First time trying food from OMG Nafisa's Kitchen! Fast and friendly customer service! Standard clean ambiance of the restaurant. We got Samosas and Butter chicken for dinner - both were good.

OMG Nafisa's Kitchen is off the beaten path from Devon and a hidden gem! We've eaten breakfast, lunch and carryout (dinner). All the food items are halal made with freshly ground spices and ingredients , generously portioned and taste delicious! Overall I'm giving them a solid 9.8! Definitely our new "Go To" Pakistani place. Salman the host is very nice, greeted us each time and served us quickly. Comfortable clean seating. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here. Chicken Frontier Rice

I placed a pickup order from OMG Nafisa's Kitchen and tried the Chicken Frontier Rice (Indian spicy)--the portion was super generous, and the flavor definitely delivered! However, I was a little disappointed that the rice didn't have the bell peppers, onions, or veggies I was expecting. It felt like something was missing to really round it out. On the bright side, the garlic naan was absolutely to die for--buttery, garlicky, and fresh out of the oven. I could eat that on its own, no problem. Overall, great food and solid value, just wish the rice had come with the veggies as described. I'll definitely be back to try more!

Food is solid - interesting mix of Pakistani/Indian food with Mexican/Desi options. Fries were super crispy and delicious. Butter chicken is flavorful with some heat. Naan is top notch! Service is sus. Had to get my own silverware. Drink/Mango Lassi took 45 minutes despite multiple reminders that we still wanted it. One of the dishes we ordered never came out. When we asked about it, the waitress first said she forgot and then said she thought we were kidding. Weird. Why not clarify if there's any confusion?!?! Ambiance is ok. Older furnishings. Sticky table cloths. Could use some updates. Really the service is extremely bad.

    Butter Chicken Taco (3 Taco)

Came here on a Saturday night to a quiet restaurant filled with what seemed like locals. The decorations of the restaurant were a bit corny with dad pun food posters but the service was very friendly. We saw this place on instagram & we were very interested in the butter chicken tacos! You do have to ask for the mexican menu as it doesn't come on the main so keep that in mind when looking for their fusion menu. The butter chicken taco was very cheesy, flavorful, & highly recommend the orange sauce to drench on top. The chef came to check on us after we finished the tacos. He was very interested on our thoughts & loved how passionate he was on getting his menu right as it seemed liked the restaurant was still finding its footing. The beef nihari was on the chefs special & we ordered the garlic naan. The naan was beautiful & the beef was well spiced. It was a new dish for me but it was very tender & loved trying the spice with the lemon & ginger. We ate everything & it was all under $40. Definitely a hole in the wall spot in Morton Grove but great spot to try. I get why OMG is included in the title

I've gotten to go orders twice from here after ordering online through their website. Each time it took at least 25 minutes to be ready (already kind of absurd). There is rarely people eating inside and the ambiance is alright but you can tell it's more of a spot to go. The service is okay too, it is a small family business. I hope they will take the following review as constructive feedback. Out of the 4 dishes i have ordered in total, 3 of them have been absolute disappointments. I have gotten the Mutton Biryani, Butter chicken, seekh kabob, and chicken frontier rice. The Mutton Biryani was the only good thing, although it had more meat than rice I really can't complain about that. The other 3 dishes were bad and nowhere near authentic. Honestly an embarrassment to even have these dishes on the menu. All 3 of them looked and tasted like someone had tried making them at home for the very first time. The butter chicken was at least 20% oil with no butter to be found? It tasted like an oily chicken salan. The seekh kabob were a paste instead of being made with ground beef and closer to shami kabob? I opened the box to find 5 small thick round kabobs and a 1/4 piece just chilling on the side. Honestly found it very hard to swallow these because they were so thick it felt like taking bites of paste. And finally the chicken frontier rice was barely flavored biryani rice mixed with dry boneless chicken pieces, a meh 4/10 at best. After the long waits you would think the food would be better but it's just not. The only saving grace at this place is the portions being generous (not that you'd want that for these dishes) and the prices being reasonable. I cannot recommend.

    Samosas

I had the chicken tikka with biryani and samosas. The samosas came in an order of 4. The pastry shell looks a bit thick and hard. The inside was a bit dense, tasted powdery texture of mash potatoes with peas(?) with spices. I was disappointed at the samosas and cannot finish 1 piece. The chicken tikka was very soft, fall of the bone, overcooked and burnt. Flavors are good. Biryani was decent. Flavor and texture of the rice is good.

