We have had them out twice now to reseal our driveway and they have done a phenomenal job. The price is not bad either! Highly recommend!

Similar story to others here. Got a flyer on the door which is 25% off and 5 bucks per neighbor. Great. In reality the discount never came and for the little extra driveway I have I paid more than what they advertised. We will go to one of the thousands of other sealers next year. read more

I was quoted $300 from another company and told they couldn't guara they could seal the cracks. They wanted to quote us to replace everything! OMSA was available in less than a week when I texted. They charged $25 more to fill the cracks and did a great job in minimal time! We will use them again next year! read more

Was told drive way had too many cracks and was charged extra because "it was never sealed". It was sealed 3 years ago. That aside? They refused to use crack filler, the previous day? I did a little of work even filled in several big cracks, removed weeds, power washed it. It looks about the same as it used to be. We were used the company after receiving a flyer on our door. The price was unbeatable, so should had known to stay away. They offered $69 for sealing, and $25 for additional crack filling. They send a text ahead of time to leave the payment in the mailbox. I went outside when they arrived at my home and provided payment- I specifically showed where I wanted the cracks filled, and we gave a little more than the $25 because we know the cracks are bad at the end of our driveway. The guy that repaired it nodded his head at me that he understood, and told me he didn't speak good english. Afterwards they left without telling me and they did nothing to fill the cracks. I called and texted the number on the advertisement, and he told me I didn't understand how crack filling worked. I told him I wanted the additional payment back as I was dissatisfied with the appearance, and he argued with me about doing this and then finally agreed he would provide the $25 back via text. It's been about 3 weeks since this was done, and have yet to receive the payment back. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. read more

I have 0 respect for anyone that leaves flyers at my door when I have a large NO SOLICITATION sign. If you're in Crystal Lake near the Woodscreaks homes, we get flooded with seal coating flyers. These people need to stop wasting door to door flyers and use the money towards better advertising ideas. This does not get you business. Really bad business practices - stay away from OMSA. Pays people to canvas neighborhoods and put their flyers in house doors without asking. Used them to seal my driveway and they did a horrible job. They tracked the seal coating substance (which seemed heavily diluted) all over the main road and on the sidewalk. Would not recommend them at all. read more

Tried OMSA this year after another service raised their prices by nearly 2x. At first they weren't sure South Elgin was in their area but a callback later confirmed they could come out the next day. $69 paid by check for our 2x2 was reasonable and they did a great job as far as zero splatter on nearby concrete. Can't speak to the quality of the sealant but it appeared they used about ~3 buckets worth. I'm satisfied. read more

We have been using Omsa for years, probably close to 10 years. They have always done a great job. We have always paid with a check, I'm surprised someone was told they need to pay cash. I really don't understand the bad reviews. It seems people are just pissed about the flyers. I actually appreciate the flyer because it reminds me to set up an appointment with them. read more

Been using this company for about 4 years. Sealcoating lasts as long as it should provided you don't drive on it to soon and it doesn't rain. Unlike the previous guy I have no problem with the fliers and wait for one as they offer better prices when a bunch of people do it on the same day. 55 bucks for my pictured driveway. read more

I showed him the flyer and the quote from the text. They refused to honor it. On top of all of this they asked for cash. We will not be using them again. read more

They honored their advertised price, the price was good, and they showed up on the date promised with a 24 hour notice text message to perform the work as expected. They were finished in 10 minutes. The worker's spoke very little English and appeared to get agitated after I questioned the charges in price. This group appears to be scammers. Spoke to the receptionist 2 times to set up an appointment. Told her my driveway dimensions several times during both conversations. She assured me of the price, which was different from the flyer ( I was ok with it b/c of my bigger driveway). The day of the job, the manager informs me that it will go up in price. With a cavalier attitude of "take it or leave it". I took my business elsewhere. Not only where they polite and respectful, but most importantly HONEST!!! I recommend you do the same. read more

After reading the other reviews I wasn't sure if scheduling with Omsa was a good idea or not but I went ahead with the appointment anyway. Fortunately everything went as expected. They did a good job for the price I expected. I paid by check even though they were pushing for cash in the reminder text I received the prior day to the appointment. First, if I could give negative stars I would. Got a flier, talked to my neighbors and set up a day for seal coating. Was told $59 per driveway with a $5 discount for multiple driveways in the same subdivision. So $54. Ours is a new asphalt driveway, I'm told that it will cost more because it has not been sealed before. This makes sense so, OK. We've got 4 house's together. The day arrives, the guys show up, very nice, polite, nice to talk to. We're told our driveway will be $160 because it will take more material. My wife agreed. Upon completion, she calls me and tells me "they only put one coat of sealant on." So I go back on the doorbell camera and sure enough, one coat with 3 buckets of sealant. So, I call the contact number and leave a message for them to call me. Later that day, I call and leave another message. Then I text saying I expect a call back today. The gentleman calls back and states that he wasn't there but a new driveway takes 5-6 buckets of sealant that's why it's $160. I tell him that I watched and saw that they only used 3. To which he says "No, they couldn't have." To which I said "Even if they were to have used 6 buckets (which they didn't) why wouldn't have been double the normal price instead of 3x the normal price? He had no explanation for that. From there the conversation went downhill. Long story short, do t use this guy. You'll thank me. Stay waist from him. Never even offered to TRY to make it right. read more

They earn extra credit from me because there was a discrepancy on the price that I paid, and their team returned to my house to refund the difference. This company left a flyer on my front door with a quote. I called and scheduled for them to come and seal coat my driveway. When they showed up, the man who came to my house said your quote is incorrect and wanted to charge me $41 more. .He said your quote is wrong. So aggravated I can not help but feel as if there was a little bit of bait and switch going on. Maybe when you leave a quote it should be the actual price that the driveway seal coding is going to be. We will NEVER ever use this company. I declined having them do the work.
