There's always something fresh happening, whether it's a new class or a creative drop-in. My improv skills have grown so much since joining, and no matter the class, I've always felt comfortable and had a great time. (Danceprov really is no experience required!) If you're even slightly curious about improv, this is the perfect place to start.

Every class I've taken so far (Improv Essentials, Character, Scene Play, Drop-ins, Narrative, Performance classes, etc) has been SO MUCH FUN and has improved my skills as an improviser. A huge bonus of TPS is the community you'll join. the TPS community is made up of some of the best and most friendly people in the area that you'll get to play with during each class and develop lasting friendships with. The cost of classes, both one day drop-ins and 5-6 week series', is very reasonable and affordable, especially for what you get out of them. Whether you have experience improvising or none at all, I highly recommend TPS!

Matt and a few other instructors make it seem like its a burden to have to help students. A lot of the equipment is also old and broken and students are then blamed for it. I honestly did not feel like anyone at CIEMT wanted me to succeed. The entire experience felt like I was being hazed. Being yelled at and demeaned is not a bug but a feature of CIEMT. Do not attend this school if you want to have a good experience learning. I promise you that you will regret it. Do not be fooled by the low program cost. I ended up taking another EMT class at UCLA and I passed without any issues. Please take your hard earned money elsewhere.

I went to their website and registered for the June course, paid the $250 fee, and only then noticed I had been enrolled in the May session instead. I never even viewed the May option, and this all happened within two minutes. I immediately registered again this time correctly for the June course. Since it was late at night, I couldn't call right away, but I contacted the school the next day to explain the situation and request a refund for the mistaken May enrollment. The woman I spoke with was incredibly rude, dismissive, and repeatedly blamed me, refusing to even hear me out. She said it's my fault and that it's none refundable and that I singed it. She made it clear that they wouldn't help. So, I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my bank. Then today, I received an email saying I was being refunded for the June class the one I actually wanted and was told I'm no longer welcome at their school for making a false dispute which is not true. Meanwhile, three of my friends registered with me, and after hearing about this experience, they've decided to go elsewhere. So congratulations you kept $250, but lost four students. I will be exploring legal action due to your unprofessional conduct and the clear issues with your glitchy website. Future students, do yourself a favor and find a school that actually cares.

We had such a wonderful experience with Monica as my seven year old grandson's swim instructor. I…read morejust had to take a moment to recognize how exceptional she is. Monica is incredibly patient and intentional in the way she teaches. I could clearly see her introducing new skills step by step, making sure he understood, and encouraging him the entire time. What stood out most was how engaged he was. He was completely attentive, listening closely, and genuinely excited to try what she was teaching him. It is amazing to watch his confidence grow in the water, and I truly believe Monica deserves a lot of credit for that. She takes her time, communicates clearly, and creates an environment where kids feel safe and motivated to improve. If you are looking for a swim instructor who is skilled, patient, and truly invested in her students' progress, Monica is outstanding. We are so grateful for her!

Our daughter was initially extremely afraid and apprehensive getting used to her head under water. She cried bloody murder the entire first week. It was admittedly very difficult having to hear her scream the entire 15 minutes, but trust the process! Alex was so good with her and earned her trust. By the end of the second Monday, she got out of the water and exclaimed how much she loved swimming. I was shocked! Something just clicked. Not only did she get over her fear of having her head in the water, she loved it. She was able to roll, float on her back, and kick within the second week. She spent the third week refining skills and feeling more comfortable under water. We are so incredibly proud of the progress she's made in such a short amount of time. And while we feel so much better about the skills she's picked up, nothing can beat the confidence and resilience she's built along the way. Thanks, Teacher Alex!
