Absolutely unprofessional and dishonest business practices. I have been a customer of this spa for years. Ever since they changed management, it has been an absolute disaster! I've been a couple of times since for foot massages with my wife and the ladies working on us were talking with each other and giggling like 12 year old girls. Anything but relaxing! To top it off, I was given a $48 gift card for a one-hour massage that was purchased on February 13, 2026. The gift card clearly states it is valid for 180 days and does not expire until August 12, 2026. On August 5, I called to schedule an appointment for August 6--a full week before the gift card expired. The employee asked when the gift card had been purchased. The moment I told her the purchase date, she flatly said "No" and refused to schedule my appointment or honor the gift card. There was no explanation, no attempt to help, and no offer of another appointment. Instead, I was treated with rudeness and hostility. Selling gift cards and then refusing to honor them while they are still valid is unacceptable. It feels like they are happy to take your money but have no intention of providing the service they promised. I will be filing a complaint with the Florida Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division and the BBB because consumers deserve better than deceptive business practices. If you're thinking about buying a gift card here, don't. You may end up paying for a service you never receive. read more

I want to start by saying that I have been a loyal, consistent client for quite some time and have recommended your business to many friends and family. I understand that the spa has recently come under new ownership, and I wanted to keep that in mind while writing this. That said, I was extremely disappointed that the gift cards purchased under the previous ownership were not honored. While I understand ownership has changed, those gift cards were purchased in good faith by customers who trusted your business. When acquiring an existing business, there is also an expectation that customer commitments will be handled appropriately. At the very least, I believe some type of accommodation or credit should have been offered as a gesture of goodwill. Simply refusing to honor them left a very poor impression. Additionally, the quality of service has noticeably declined from what I have consistently experienced in the past. During previous visits, the foot massage included a relaxing upper-body component, with time spent massaging the shoulders, back, and scalp. While I understand services can change, this was never communicated and was disappointing compared to the experience I had come to expect. Unfortunately, there were several issues during our visit that made the experience feel unprofessional. The gentleman performing my foot massage appeared to be falling asleep between strokes, which made it difficult to relax and raised concerns about the quality of care being provided. My mother was celebrating her birthday, and the technician performing her massage spent the first several minutes engaged in a conversation while texting on her phone. We could hear text notifications throughout the service. A massage should be a peaceful, uninterrupted experience, and this level of distraction was disappointing and disrespectful to paying clients. To add to that, the technician performing my sister's massage wore headphones during the service, and the audio from what she was listening to was clearly audible. This further took away from the relaxing atmosphere we expected. Overall, I left feeling very disappointed. As someone who has supported and recommended your business over the years, I felt compelled to share this feedback in the hope that meaningful improvements will be made. Professionalism, attentiveness, and creating a relaxing environment are the foundation of a quality spa experience, and unfortunately, this visit fell well below that standard. read more

I've been coming to Oriental Qi Spa for over 10 years, usually for last-minute fixes. I typically do the hour foot and chair combo, but this week, after straining my neck I went for a 30-minute back massage. When I walked in, it was hotter inside than outside. The AC was either off or set high and there was even a fan blowing that same 80-degree air around--so not comfortable at all. I had some communication issues with the front desk (nothing new), but they asked me to pay before the massage, which never happened before. I figured maybe they had past issues, so I let it slide. Then I got to the massage table. The disposable face cover had lipstick on it, so I wasn't about to put my face there. I waited until the therapist returned and told her. She replaced it, but I was still pretty grossed out. Honestly, I wouldn't put my naked body on those tables for a full-body massage in that condition. That said, the massage was strong and deep. She adjusted the pressure when I asked and used the full 30 minutes. She found the knots, though I still left with some--I have chronic issues, so no miracle expected. I'll stick to foot and chair massages next time. The quality of the massage is there, but with that heat and the table setup, I wouldn't do a full-body until they sort that out. read more

They updated their interior! I've been coming to this place for years now. My husband and I always come together and we get the full body massage plus foot massage. They've always had just one private room. They updated the space and it now has a section that has a more private space separated by dividers. The new setup looks very nice. The massage itself is always very good. It takes away all tension and knots on my back. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. The air conditioning didn't work, and the sheets were visibly dirty, which made the entire place feel uncomfortable and unsanitary. The staff were extremely pushy and pressured us into leaving a tip of more than $10 instead of allowing us to choose the amount ourselves. The previous management was much better since the change, the quality of the service and the overall experience have seriously declined. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning. read more

