To set the scene: imagine an open room with curtains separating the beds. Initially there's chairs for foot massages, then there are tables for the full body massages. There isn't much privacy. Because there aren't any walls, you can hear everything and the massage therapists had a lot to say to each other. The massage was very nice. They are very thorough. Not only did they knead every piece of my body, but they stretched me out as well. They even used the hot stones to work out kinks even further. I will say, the lack of walls did cause me a bit of unease, and 50 min into a 60 min massage my therapist changed from a woman to a man. They then offered 30 additional minutes which we took for the relaxation. I knew right then cost was going to get funky. The extra 30 minutes included a foot massage, which I hadn't experienced one as complex as that. When it was time to check out, 30 minutes for two came up to $80 additional dollars. When I tried to point out the Groupon cost the lady made it out like I was getting a deal. I was not. With tip, I spent double what I expected. Was it worth it, you ask. Meh. And yes, I know I should've gotten the price beforehand or stuck to the original 60 min plan. But it's Father's Day and I wanted to pamper my husband. Massage: 20 stars. Business model 1 star.
