As part of our 50th Wedding Anniversary, my wife and I arranged for a cruise with "On the Loos Cruises." The first day we chose didn't work out because of sickness in the Loos family. A day later we took the cruise and it was great time. The boat is very well kept up and decorated much better than some tour boats we have been on. Our anniversary was celebrated by the crew, with a short but great song. I noticed that they talked and visited with all of the people on the tour making it very enjoyable. OUTSTANDING!! Went on the Tuesday 11AM cruise during the week of EAA AirVenture 2017. As a former resident of the city, I saw and learned about things I never knew about before. What a great education...while sitting on the top deck of the paddle wheeler and letting the river and lake take us quite a distance. Excellent narration. Very informative. Brought me 'up-to-date' on improvements and developments along the Fox River that have occurred since I last lived here. Three of us went on the 5:30 Thursday cruise. It turned out late afternoon to finally be sunny, and the sun sparkled on the water--very pretty. We had a wonderful time figuring out "where we were" along the river, and seeing Oshkosh and the river from a different viewpoint than onshore. It was very relaxing and beautiful. I had my employee appreciation party on the Loos Cruise. We all enjoyed our time greatly. It was very relaxing, and we also got to enjoy the EAA airshow! The crew was wonderful and accommodating. They even assisted us with our group picture! The only issue we had was with the spiral staircase to the upper deck where most of the seating was located. This was an issue for my older employees. My family came to Oshkosh for the weekend and booked a cruise a few days in advance. A couple of my family members could no longer make our originally scheduled cruise, and the captain was so accommodating and allowed our family to reschedule for the following day, at no extra charge! This is a great mini cruise on the Fox River in Oshkosh. The two hour trip takes you along the Oshkosh waterfront and then into a nearby lake (not Lake Winnebago). The boat is comfortable, the Captain and crew are very friendly and they have a bar if you want to enjoy some beverages while you cruise. Definitely recommend this trip if you are in Oshkosh and enjoy spending time on the water. read more

The crew was very friendly. We took the lunch cruise which included salad and sandwiches, which were very good. Tip: They charge $2 for bottled water. We had trouble finding the boat; there are NO signs whatsoever to direct you to the boarding point. The boat docks behind a Best Western. They don't have an office at the dock; they take care of ticketing on board. read more

My family and I had a great time on Saturday. We did the Fun in the Sun Saturday trip. My five and nine year had a great time. The crew was friendly and fun. My husband and I enjoyed the scenery of Oshkosh from the river. We would highly recommend this tour. We are definitely going to try out one of the other later adult only tours next time. read more

We are visiting from Colorado and wanted a water adventure. Since we didn't have access to a boat we thougth a river cruise would be the next best option. The Captain and his mate were very congenial and pleasant. The ride was smooth and highly enjoyable. The bartender was happy to engage in conversation. A Grade A experience for sure! read more

This was a great cruise on the river, the crew and the staff were so accommodating and nice. We couldn't have asked for a better day out on the water. Had a fantastic time on the cruise. Captain Jeff and Captain Gary are so friendly and outgoing. The staff was wonderful and they even sang me a short and sweet version of Happy Birthday! Honestly, what an amazing time for my kids! We did an afternoon tour and the crew was amazing to my kiddos. They showed them the paddles and provided them with extra special treats! This was our second trip on the Loos Cruise. We also bought a gift certificate as an anniversary gift for our son and his wife. Needless to say, we love this cruise. It is beautiful at sunset and very relaxing. Sit back, have a cocktail, and enjoy the view. You will not be disappointed. read more