Please please please listen to these reviews. MOST OF THE HIGH REVIEWS ARE FROM 4+ YEARS AGO WHEN THE OLD TEAM WAS THERE!! My experience today with this place was TERRIBLE. On the top of the services being super pricey the one lady with lashes a good amount of these reviews are complaining about is very rude and pushy. The ladies giving the massages were very kind but this place has gone down hill FAST after the old employees (Jake was my fav) left back to China. Starting off the AC was not working and it was terribly hot, I only asked for a neck and shoulder massage and they put in a private room for a full body massage that was around $70. They do not wash the sheets as you can smell the customers previously on it, smelled like the oils and dirt of previous people it was terrible. The massage overall was okay but what was terrible was afterwards my mom was not happy about the service, we expressed it and the same terrible lady up front won't let you leave unless you give a MINIMUM tip of $10 each. My mom left and I was held back. I did give a tip to the lady who did the massage because she was kind and I did not want to cause more chaos but this place is just such a disgrace to how it used to be. Please listen to the 1 star reviews and take your money else where I BEG!!!! read more

This place was good until they changed owners. We purchased gift cards in advanced for about 800$ and 15 (1 hour foot massages) they rejected the gift cards due to changed owners... 800$ in the drain and no comp or compassion for a valued customer for a very long time. Sorry to say this business will go down eventually sadly! read more

I am with other individuals who posted about being a loyal customer to this spa for years. I have been going to this spa and it was like a hidden gem in the strip mall for at least 10 years. It was the highlight of my week after a tough workout! I am in total agreement that when new management (?)/ ownership (?) took over there were drastic changes and none for the btter. The previous staff was kind, outgoing and I knew thir names. Now, at the front desk, there is a woman who is either yelling, talking loudly, shouting commands at the technicians, or immediate starting with the upselling. I went in for 1 60 minute foot massage and the therapist told me thatt the woman at the front was making her do a 30 minute foot/ 30 minute body massage combo despite the the fact that this was not what I wanted. All of this pushing for an extra $10? I appreciated the technician's honesty but then she went on to confide in me in a low voice by whispering in my ear about the new management, how much she hated the place and how all the customers were leaving. I, too, have gift certificates from the "old" management and I am sure they will not be honored nor do I think I even want to go back. There was a lot of noise in general- cell phones, talking, etc.- and while it may seem small, no offer of small bottled water when paying. I hope that someone from the establishment reads this and understands that while pushing for more expensive services may result in profit in the short term, over the long term, there will be a decline in profits because customers will not return. I, as a long time loyal client, do not plan on going back. I am extremely disappointed. read more

Tried this place last night. I got a 30 min body and foot massage. The massage was great I have no complaints. My only discomfort was that there was a change in location for the foot portion of the massage after the body portion. I feel like I would've been more relaxed if that didn't occur. The price is great for a massage in a crunch time. read more

They've renovated looks very nice and clean. Reasonable prices. I always do combination of body and feet.

First of all, when my friend and I entered the establishment, the owner was yelling in front of all the customers about things that she was doing wrong. It was very uncomfortable, and definitely not a relaxing atmosphere. The listing says they take Apple Pay but that is not true. My friend paid with a card for the appointment then I said I would go next-door to get cash from Publix. They assured me it was OK to send a Zelle. I added the information, and the woman confirmed it was her correct information and sent it. But she does not have Zelle set up on her phone with her bank, so it didn't go through right away and would take a few days to process. The woman chased us down in the parking lot, yelling at us that we did not tip her, made us come back into the establishment, and was trying to make us tip them again from another app. So basically we would have tipped them twice. None of them understood enough English to understand what a pending or processing feature is. I even called my bank in front of them, with her on speakerphone, to assure them the funds would be there, but she probably just didn't have Zelle set up on her phone so it would take a while. Finally, they agreed and understood and let us go. Not even an hour later, they started harassing us from different phone numbers saying that we had not paid our tip yet. It was the most mind-boggling experience I've dealt with in a long time. Not to mention, since leaving my friend and I both have had excruciating back pain. That was worse than it was before we came to have our full body massages. I've been going here for years and years and never had this issue. Sometimes they are difficult to deal with because of the language barrier, but this was unacceptable. I will never return to this establishment and I do not recommend anyone that is looking to have a peaceful Zen and stress-free experience to come here. read more

