I finally had my friend reach out to him to which he responded that he "doesn't work out there anymore." I have been texting him for over a month to come back and finish the job which I PAID HIM FOR. He FINALLY calls me back, speaking in a very condescending tone, and denied ever telling me that he would come back and finish the job. I reminded him of the texts and read them back to him. He rudely responded, "That was probably my daughter responding to you. This isn't my problem anymore. Find someone else." Then hung up on me. I texted again demanding a refund and calling out the unprofessional behavior. This is a very shady business.

Luckily the mudd formed minimize the water leak to our main line; the workmanship showed that they glued poorly or not at all!!! So after a few hours of digging, prep (runs to Lowe's) and lots of mudd it's now fixed!!! But here's to your workmanship! I will be calling!!

Turns out the break was on the city side, and instead of trying to sell us an expensive repair, he told us to contact the city first. Huge respect for that level of honesty. Since he was already there, we had him install a new toilet and showerhead. The toilet install had some quirks because the tile floor isn't perfectly level, but Brandon explained everything, handled it the right way, and made sure it was solid before wrapping up. We pretty much knew we had a hot water slab leak, but we had Plano P&L come confirm for us. They were really open and honest and helpful in regards what we should tell insurance. We did hire them to do the repair and they were super fast, clean, polite and did a great job. They kept me involved, there was absolutely none of that 'She's a woman so she doesn't know anything' type crap from them, which made me really happy. I was really pleased with the whole experience, they fixed our issue and I would recommend them in a heartbeat! BTW: They do not take credit cards. Check or cash only. Mario came and shut off the main water line and also the double check valve, told me that it's a leak inside the house. For them to find and fix the leak, it would cost me $3,800 - $4,800 to reroute the pipe, and potentially another $1,600 - $1,800 to replace the new shut off ball valve. I called another plumbing company (Castro Leak Detection), they came to take a look around and put a pressure gauge on the hose bib to check the pressure, confirmed the leak is with the irrigation system (Casto Leak Detection didn't even charge me for anything). I called irrigation system company and came out to find the leak and fixed it in the sprinkler line. Plano Plumbing would have charged me thousand of dollars for not fixing the correct issue if I had trusted them, which I had doubt with Mario because he was not professional. He came out with a toothpick floss in his mouth while talking and was in such a hurry, only wanted to give options to fix the wrong problem. Don't hire Plano Plumbing & Leak Detection.

When the "owner" is having their employees put major purchases on their own credit cards, that's a HUGE red flag. It's an even bigger red flag if that credit card is not paid back immediately upon payment from the customer. Then to do this on two different cards? In a final act of things Jesus would probably not be too proud of, this owner decided charging up almost $2k in credit card debt wasn't enough, he and his wife decided they were not going to pay the same employee for the last couple of weeks that he worked. I would never want this type of person in my home. **Go pay that man what you owe him-all of the pay, the Discover Card, and the Home Depot card, plus any & all interest that accrued.
