Both the wine and the chocolates were very nice. We wound up buying a bottle of the Tuscan reserve to take home with some of the chocolates we couldn't finish. After a rest we came back for dinner at the Granary Bourbon bar. We were warmly welcomed. We liked the casual vibe and surprisingly it was not too loud. We started with a flight of old fashioned cocktails. We tried vanilla bean, honeycomb, and our favorite the cinnamon appke. For dinner we both had the Friday perch fry. The perch itself was very good with a nice panko coating. The fries were good too but they could have been warmer. Our server was very attentive and friendly. They were definitely on the game. We chose a build your own pizza choosing pepperoni, sausage and black olives. The pizza was wood fire cooked so thin with nice crisp edges. So good. There is a lovely covered patio to enjoy the green vines and farmland. Staff brings your ordered food to your table. You could really pick any amount of wines to try instead of being locked into to specific number. We tried 5 traditional wines, which were all very tasty and 1 ice wine which neither of us had tried before. It was also really good. Service was very friendly and helpful and I enjoyed the way the tasting was done where you could sit in one of their two seating areas and sample at your own pace vs having to stand at the bar.

We went to Duck Creek initially for the wine but after arriving there and seeing they had a large…read moreline of home made distillery items we changed our focus to these spirits. This business makes there own Beer, wine and alcohol products where the diversity of what they make is kind of amazing considering the footprint/size of their facility. Relative to the tastings, these are free of charge where customers are encouraged to tip instead to show their appreciation for what they have been served. Duriing our trip here we tasted numerous spirits to include their house made gin, rum, vodka, Brandy, Bourbon and various flavored moonshines. I thought the liquors with the exception of the Moonshines were just OK but the moonshines were surprisingly quite good. These 60 proof drinks come across like a liquor based on the alcohol by volume content with a similar creamy texture. The flavor profiles are quite unique to anything I have ever tasted before where their flavors include Grandma's Apple Pie, Salted Caramel, Orange Slice and Lemon Drop shine to name just some of them. Every Moonshine bottle we tasted was so tasty where I was really enamored with all of them and at the end of the day ended up buying the Lemon Drop and salted Caramel although it was hard to stop at just these two. Relative to the facility it has a non descript outer view where the inside comes across more of a typical bar venue more so than a winery/distillery which is a bit deceiving in my mind considering how much product they make here. No stacked wine barrels or a sneak peak of the Distillery or Barrel rooms to reinforce what this business is and add the cute ambiance you get at many of the wineries I visit. Relative to Staff, They were exceptionally friendly and good on the repours for our free tasting which definately added a lot to our tasting event. Overall a very pleasant time was had by our group where I see myself returning again in the future and sampling their other ware's and probably buying more moonshine!

So I've been waffling on updating my review, but this has come up in conversation with multiple…read morefriends SO MANY TIMES that it must be updated. I still contend that this place is fantastic, the wine is good, and the pizzas are excellent. Staff is still super friendly and relatively attentive. They slightly modified their Wednesday special, but it's pretty similar. However, it doesn't really matter if you're never able to enjoy or take advantage of said wine, food, or deals. Their hours are entirely not conducive to the average human being. They close at 8pm, and every time I've come here we are essentially "kicked out" (they never actually kick us out per se, just indicate that they're closed/closing and bring us our check). By the time you get off work, get home to take care of any pets/children/family etc, you're already crunched for time before they close. Heaven forbid you actually have a class or appointment in the afternoon first. In the past two months alone, we've wanted to come to Cambridge Winery but had to opt for a different option THREE TIMES because people's schedules couldn't get them out until 6:30 pm ish. And this has happened multiple times throughout 2022 as well. AND this is not just with one or two friends, but with multiple different friend/co-worker groups. It's a rare occasion we can all get our schedules to fit with Cambridge Winery's limited schedule. Alas, this is the reason for my downgrade in review. It's not accessible, so all the good it has to offer is rendered moot. That said, if you can get to the winery early, I still highly recommend it.

We went toward the white, given the heat and toward the dry, because we hate sweet wines. Service was friendly and quick. The pours were generous. The wines were much better than I'd expected from a small town winery, located far from any wine country. But the prices per bottle are a little high, which makes sense since they can't rely on economy of scale in production. The tasting, however, is an excellent value. The shop is cute and carries some fun wine related items. They also do classes and allow people to bottle their own wine. Make sure to say hello to the friendly shop dogs.

They had a really good October fest on tap too that my friend decided to steal from me, so I got a local hazy ipa from their cooler which was interesting (still would have rather had the Ofest). The outdoor grounds are beautiful and well kept. We sat outside with a choice glass of wine and a beer while soaking it in. We chatted with the owner / wine maker about the local area to help us in our travels and asked some questions about the wine making process. Great time!