I guess these people know me as a regular customer. I love having all the kinks on my shoulders out and soaking my feet in the warm water feels good. I like that as my feet are soaking while I am getting a back and neck massage. Afterwards feet are dried and then you lie down and a blanket is placed on you , this makes me feel like a child being tucked in . He or she who ever is working on you massages the feet and calves as well as arms and hands. I want to know what lotion they use because you do not leave greasy. For 39.00 with tax I leave there feeling pretty good . The only problem I have is I want this everyday. read more

Hi! I have had a "crick in my neck" for a few weeks now. Recently, it went back to day 1 in pain and stiffness. I had to go somewhere. So I stopped by this place and I regret nothing. I suppose I regret not going earlier to get a longer massage. I went shortly after they opened and was seen immediately. They were kind and attentive. I had a sensitive spot on my lower back and they offered use of a balm, I think was a couple dollars extra. It helps so much. Like a tiger balm. I did a 30 min neck and back massage and a 30 minute foot massage. I highly recommend this. It was so relaxing. It looks like a great place to swing through for a lunch time back rub, or foot massage. This is highly recommended! They do couple massages too. read more

I heard about this place from my sister, and when she mentioned the prices, I thought, "Why not give it a try?" I must say, I'd love to make this a weekly treat. I booked an hour of foot reflexology, which also included a shoulder and neck rub. Since the service isn't done in a private room, I brought my noise-canceling headphones, and they worked wonders--I fell into a deep sleep! I'd also recommend bringing something to cover your eyes for complete relaxation. While the decor isn't anything fancy, I'll take an amazing foot rub over aesthetics any day. I've been to high-end spas and haven't always been impressed, but this is a fantastic way to unwind without spending a fortune. read more

I had never come to this place before and I was very pleased! when I arrived the place looked very clean and nice, good location, I set my own timer and paid $28 for 30 min foot massage, the Massage started with a short but great rub from the arms to the hands and right away he started on my feet it was good in general but I felt more like a rub than a massage. Michael the masseur at the end sat me down and did a little five minute massage on my shoulders and back with a towel on top, it was good but Not amazing read more

I made an appointment for an hour of body massage and another half hour for just my feet. I asked for a girl to give me the massage. When I lay down on the bed, an older man came in to give me the massage. I explained to him that I asked for a girl and there was no way I would let him touch me. So he called the manager who explained to me that he didn't have a girl right now and I had to wait a few minutes for her to arrive. In addition, there was no way she could give me the foot massage because she had a customer waiting for her. It was very disappointing. read more

I always feel better when I walk out versus when I walk in! The atmosphere is soothing and comfortable. They were able to accommodate me on the same day for a deep tissue massage. The local is okay, my only complaint is how thin the walls were, conversations could easily be heard which was distracting while in my massage. The massage itself was fantastic. I didn't have to say which area needed extra attention, my masseuse knew and he did a great job of addressing it. The pricing was very fair, $70 for 60 min deep tissue. For a Swedish massage it would've been $60 instead. read more

Complete waste of my time ; patience & money. Where do I begin... Walked in its an open floor plan so they put you behind a curtain; you hear all the commotion that's happening-around you. The guy is a waste of space; he stayed on my shoulders and neck the entire time and i told the front door guy, my lower back was the problem area.. I wanted a full deep tissue massage and received an elbow roll that was annoying the shit out of me; I couldn't wait until he told me the 60min were up!!! Im an avid massage receiver and i dont know what that crap was. Now i have to pay double today; to get a better massage from someone else. Nothing about this experience relaxed or helped me. Please beware the only thing this place did for me was run me right back into the arms of another establishment; i can now appreciate the service I received there; because today showed me its hard to find a good masseuse... HORRIBLE HORRIBLE RIP OFF!!! Save your money my back hurts worst leaving then when I walked in. read more