Rai Rai 2 reviews a minute ago New Extremely Disappointed - Unacceptable Handling of Qurbani Order I went to pick up my Qurbani order today and was absolutely shocked to see that the meat was packed in black trash bags. When I asked the associate about it, he rudely replied, "That's what we do." I then requested a proper bag or at least something to stop the blood from leaking, as I couldn't place a dripping trash bag in my car. His response? "We ran out of all bags. Nothing is there." I had no choice but to take it as-is. By the time I reached home, the car trunk was soaked in blood. Now, I have to spend extra money on professional detailing to clean the mess. This was the worst experience I've ever had. My family and I have been regular customers, buying meat and groceries from this store, but after today never again. I've also informed my friends and relatives to avoid this place. The way they handle customers especially on such a sacred occasion is disgraceful. There's no respect for the customer, no respect for the trust people place in them during Qurbani. And to top it off, the meat quality and packing looks extremely poor. I'm deeply disappointed and feel cheated. Everyone is free to make their own decisions, but this is my honest review. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through what I went through. In the meantime, I ordered a Hot Chick (medium heat), with a side of fries, some extra pickles, and the garlic sauce to make my Slavic heart happy. The food came out fresh from the bubbling oil, it could be handled without burns, but clearly spent no time under a lamp. Both the chicken and the fries were fried to a delectable crunch. No twice-fried-as-an-excuse here, genuinely well done. My only note is that it feels as though the fries and chicken *may* have spent an extra 15 seconds in the fryer. While the innards were tender, it felt as though a tinge of moisture was sacrificed without need. The fries were seasoned perfectly, and other than the usual delight of dipping them into everything on the plate, they were perfect as they were. Fantastic amount too, not the starch overload of Five Guys, but not a skimpy serving either. The chicken sandwich was the real star. The medium contained some proper spice without having smoke come out the ears. It was well sauced, and had a great hit of acid from the pickles. Out of left field came the slaw: I was not expecting to like this to the point of almost leaving it out. However, it was fresh, felt homemade, and wasn't a mayonnaise bomb. Would order the again without complaints or reservations. I also had a chance to try their house-made lemonade. I appreciate that they use zero-calorie sweetener to cut down on sugars. However, it came out too sweet for my liking. It would be helpful to have options of level and type of sweet. Final notes: The server behind the counter was very welcoming and friendly, and the food came out in a reasonable time frame considering how fresh everything was. Final verdict: A case where I say it's a good thing Nash Bros is a little bit of a hike, otherwise I might visit too much for my health. Barring some minor notes, everything was scrumptious, and I'd happily order it all again (and likely will!)

We got here about 30 minutes before closing time. The restaurant was somewhat busy w/ dine-in and carry-out orders. I ordered their original Nashville Hot fried chicken sandwich made Xtra Hot based on their heat level offerings (which was the highest heat level) and my wife ordered their Honey Butter fried chicken sandwich with mild heat level. I also got their House Fries that were seasoned crinkle cut fries. We asked for cups of water but were told that they were out of cups, so either buy water or can of pop. They did not have fountain drinks. The food came out shortly. My etra hot sandwich tray was tagged as 'Hot' w/ three symbols. I asked them if that meant the sandwich was just 'Hot' and not 'Xtra Hot' and I was told that if I ordered extra hot then it meant it was extra hot. My sandwich was really delicious. The flavor was good and the texture was nice. The Xtra Hot flavor was not overwhelming but also it did not seem like the extra hot they said I should be mindful of because it was going to be very spicy. My sandwich was decently crunchy and the pickles and coleslaw had a tad bit of sweetness that went well with the heat of the fried chicken. The Brioche bun was well toasted. The fried chicken patty was decent in size. The Honey Butter fried chicken was a major letdown. It's a sandwich in Brioche bun w/ fried chicken and only spicy honey butter (no pickles or slaw). The bun and the fried chicken were drenched in melted butter but there was no taste of sweet heat or just sweet honey. The fried chicken patty didn't have any flavor either. We mentioned it to the staff members and they apologized for the way it turned out for us. The crinkle cut fries were okay. They were soft and unevenly seasoned. The seasoning was decent in taste. Overall, we had a decent experience. The service was okay. My original Nashville hot chicken was delicious but the Honey Butter chicken sandwich was anything but delicious. The restaurant aesthetics were decent. They have a live band performance area. It's a nice, friendly restaurant with a decent menu variety. We weren't wowed by the food but I would say that the original Nashville Hot fried chicken sandwich was worth trying.

It's located in a nice strip mall building, modern looking. This is an order at the counter type of restaurant. Has some spicy ass food. There's a sort of Mediterranean fast food kind of feel too. It's about $10 for one of the Rice Bowls. The vegan option for protein is the falafel. These were plentiful, a good value. Also you get a choice of sauce, and I got the creamy hummus. This also came with hot and white garlic sauce. It was fucking ass hot. This had serious hot peppers in there. For sure I would go here again. It's expensive so not all the time of course.
