I want to start by saying that I have been a loyal, consistent client for quite some time and have recommended your business to many friends and family. I understand that the spa has recently come under new ownership, and I wanted to keep that in mind while writing this. That said, I was extremely disappointed that the gift cards purchased under the previous ownership were not honored. While I understand ownership has changed, those gift cards were purchased in good faith by customers who trusted your business. When acquiring an existing business, there is also an expectation that customer commitments will be handled appropriately. At the very least, I believe some type of accommodation or credit should have been offered as a gesture of goodwill. Simply refusing to honor them left a very poor impression. Additionally, the quality of service has noticeably declined from what I have consistently experienced in the past. During previous visits, the foot massage included a relaxing upper-body component, with time spent massaging the shoulders, back, and scalp. While I understand services can change, this was never communicated and was disappointing compared to the experience I had come to expect. Unfortunately, there were several issues during our visit that made the experience feel unprofessional. The gentleman performing my foot massage appeared to be falling asleep between strokes, which made it difficult to relax and raised concerns about the quality of care being provided. My mother was celebrating her birthday, and the technician performing her massage spent the first several minutes engaged in a conversation while texting on her phone. We could hear text notifications throughout the service. A massage should be a peaceful, uninterrupted experience, and this level of distraction was disappointing and disrespectful to paying clients. To add to that, the technician performing my sister's massage wore headphones during the service, and the audio from what she was listening to was clearly audible. This further took away from the relaxing atmosphere we expected. Overall, I left feeling very disappointed. As someone who has supported and recommended your business over the years, I felt compelled to share this feedback in the hope that meaningful improvements will be made. I've been coming to Oriental Qi Spa for over 10 years, usually for last-minute fixes. I typically do the hour foot and chair combo, but this week, after straining my neck I went for a 30-minute back massage. When I walked in, it was hotter inside than outside. The AC was either off or set high and there was even a fan blowing that same 80-degree air around--so not comfortable at all. I had some communication issues with the front desk (nothing new), but they asked me to pay before the massage, which never happened before. I figured maybe they had past issues, so I let it slide. Then I got to the massage table. The disposable face cover had lipstick on it, so I wasn't about to put my face there. I waited until the therapist returned and told her. She replaced it, but I was still pretty grossed out. Honestly, I wouldn't put my naked body on those tables for a full-body massage in that condition. That said, the massage was strong and deep. She adjusted the pressure when I asked and used the full 30 minutes. She found the knots, though I still left with some--I have chronic issues, so no miracle expected. I'll stick to foot and chair massages next time. The quality of the massage is there, but with that heat and the table setup, I wouldn't do a full-body until they sort that out. read more

My only discomfort was that there was a change in location for the foot portion of the massage after the body portion. I feel like I would've been more relaxed if that didn't occur. First of all, when my friend and I entered the establishment, the owner was yelling in front of all the customers about things that she was doing wrong. It was very uncomfortable, and definitely not a relaxing atmosphere. The listing says they take Apple Pay but that is not true. My friend paid with a card for the appointment then I said I would go next-door to get cash from Publix. They assured me it was OK to send a Zelle. I added the information, and the woman confirmed it was her correct information and sent it. But she does not have Zelle set up on her phone with her bank, so it didn't go through right away and would take a few days to process. The woman chased us down in the parking lot, yelling at us that we did not tip her, made us come back into the establishment, and was trying to make us tip them again from another app. So basically we would have tipped them twice. None of them understood enough English to understand what a pending or processing feature is. I even called my bank in front of them, with her on speakerphone, to assure them the funds would be there, but she probably just didn't have Zelle set up on her phone so it would take a while. Finally, they agreed and understood and let us go. Not even an hour later, they started harassing us from different phone numbers saying that we had not paid our tip yet. It was the most mind-boggling experience I've dealt with in a long time. Not to mention, since leaving my friend and I both have had excruciating back pain. That was worse than it was before we came to have our full body massages. I've been going here for years and years and never had this issue. Sometimes they are difficult to deal with because of the language barrier, but this was unacceptable. I will never return to this establishment and I do not recommend anyone that is looking to have a peaceful Zen and stress-free experience to come here. read more

