We had Reid Heating & Air out for a second opinion after a less-than-great experience elsewhere,…read moreand I'm genuinely glad we did. They were professional, calm, and focused on diagnostics instead of fear or sales pressure. They took the time to actually explain what they were seeing, confirmed that our systems are operating properly, and helped us understand what maintenance made sense versus what absolutely did not need replacing. That reassurance alone will save us thousands, and it was backed up with clear reasoning -- not vague "end-of-life" talk. It was refreshing to deal with a company that treats homeowners with respect and assumes you want facts, not a pitch. We felt listened to, not rushed, and not talked down to. Highly recommend Reid Heating & Air if you want an honest second opinion and professionals who still believe in doing the job the right way.

I have to say that our experience with Tim Benjamin was a very good and I would recommend them…read moreagain, well actually both my wife and I have both recommended them to some of our friends and now it looks like I am recommending them to everyone here on Yelp... It all stated when I was working out of town in July and I received a phone call from my wife in a panic as the house was hot and A/C was not working. This was a bad thing and since we have an older house in downtown and we have upgraded everything except for the electrical and A/C I know it was going to come (just not when I was out of town). We first started calling random A/C companies to get quotes and then while talking to a friend who works for Carrier we got Tim's contact info and called them. We actually received 5 different quotations and Tim's was by far the best value. Other places were quoting the bottom of the line equipment, with Tim we were able to get almost the top of the line equipment for cheaper then most of the other places (because we were able to get a $1,000 rebate from the Manufacture). On the day of installation the crew did great work, Tim him self was actually at the house putting in the A/C. These people have a passion about what they do and were extremely concerned with their quality. I feel that I am very critical with construction since that is what I do for a profession and these guys have done a very good job especially considering they had to install the system in a house that was built in the 50's.
