company! I would encourage anyone else to do the same! read more

You Move Me - Tulsa - overcharges for their services. Pretty terrible company. They charge a $99 truck fee for services that do not require a truck. I hired "You Move Me" to unpack my U-Haul truck. They charged $125 per hour for two service members to unpack the truck, plus the $99 truck fee. It would have been cheaper to pay an uber for the movers to show up to work! What is particularly unsettling, though, is that I was never informed about the $99 truck fee - neither by phone or in writing. The only place it appeared was on the invoice, which I received the same day the services were provided. I called to complain. The company decided the fee is "valid" because it was on the invoice. Total non-sense. Customers need to be told upfront about these fees. Big surprise. Called again to challenge the decision, and am waiting for resolution. read more

I've never paid anyone to move me so I had quite a bit of anxiety about it. I got estimates from several places based on Yelp reviews. I chose You Move Me because of their ratings and their cost estimate. On moving day Jamey and his crew arrived on time and called ahead and offered to bring me coffee. Jamey and his crew were polite and worked 6 hours with no breaks or lunch. My furniture was padded and wrapped and there was absolutely no damage to my furniture or house. They also moved furniture out of my storage unit which included a piano. I couldn't have had a better experience. They even called after the move to make sure I was happy. The final cost was a little higher than the estimate, but it was still significantly lower than any other estimate I got. My wife and I had to move from our apartment in Tulsa after living there just two weeks due to a mold issue. We were given a moving allowance to relocate. Since we had a short window in which to move, I called a couple of local companies to get prices. The prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately, they could not move us on the day requested. While at the apartments where we were locating, I noticed a You Move Me truck unloading contents for a customer, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the truck and the professional look of the two men who were working. I got the toll free number off the truck and gave them a call. A lady by the name of Priscilla promptly answered the phone. She was very polite, energetic, and responsive to my questions. I told her that we needed to move from our apartment in just two short days and asked if this was possible. She told me that she would check and call me right back. Well, she did. She told me that this could be done. I inquired about the rates. She quoted a price of 95 dollars per hour for each person which was much higher than the other two companies I had previously called. Since time was of the essence, I decided to go with them. I asked her for a quote involving two bedrooms, two baths, and a living room. She sent the quote via e-mail shortly after our conversation. The quote was $484.00 excluding labor. I knew that this was not an accurate estimate and called her back to see if I could get someone to come to the apartment to view our contents and give a more accurate estimate. She referred me to Andrew Wilson, the owner of You Move Me in Broken Arrow. I called him to set up a time for an onsite estimate. Mr. Wilson was very accommodating and told me he would meet me at the apartment at my convenience. We set up a time and he was there at the designated time. After viewing the contents, he gave me a price. I asked him to include the price of unpacking the contents as well since my wife has some health issues. He gave me a total price estimate of $1700.00 for packing, ,moving contents and unpacking. Well, I felt the price was too high for a four mile move and called Case Associates to get an approval for this amount. Surprisingly, they approved, although they felt the price was too high. Their goal was to get us out of the apartment quickly due to the mold issues and I suppose that was the deciding factor. The move was set up for Monday. However, due to the mold issue, we had to have our contents cleaned by the Mold Remediation team that Monday morning prior to the move. This was made clear to You Move Me prior to the move. You Move Me shows up at 8:30 a.m. before the Mold Remediation team had to chance to do their work. One of the men on the Mold Remediation team tells the You Move Me folks that they would have to come back at a later time, around 11.00 a.m. Well, they leave and come back later that morning. The initial estimate I was given by Mr. Wilson was for two men at 95 dollars an hour over a nine hour time frame. When they came back, there were additional people added to the move. The two man crew grew to a five man crew and a second truck was added for the move. Now, we have five men working at 95 dollars an hour and an extra truck. Do the math. Now, my wife had told these people that the move could be split up in two days provided we had all the furniture moved the first day. I guess You Move Me wanted to get it all done before the holiday so they bring all these people and an extra truck to move a two bedroom apartment. There was no mention of the extra expenses incurred by the You Move Me team. Mr. Wilson was well aware of our budget, yet his team failed to communicate the extra expenses involved. Well. the move was completed and the total amount did come in around 70.00 under budget, however; the $285.00 included in the unpacking was eclipsed due to the extra manpower used for the move. During the unpacking process that my wife and I had to do, we found several issues. There were dog beds in the same box as dish towels. There was a dirty dustpan thrown in a box with a loaf of bread and toothpicks. There were broken dishes, electronics tangled up in wires, large, heavy boxes sitting on the dining room table, our Kuerig coffee maker was in a box with my wife's curlers and makeup. You get the picture. I sent Mr. Wilson an e-mail stating that I was not happy at all with the move. Not long after that, some guy by the name of Bill gave me a call. I voiced my concerns and obvious frustrations about the process, including the poor packing, the extra manpower involved ect. Mr Bill was of no help. I told him I would like an itemized list of the expenses incurred on this move and have not received it. In short, I have credibility issues with this company. They will probably not be resolved but at least you've been warned. read more

I had a great experience with this moving company. The two guys, Victor and Rico, worked their butts off in the freezing cold and did an amazing job. They were very helpful and polite.
