I decided to visit Eyemart Express. I was greeted and welcomed by Lee over to his work station. He looked up my benefits, checked my prescription and shared their promo deal that I qualified for a second free pair. I started shopping around for my frames and found my free pair from a select set of frames first. They have quite the selection of frames here, lab in store that it was hard to select a second pair that I would be wearing more with work and everyday. I was impressed with their variety here and the price I paid for my glasses were less than I would usually pay elsewhere. My free second pair was ready for pickup before I got to the carwash only a few blocks away. If I knew they were going to be that fast, I would have stayed in the parking lot. I'm super satisfied with the new eyes and the level of customer service I received from Lee. I am looking forward to returning in two weeks or less for my other glasses that I added, antiglare and transition to. Thank you again Lee for your help today.

I've been to this office several times and my recent visit will be my last…read more NOTE: the Retina Scan is zero benefit to patients, as the doctor doesn't even look at it and they will not even share the information with patients unless you pay an extra $30 (per the intake staff) So what's the point, other than to obtain a scan of your retina? The 'map' of your eye is the same as a fingerprint, which is already being used as a form of identification for security. They usher every patient into the retinal scanner like it's part of the exam/appointment. It felt super shady and an invasion of privacy without proper disclosure, that the doctor doesn't even look at them for your appointment, nor do you have the right to look at them without paying them directly (not covered by insurance). I mentioned the reason for my visit was discomfort in my left eye, but he said probably just allergies and that everything was fine!!! The doctor never said a word about the results and gave me a piece of paper saying it was my "prescription" to update my glasses. I didn't look at it until today, but it states that I have a chronic gland dysfunction in both eyes that needs constant care and treatment!! Pretty important information for a patient to know :( Avoid the privacy intrusion, wasting time and money, only to have to get a second opinion at your own expense.

The doctor has a great personality, making it fun to have your eyes tested. The people that work there are very helpful in selecting your glasses. They have a wonderful selection. My salesperson, Kathy, already knows what would look good on me. She always chooses a few for me right off the bat. I don't have to like them but it gives me a head start when making my decision. It is a costly endeavor, so be ready to invest a few-well worth every penny.

After visiting, I can clearly see (ha ha) why! The location is beautiful inside (so uplifting and spacious) and out (next to Betsy Caughlin Donnelly Park). The staff is friendly and highly professional. And Grace and Dr. Belaustegui did an amazing job with my screenings and exam. Everything was thorough and informative, from discussing my eye drops and ongoing eye care (wear your sunglasses and take long blinks!), to a whole eye scan that showed exactly what was going on in my eyes without needing a tedious and inconvenient eye dilation. Although I only needed a slight adjustment to my prescription, my new glasses are perfectly configured for computer use, which has already resulted in noticeably less eye strain! Meagan was also very helpful (and patient) with finding the new frames and walking through costs. Highly recommend! TIP: Plenty of onsite parking; take a little extra time and walk through the park while you're there.