I like that as my feet are soaking while I am getting a back and neck massage. Afterwards feet are dried and then you lie down and a blanket is placed on you , this makes me feel like a child being tucked in . He or she who ever is working on you massages the feet and calves as well as arms and hands. I want to know what lotion they use because you do not leave greasy. I suppose I regret not going earlier to get a longer massage. I went shortly after they opened and was seen immediately. They were kind and attentive. I had a sensitive spot on my lower back and they offered use of a balm, I think was a couple dollars extra. It helps so much. Like a tiger balm. I did a 30 min neck and back massage and a 30 minute foot massage. I highly recommend this. It was so relaxing. I heard about this place from my sister, and when she mentioned the prices, I thought, "Why not give it a try?" I must say, I'd love to make this a weekly treat. I booked an hour of foot reflexology, which also included a shoulder and neck rub. Since the service isn't done in a private room, I brought my noise-canceling headphones, and they worked wonders--I fell into a deep sleep! I'd also recommend bringing something to cover your eyes for complete relaxation. While the decor isn't anything fancy, I'll take an amazing foot rub over aesthetics any day. When I lay down on the bed, an older man came in to give me the massage. I explained to him that I asked for a girl and there was no way I would let him touch me. The local is okay, my only complaint is how thin the walls were, conversations could easily be heard which was distracting while in my massage. The massage itself was fantastic. They were very accommodating in giving me a last minute appointment. I called at 11:30AM on a Sunday because my boyfriend's back was killing him and by 12:30PM we had an appointment for a 90 minute couples massage (60 min full body + 30 min foot massage). Don't expect it to be like having a massage at a hotel spa or anything. Even their "private" room is not so private (can see through) and is not as quiet as I would have liked. I brought my bf there for us to have a nice relaxing massage. We got the one hour foot massage. OK people, this was literally the best Asian foot massage I have ever had! Oh my goodness I would drive all the way back down to Fort Lauderdale from Jacksonville to go to this place. Maybe I should just take the Guy home with me. So the place is located in a strip mall next to the Publix. It did take me a minute to find it. I had called ahead and made an appointment so when I got there they were ready for me. It was easy and pleasant making an appointment and they spoke good English. You know this is rare in an Asian foot massage place. When you go in everything is very hushed they do not speak out loud just in whispers and they have soothing music playing. Their massage chairs recline all the way flat if you want. When you go in they soak your feet like most places but instead of ignoring you like most places while your feet are soaking they rub your shoulders and your neck and they really get in there with their elbows it was amazing. Then they massage your arms and hands for a couple minutes also. They do this with actual lotion even. I almost passed out sitting up on that stool he did such a good job. Then came the foot massage and they recline you as far as you would like to recline. They have these fragrant Eye masks that they put on your eyes to block out the light and vision and between that and the silence except for the soothing music it really just takes you away. I was literally in a coma while the guy was rubbing my feet. They also rub your calfs and your thighs for a couple minutes too. And when it was all over it was only $38 for an hour! What?? This was the worst place I have ever been, first of all they don't speak English. I requested a female but they gave me a male when I specifically told them on the phone I preferred a female. They said they would have a female available -THEY LIED! When I asked the guy to stop he just shushed me and kept going when I told him it is hurting me MULTIPLE times!!! I even said stop and put my hand on my stomach to stop so he understands but he still kept going and increased the pressure. Last night, I went to get a massage here for the first time. The massage itself was very relaxing until... the man massaging me near my groin area LIFTED MY UNDERWEAR AND STUCK HIS HAND INSIDE OF MY UNDERWEAR AND CUPED MY VAGINA. I immediately said something. Although I was very taken aback. I have had MANY massages and have never had this happen to me. After the massage was complete, I went up to the front desk to tell the man, which I assumed might be the studio owner. However, he ignored me, and acted like he did not understand me. He proceeded to ask about the tip. I repeated once again what happen and I told him that I did not want to leave a tip. He again, acted like he did not understand. Frustratingly, I said $5.00. Where the man said that a tip is 20%. I again repeated what happen. Annoyed after repeating myself 3 times I told him to leave a $15.00 tip. Somehow he understood that. Knowing that this happen to me feels ..... disgusting. It makes me feel taken advantage of and it makes me feel angry. I am sure that I am not the first person he's done that to. So for that I am leaving this review. So that other women know, that by coming here, they will not be safe. And they will be taking the chance - that they may also get MOLESTED. What a random event. I was driving by Qi foot spa and didn't even know it. Class had just let out at the place I go on Friday nights and I was heading east to get home. I somewhat randomly checked my bookmarks on Yelp to see what all was in the area, as any Yelper might. And there was Qi. I booked marked at least a year ago when I saw a friend right that besides being the rare foot massage place in South Florida, it was a pretty good one at that. And I will whole heartedly concur. I walked in to a interior that was zen. It was peacefully quiet, with the hostess whispering even. I asked for the 30 minute and was led to a ginormous chair that was then reclined back. The place was packed, with everyone at different stages of their foot massage. Some even had rocks resting on them. My attendant was great. Destressing my tired dogs that had had a long day. They even spent some time on the calves and legs. It was so relaxing I almost dosed off.
