deep disappointment with Dick's Sporting Goods for its decision to no longer sell firearms,…read moreammunition, and related accessories. As a customer and sportsman, I find it disingenuous that a store with "Sporting Goods" in its name has chosen to turn its back on a core part of American sporting culture. Firearms and hunting sports have been a central component of outdoor recreation for generations. By removing these products from your shelves, Dick's has alienated a significant portion of its customer base--people who engage in legal, responsible shooting sports, hunting, and self-defense. Caving to ideological pressures may win short-term headlines, but it erodes the trust and loyalty of long-standing customers who came to Dick's specifically because it was a one-stop shop for all sporting needs--including firearms. This decision is not only disappointing, it's a clear departure from what your brand originally stood for. If Dick's no longer intends to support the full range of traditional sporting goods, then perhaps it's time to reconsider the name on the front of the store.

I then went back and found it frustrating it was eventually there and had to wait in line again and pull it from the shelf. HOWEVER The manager came to help out, made the line go by super super quick. I told her what had happened she sincerely apologized for the mishap and made it right!! I will definetely go to this Dicks Sporting Goods moving forward. Her name was Sara and turned my whole day around!

It would be great if management would educate these young men so they can offer some expertise in the area of sports equipment. It's not their fault. I would recommend not buying any used gear from Play It Again because 1. They are WAY overpriced and 2. You can find much, much better deals on Facebook marketplace. I bought a set of golf clubs from Play It Again and after doing some research I realized that the clubs were so old that they weren't even in production anymore. Nevermind the fact that there was an additional charge at the register that was not told to me until I looked at the itemized receipt....the clubs were still too expensive for what they were. I went on marketplace and found a way, way better golf club set for less than half the price. I returned the clubs and I am in better shape because of it. No need to hit up this place for used sports equipment. Go elsewhere.

The Rawlings Experience is part showroom, part store, part museum and part batting cage. Of course, pretty much everything they have is baseball related. There's a lower level and an upper level. The lower level focuses on gloves. Baseball gloves, softball gloves, kids' gloves, you name it. There are many unique, specialized gloves that looked really cool. You are free to take them down, try them on, and if you want, buy one. Keep in mind though, that the are about $450/each. So you probably wouldnt want to bring your kid here to get their first glove. There's even an area where you can customize your own glove - pick the color of the leather, the stitching, you can get your name or designs branched onto it, or other personalized touches to make your glove unique. Also on the lower level toward the back is a display of the Gold Gloves. These awards are given to the best fielder at each position in each league every year. They have all the Gold Gloves that they awarded the past year on display and behind that is a room with their Gold Glove hall of fame - the best fielders at each position (those who won the most gold gloves). Each of these players has a locker, jersey and a Gold Glove. Cool! Upstairs is about other equipment, primarily bats. They have metal bats, wood bats, both for baseball and softball. I thought they were pretty cool, but what I really liked was they had a batting cage. There were 2(?) cages with tees where you could hit, and a batting cage where the ball is pitched to you by a machine. The latter looked cool but there was a line, so we didnt do that, but my kid did get to bat off a tee, and that was cool. They have bats and batting helmets for people to use. Upstairs also had batting gloves, backpacks and maybe other sporting goods, also for sale (fortunately at more reasonable prices). Overall, it was a great place to visit and I'd definitely recommend it if you like baseball and are in the St. Louis area.

According to Wikipedia they were established in 1984 and as of 2015 operated 547 stores mostly in shopping malls. Including the St. Louis Galleria in the northern end of level 3. St. Louis is a Major League city and you can say that my dad, bro, and I are a Major League family because we share a common interest in the sport. We'd see four St. Louis Cardinals games from July 29 to August 2. When you take into consideration that the St. Louis Cardinals were a major part of the vacation, it was inevitable that we wanted keepsakes. We just happened to check out Champs when right there in the back stood a wall of professional sports caps. To my surprise in the heart of the Cardinals Nation there was a solid selection of NY Yankees caps. Expectedly there was a grand selection of St. Louis Cardinals caps from the red and white "SL" lettering to the Cardinals on the baseball bat. As it turned out, Champs ran a deal where you can buy one cap and get the other half off. When you take into consideration that the prices are so jacked up in mall stores, it wasn't an exceptional bargain. Additionally, there were vast price differences in the caps. But, I took a liking to the black baseball cap with the red cardinal. You can see it below in the picture at the top center. There ended up being an issue. This was one of the baseball caps that was unadjustable. My head was too big for the limited sizes that they had on display. I'd delay the keepsake. However my dad and bro left Champs with Cardinals caps and socks. Although, I left Champs without a Cardinals cap, I did leave with a new hobby. That hobby is collecting professional team caps from the stadiums that I visit during that vacation. It was the well-merchandised presentation of professional team caps on Champs back wall that planted the seed of this hobby.
