Hotel Omnium should honestly be ashamed to call itself part of the hospitality industry. What they did is nothing short of disgraceful.
I booked in good faith -- a simple stay with my child -- and within less than 24 hours, I contacted them because the hotel could not accommodate us. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable: just basic decency. I offered every possible solution -- reschedule, credit, partial refund, anything -- and was met with the most arrogant, heartless responses imaginable.
They are now charging me the full amount for a room they cannot provide, a room that will be immediately resold to someone else. So they profit twice -- once from me, once from the next guest. That's not policy -- that's blatant theft masked as "terms and conditions."
The staff were rude, cold, and dismissive, acting as if guests are a nuisance rather than their reason for existing. Not one person attempted to help, apologize, or show the slightest shred of humanity. Every reply I received was robotic, defensive, and dripping with indifference.
This place is a perfect example of everything wrong with modern hospitality: greedy policies, no accountability, and zero respect for customers. They hide behind fine print to justify unethical behavior, and it's revolting.
I've stayed in hotels across the world -- from small family inns to five-star properties -- and never have I encountered such a disgusting attitude. These people do not care about guests, families, fairness, or reputation. All they care about is squeezing every cent out of anyone unfortunate enough to book with them.
If you're reading this, do not make the same mistake I did. Save yourself the stress, the anger, and the humiliation. Hotel Omnium is the absolute bottom of the barrel -- greedy, unprofessional, and utterly devoid of human decency.
Avoid it like the plague. read more
