(Basically, the structure of their company is recruiting more sales people who will work under them to get a fraction of their sales). Ultimately, I chose another company to install my solar, since I did not want to work with a company that subcontracts exclusively, ie they are a middleman. Go search Powur and you will see their website actually is geared more to recruiting more solar "ambassadors" to sell more solar. Do google searches or visit their site or YouTube and you will see their presentations of how much money their sales people can make, which ultimately is your money. I think it is very low class for the company to have all these "compensation explained" videos on YouTube. They spend more effort on YouTube trying to recruit sales people than focusing on their solar product and services. You are paying a premium for their sales team, which do not add any value to your actual solar project. I mean they even boast their software has a profit calculator and they can adjust the cost of their quote depending on how much the sales person is willing to accept. You will find YouTube videos describing their company as a MLM. I continued to get spam emails and texts. I asked him to stop and he said he would stop, but he and his company continued with annoying spam.

We really wanted to get into home before the rising prices pushed us out of the neighborhoods we wanted. I knew Sei through my work and he has always been very friendly, kind and professional. When we began looking Sei was very thorough in asking us for specifics about the needs and features we wanted in our home. He immediately put together a detailed list of all the homes available to us in the areas we were considering and began taking us to open houses and private viewings. Sei was extremely honest when he saw something about homes that he felt he should warn us about. Whether it was a poorly done remodel, room additions that weren't up to code, or information about a neighborhood that we may not like for our future family, he told us without hesitation. A realtor that is just interested in money would never have gone out of their way to discourage a sale if they didn't think it was right for their client and we can't thank him enough for that. We began to put in offers, but we also became very frustrated by the housing bubble. The market was so hot at the time that whatever house we liked, we were getting outbid each time by either full cash offers or huge bids above asking. Even though we were offering $15,000-$20,000 above asking on certain homes, we were getting pushed out of our price range and outbid each time. Sei initially had asked us if we wanted to consider town homes since we were new buyers, worked A LOT, and wouldn't be having children for several years. I was very resistant to the idea since I had always envisioned myself buying a house with a yard. Well, as the market was getting more and more expensive, Sei brought up the idea again. My wife pushed me to consider it and I finally agreed to let Sei bring us some available town homes. The single family homes we were finding were built in the 1950s or before and were no bigger than 1000 sq ft. Every single one needed a good deal of work before it would be comfortable. Sei immediately found us town homes that were built in the 1980s or never, were turnkey and needed no work, they were cheaper and much closer to where we own our business which is important to us. We ended up buying a 3 bedroom town home from 1984 that is 1,600 sq ft with an amazing master bedroom with an en suite bathroom, office and guest bedroom. It has a 2 car garage, redone kitchen, fireplace and even a small bar area by the balcony! Since it is a town home we are in a small gated community, we like the extra security, and we even have a jacuzzi just out from of our place in a beautiful common area. We wish we had listened to Sei from the beginning! A town home was perfect for first time buyers in terms of price as well as being two full time working professionals that don't have time for the upkeep of the yard. The mortgage is extremely manageable and we didn't have to do any renovations. Sei also negotiated really hard for us and we got the house for $18,000 less than what it was listed for!!! We still have the champagne glasses that Sei got us after the sale closed (we drank the champagne), and we are now looking for to buy our "forever" home in South Torrance in 18 months. I can guarantee you that we will be working with Sei and I already recommend him to everyone I know. Thank you Sei!!!

Well David Goodwin had 2 children running around all over the house making it difficult to take in all that the house offers. You did a real disservice to the owner of the Via Di Roma house. Those kids ran up and down the stairs numerous times, kept opening all the cabinets while we were looking and then you had the audacity to be rude to us saying it's Sunday. Really? I guess if you were a professional you would know how to treat potential buyers and if you were successful you could probably afford a baby sitter. Update - I find it wonderful when kids enjoy open houses to imagine their new home, BUT these were not potential buyers kids, these were yours. Open house as a realtor should be professional not your free babysitting gig. Know the difference...
