I only usually her pedicures done & never get my fingernails done. But decided since I was going on vacation and my daughter was getting acrylic put on her nails I had mine done also. The nails were so thick that they were uncomfortable. After our vacation I went back to have them removed. The technician pried each nail off using a fake fingernail. even with me telling her that it hurt and pulling my hands away from her she continued to remove them in this tortuous manner. I've been going here for years. With this latest transfer of the business to new owners (Ive seen 3 now), I am no longer a client. Everything has been overhauled and some things are an improvement. However, as a nail spa, there's an expectation of relaxation and quiet. When the owner's (or employee's?) toddler is running around, climbing up on the pedi chairs and looking to clients to engage and entertain him, there's a problem. That the parent didn't stop the behavior is a bigger problem. Further, the business model is now more mechanical than personal and that take a away from the previous comfortable vibe that existed. Finally, I had a personal experience that I won't detail here, but will share that I was disrespected after exchanging words, privately, with the owner about the process upon entering. When I believe we had resolved it, she turned around and began to talk about me and the discussion to all of the employees across the space (as if I didn't know what she was doing because she was speaking Vietnamese). There are too many options to be mistreated and to not set your business apart positively. read more

Second time here in the past month. I got ombré with Steven for the first time and I love it! Last time I got dip with nail art which was tag teamed with Emily. Service is quick and I am always happy that Steven doesn't burn my nails when removing the dip. I've gone to other places that hurt me with the shaver. Appt process is quick and easy online. This nail spa has very polite and fast working staff members. They do a great job at typical nail care such as manicures, tips, acrylic, dip and gel. Some shaping as well. I've visited a few years and those services were the same however all of the amenities were quite different. I received a gift certificate to this location and so I traveled here for that first visit. They previously had featured perks such as champagne, wine, teas water and certain products for your self care. And so I ventured here again to be pampered and that was not the case. This may be because of Covid, all of their staff members seem to be present but maybe the funds aren't there to supply those extra items anymore. I hope they bring them back. Like I said the service was good and the styles were like any other nail spa so I hope they can provide the extra care because it's really what set them apart from all of the other nail spas and it's why I drove over to see them. Darlene is my go to person and gets booked up easily so I usually have to call 4 days in advance since I have a busy schedule so ensure that I get an appointment at a time that works and is convenient. Irresponsible, unprofessional and rude. Had a fungus on my thumb 8 months ago and they didn't blink an eye and attached a tip, the fungus became worse and they didn't care. Needed medication and months without nail polish. Went back thinking it wouldn't happen again and because it's conveniently located, only to discover I have another fungus on my large toe nail this time. The nail technician didn't care, or look concerned, just continued with pedicure. Wondering how many others were infected as I was. To make matters worse I was also cut during manicure. Ownership keeps changing names, same people, just playing the "new owner" game, I'm guessing thats their way of avoiding issues. Stay clear of this dump. read more

This nail salon is a JOKE!!!!! Just got my nails done a couple days ago and the white nail polish turned gray and is all chipped off....and they REFUSE to redo my nails. "Hannah" told me "It's their policy that your nails can chip and discolor after a few days and they aren't responsible for that" WTF????? What kind of CIRCUS are they running?? And then she blamed me for using lotion and saying that made them discolor??? I can't even use lotion because of my skin being sensitive. 1st she said it was their POLICY that it could discolor and then blamed me and said I had to use lotion to make them discolor and chip??? This is a review for Pedicure only. Tried the Hot Stone Lavender Spa Pedicure ($32). I probably should have just gone with the regular Hot Stone Spa Pedicure ($25) as I am not sure what extras the Lavender Pedicure had except a lavender scrub. Perhaps some extra massage as the length of the massage was a bit more than the average pedicure. At the end of the massage, the tech did use the hot stones which felt really nice, but she only used them for about 30 seconds on each foot. Otherwise, the rest of the pedicure was very pedestrian. I did not think the nail grooming was very meticulous. I don't even expect great attention to callouses at pedicures (unless they are at a podiatrist) but the attention here was virtually nonexistent. A cursory swipe with a stone and that was it; not even an attempt at a scrub. This was one of the fastest spa pedicures I have ever had and I felt rushed, like they were trying to rush me in and out of the chair. I did not find the front desk or nail tech to be warm at all. I was not offered water or coffee. This salon is not far from me but just a little more out of the way than I am used to going....too far for me to go for this type of service again. For now a three because of the decent massage. Will see how long the polish lasts and might have to revise depending on that. read more

Anyone that knows me knows I hang out in Broward more than my hm town of Dade. After getting my hair done I decided to check out a nail salon bcuz I knew once I made it back down south that my nail tech would be packed. I decided to look on yelp and see what the fellow Yelpers had ranked. Seeing that this place has 4 1/2 stars I was tempted to check it out. I must say, the salon is impeccably clean and tranquil. The receptionist Brittany was extremely nice and helpful. I had to wait a while giveth it's a pretty busy salon but it's not a chaotic scene though. I was soon seen by Bac. I must say that one of the owners Jenny, she looked right over me and took the customer that came after me. Maybe she was "profiling" and thought I wouldn't tip or something lol but the receptionist did tell her I was next and was waiting a while. But she still took the other customer. One star taken away. I was then seated for my mani and I must say that the massage on my hands felt great. They also offer a bottle of water. But the best part is when the are down massaging your hands and wrap them in hot towels, they have u lean over and rest your head on the table and massage your neck and shoulders! I was like wtf in a very good way though lol! You can't even get a proper massage on your hands now and days when getting a mani. Next was the pedi. The pedi was awesome as well. After exfoliating and lotioning they bring hot stones out to massage your legs w. Now that's what u call relaxation and a good hour to yourself. The only reason why I can only give 3 stars is bcuz even though the massages and service were nice, the polish job and cuticle cutting were horrible! The guy was too nice for me to be like uh, no. I'll return but maybe go to someone else. All in all, great atmosphere. Owner Jenny need to learn manners. Technician that did my nails need to learn how to paint and cut cuticles better. I went on Friday December 11th to get my nails done with my friend, she had hers done by Soledad and I had mine done by Jenni, the owner. My friend went ahead of me because Jenni wasn't ready yet. when it was my turn Jenni rushed through it and we were done before my friend was who started before me. At first I thought , well maybe she's just faster because she's been doing it longer...well fast forward to today December 19th...one week later and 7 of my 10 gel nails have already peeled off. My friend who had hers done by Soledad looks brands new. Not only did they not offer to fix them for me free of charge but they wouldn't even give me a partial refund. This was my first and last time at this place. What's worse is that they told me to come in only to say that they won't fix it for free. What a waste if my time and money. read more