They were very accommodating in giving me a last minute appointment. I called at 11:30AM on a Sunday because my boyfriend's back was killing him and by 12:30PM we had an appointment for a 90 minute couples massage (60 min full body + 30 min foot massage). Don't expect it to be like having a massage at a hotel spa or anything. Even their "private" room is not so private (can see through) and is not as quiet as I would have liked. But they really know how to get in those knots and stretch you out. I'd have to say at times it gets borderline painful but that's how I like it. Get those kinks out. No pain no gain lol just kidding. Overall, I would come back if I just needed someone to do some body work on me in a pinch read more

This place is awesome. Upon walking in, I noticed it was seemly lit which created a soothing calming vibe. It was quiet and looked very clean. I brought my bf there for us to have a nice relaxing massage. We got the one hour foot massage. Originally I signed up for the 30 minute massage but once the massage therapist held my arm and started the massage I quickly changed it to an hour . The guy massage my arms, legs and paid close attention to my feet. The massage was so relaxing and it felt therapeutic. I eased into a restful peaceful slumber. My massage was amazing. It was my bfs first foot massage and he ranted and raved about how much he needed that amazing massage. Definitely go to this place if you want a relaxing, peaceful massage. OK people, this was literally the best Asian foot massage I have ever had! Oh my goodness I would drive all the way back down to Fort Lauderdale from Jacksonville to go to this place. Maybe I should just take the Guy home with me. So the place is located in a strip mall next to the Publix. It did take me a minute to find it. I had called ahead and made an appointment so when I got there they were ready for me. It was easy and pleasant making an appointment and they spoke good English. You know this is rare in an Asian foot massage place. When you go in everything is very hushed they do not speak out loud just in whispers and they have soothing music playing. Their massage chairs recline all the way flat if you want. When you go in they soak your feet like most places but instead of ignoring you like most places while your feet are soaking they rub your shoulders and your neck and they really get in there with their elbows it was amazing. Then they massage your arms and hands for a couple minutes also. They do this with actual lotion even. I almost passed out sitting up on that stool he did such a good job. Then came the foot massage and they recline you as far as you would like to recline. They have these fragrant Eye masks that they put on your eyes to block out the light and vision and between that and the silence except for the soothing music it really just takes you away. I was literally in a coma while the guy was rubbing my feet. They also rub your calfs and your thighs for a couple minutes too. And when it was all over it was only $38 for an hour! What?? I didn't even have a coupon. Make no mistake I will be back here every time I am in town I wonder what's the longest massage you can get... read more

This was the worst place I have ever been, first of all they don't speak English. I requested a female but they gave me a male when I specifically told them on the phone I preferred a female. They said they would have a female available -THEY LIED! When I asked the guy to stop he just shushed me and kept going when I told him it is hurting me MULTIPLE times!!! I even said stop and put my hand on my stomach to stop so he understands but he still kept going and increased the pressure. I tried to use my hands again to stop but he would grab my hand and firmly put it on the table! He made me bleed where I had my C-section 40 years ago. I'm in so much pain, bleeding and in tears. Pretty decent place. Went on a Sunday night, got a foot massage. A lot of it was body massage, so I thought that was a bit useless. But when she finally got to the feet it felt really nice. I don't normally leave reviews. Especially to hop onto a small business page to bash them because I too have a small business. However, something needs to be said. Last night, I went to get a massage here for the first time. The massage itself was very relaxing until... the man massaging me near my groin area LIFTED MY UNDERWEAR AND STUCK HIS HAND INSIDE OF MY UNDERWEAR AND CUPED MY VAGINA. I immediately said something. Although I was very taken aback. I have had MANY massages and have never had this happen to me. After the massage was complete, I went up to the front desk to tell the man, which I assumed might be the studio owner. However, he ignored me, and acted like he did not understand me. He proceeded to ask about the tip. I repeated once again what happen and I told him that I did not want to leave a tip. He again, acted like he did not understand. Frustratingly, I said $5.00. Where the man said that a tip is 20%. I again repeated what happen. Annoyed after repeating myself 3 times I told him to leave a $15.00 tip. Somehow he understood that. Knowing that this happen to me feels ..... disgusting. It makes me feel taken advantage of and it makes me feel angry. I am sure that I am not the first person he's done that to. So for that I am leaving this review. So that other women know, that by coming here, they will not be safe. And they will be taking the chance - that they may also get MOLESTED. I am not sure if they are repercussions of groping. But it's not right. Men doing this to women is NOT RIGHT. I feel sad and angry. Please don't come in here. read more