The color options are very limited, I picked an essie color and the tech told me it would be an extra $3 per hand/foot. Seriously? Instead I got some mediocre color that I didn't want, paid way to much and frankly I hate how my nails look. The corners of my nails aren't painted. The tech was okay, not mean or anything but her nails kept poking me and it sometimes hurt, mostly she was just talking to get collegues in w/e language. Julie does an incredible job with nails, has great customer service, and is always interested to hear about how life is going. I have done everything from gel, dip and a basic polish change and have not been disappointed. The seats are also really comfortable and the entire shop feels clean and put together. 01/25/2020 Saturday: I was a walk in and waited 30 min. I got black dipped nails and pedicure. Pedicure was below average. What I didn't like is that my tech kept getting up to attend customers who walked in. I found this annoying and distracting because most nail places have a front door host. I also felt my tech did not get enough of my cuticles and the massage was careless. Then for the dip, he was like tossing my fingers. Tbh I just did not like the vibe. Employees seemed disconnected and morale seem low. 01/28/2020 Tuesday: Not even one full week later my thumb nail chipped. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Not only did my nail polish chip the next day but several more nails chipped even after I went back to have them fixed . I arrived on a not-so-busy day, meaning that there were about 3-4 nail techs on the floor each working on someone. Being the nice person that I am, I gave them about 10 minutes to AT LEAST (the bare minimum) greet me as I picked out my color. No one even bothered to lift up their head to say a simple "hello!" so I left :) It literally cost nothing to acknowledge people, especially someone who's trying to pay you for your services. People with drops of melanin beware, because even when you're a paying customer they still don't give a crap. Anyways, I took my behind to Nail & Spa Studio II (4706 S Flamingo Rd, Cooper City, FL 33330) & I haven't looked back. Not only do they treat all their clients, regardless of color, with respect they are also super welcoming & friendly. Thanks to the review from Elizabeth L, I learned about this salon about 10 minutes away from my house. Had I known this gem was so close to me, I would have been going here 3 years ago instead of bouncing all over South Florida trying to find the perfect place. I couldn't wait to get home to write it lol Located in a nice clean plaza in Cooper City, Omega Nail is tucked away in the corner next to Vecky's bakery. I walked in & requested a gel manicure. I had my service done with Lois who was a pleasure. She took care of me and made an effort to have small talk even though her English wasn't the best. The best part about this place is the mini massage they give you after your manicure. They massage your hands, arms, neck, & back! Imagine my surprise when she told me to put my head down! I was completely floored b/c it was so unexpected. I paid the same amount as I do at other salons and got an added bonus of the awesome massage! As I'm sitting getting my manicure, I see a lady getting a pedicure and I had to ask what kind of pedicure it was. It looked like a specialty pedicure b/c of the intense massage the lady was getting. Lois surprised me and said it's the regular pedicure and we massage your feet with hot stones. Sign me up! I decided to get a pedi too! Best decision I've made in a long time! While my services were being completed I had to ask the technician was he having a bad day because of his attitude. As I was paying, the manager never made eye contact with me or cracked a smile. HORRIBLE!! I tried this spa since I was looking for a new shop and this is relatively close to my house. As I was getting my manicure, I told the tech that I did not think it was the correct color but he didn't acknowledge my statement; he only responded back by saying "this is the color you chose". It definitely wasn't. I told him as such. Quite vehemently, actually. I got nowhere with this; he was obstinate and refused to listen to me. It was as if HE was doing ME a favor. I then went back a few days later to show them that the dip was cracking and was not put on evenly. To my dismay, they would not accept any responsibility and said that they would repair TWO of my nails since those were the worst! They were unwilling to do anything else to fix THEIR mistake. Lleana and Amy are correct. They are starting to decline in service and the female owner can be rude at times. The last time I was there I saw to young male and female employees making out in one of the back corner massage chairs as I was heading towards the back to use the bathroom. So I was a bit disappointed. I read all the hype on the shoulder massage and I did not get one :-( However, Adrianna at the desk provided superb service. I did get a glass of wine, even though no one offered me a refill....I cam in around 5:30 pm. and then waited a while for nails and waited more for pedicure even though girls who came later started one... Also my nails I wanted pic and white and they are pretty french plain clear :-( The pedicure was good with good massage and hot stone but the guy was rough! $30 gel refill french $30 pedi french. Very nice clean location very therapeutic. I will try one more time but I was disappointed. Also if you decide to try it , make sure to make an appointment!!! I ended up having to go back the next day as a nail broke doing nothing but washing my hair? When I went back I shared with Bolo the owner about my dissatisfaction and he offered to fix my nails over in the pink gel and white for no charge.
