I had the gyro dinner. It was a bit salty for my taste, and the Greek salad had too much dressing. The Greek potatos were alright. I'd probably go here again as their breakfast menu is more forgiving, but as for greek authenticity is concerned, it's average for what's around town. read more

This restaurant was chosen by a friend for a girl's get together breakfast. It has been a very long time since the last time I ate here. The staff were friendly in greeting us and the coffee was served promptly. I ordered the eggs benedict (a favorite while eating out) with eggs done soft to medium. When my breakfast arrived and I cut into the first egg, it was so well done that I was inclined to send it back. I opted not to make a scene. The peameal bacon looked more like a thick ham steak. Not good. The hollandaise sauce was very bland. No taste whatsoever. The best thing I could say about this breakfast was the company I was in. I would never order this again and it wasn't cheap. I will have to think hard about ever going to this restaurant again. read more

This is one of our go-to breakfast spots. Bright, clean, very good service, and good food at reasonable prices. Never see staff just standing around, they're always serving, pouring coffee, cleaning tables and checking with customers. Food is standard breakfast fare, served quickly and hot. We love this place, and usually would give it 5 stars. The last few times that we have gone here, however, the service has been lacking. The atmosphere, as mentioned in previous reviews, is friendly and inviting. The waitresses that we have had the last three times we have visited, have made the experience very rushed. Every request we have had, asking for refills on water or drinks, or asking for a specific dipping sauce for french fries, has seemed like a complete inconvenience to our server. I am a server as well, and I know how it is to get annoyed and busy, but there is absolutely no reason to take that out on your tables. We were completely forgotten about by our server the last time we were here, getting our food took forever, and we had to ask for the bill two times before getting it. read more

If you're looking for a simple bacon and eggs kind of breakfast spot, then this place is for you. The restaurant is very clean, and it's very apparent from the dining area into the washrooms. The breakfasts are filling, good and decently priced. The waitress was very kind and quick, and our food was out within 20 minutes of her taking our order. Only negative I can see was that the coffee was a bit weak, or maybe I just need and crave something a little stronger in the morning. read more

My wife and I went there today for breakfast. My wife ordered the silver breakfast with a English muffin instead of toast and I ordered a western sandwich with fries and asked for tomatoe and lettuce on the sandwich. The food was ok not the best however it was just breakfast. I asked for the bill and to my surprise I was charged $.99 cents extra for the muffin but what was worse is I was charged $2.25 for a slice of tomatoe and as wilted peice of lettuce..... We were regular dinner customers but after today being charged $3.24 extra on my bill without being told ahead of time I will not be returning as they would not reverse the charge. Shame read more

I've only ever been here for breakfast and in varying degrees of alertness, and the staff at Omega give me a little boost on my way to feeling normal again in under an hour. There are various omelettes, pancakes, and melts, but when you need a quick fix and value for your money, the bronze, silver, gold and platinum breakfasts are the way to go. They are iterations of the same theme: two eggs, increasing amounts of breakfast meats, toast and potatoes. Although I would love to go for gold, silver is my go-to. I suggest forgoing the usual breakfast meats and order the polish sausage. The whole table had meal envy when my silver platter came with delicious garlicky slices of polish sausage. That's always a good sign that you picked the perfect dish. The staff is warm and friendly. The service is quick. And the coffee was free flowing. When it's the morning after a super fun night, what more do you need? read more

Been going to this restaurant since opening...it has been a great place all around....but....since under new owners for a little over a year...it has slowly been disappointing...the food quality has definitely gone down hill...only two senior staff with friendly atmosphere...i doubt if I will be returning anymore..disappointed and dissatisfied...:(((( read more

For several years we used to eat at Omega at least 1x per month .In fact my husband proposed to me there 9 years ago in May .It kind of dwindled down as we started trying other restaurants near by and also just dr ided to stay home and bbq. My favorite dish at Omega was always their Baked Lasagna , in fact I told my daughters and son in -law to try it. Tonight is New Year's Eve 2017 and we finished our takeout meals from Omega a little while ago. I'm was so disappointed with my Baked Lasagna !!! It did not taste anything like it had previously .I threw over half out . My hysband's Liver n Onions were overcooked ....... We wont be back to Omega . read more

I had liver and onions. Meat was over done,potatoes were ice cold. Server was apologetic. I've been there many times. This is the second time the food was mediocre. One more time and I won't be back. They need to revisit the chef's work. read more

I have been here a few times, only because it's a convenient location to my home, today was my last visit here..... when I moved my peameal bacon a long dark hair trailed across my eggs.... it was not mine..... to there credit they remove it from the bill, however I had already gone to the bathroom and thrown up..... Had the openface chicken cordon bleu and was very disappointed. Mostly cold noodles topped with obviously microwaved pipping hot dry chicken, slice of what looked and tasted like bologna and there might of been cheese there somewhere, Smothered in luke warm canned beef gravy completed with a splattering of the slimy canned small mushrooms. Waitress was bubbly. However the horrible food (4/5 not eaten and was never even questioned why) and over priced menu makes this a definite MUST MISS. read more

This is one of my favourite restaurants in town. The food is good and a reasonable value, but the best thing is the wonderful service. This is a family business and it is obvious that they care about their business and customers. The turkey dinner is fantastic! read more

We used to go here at least 3 times a month because the food and service was great. HOWEVER, in the last year the service has gone downhill. We gave them three times to change their attitudes toward us as we were regulars but that didn't matter. Our waiter/waitress's were usually in a hurry, didn't really listen to what our needs were and when we asked for something to be left off the plate we were told no they can't do that. Most times we weren't asked if our food was ok until the end of the meal as we never saw our waitress again until then and it wasn't even busy. The food used to be amazing but now its just ok. After the third time with terrible service, we decided we would never return. I won't spend my hard earned money somewhere to get treated like this. read more

The service was excellent, and service was fast, which is great. However 2 dollars for a cup of coffee and 3 dollars for a glass of juice seems a bit ridiculous. I can get Tim Hortons xl for the 2 dollar price. Plus, I had the melt. Tasted okay at first, but almost instantly I started to feel weird. I ate about 2/3 of it and went back to the office. Lets just say I did not stay at the office long. I had to go home because it gave me the worst food poisoning. All afternoon and evening I violently ill, and could not even keep Pepto Bismol down. I know what you are thinking - it probably was not food poisoning. Well, my partner and I had the same dinner the evening before and he was fine - and I felt perfectly fine until after breakfast. At no point did I have a fever, and I woke up the following day (after being ill all night), and 95% of symptoms were gone (except for some pain due to the intense vomiting the evening before). Only been in once all I have to say its ok nothing even remotly worth going again for, over price soda at 2.75 had gyro with french fries(frozen kind). Decor is nice wait staff also friendly ended up costing me 15$ for something that was worth half that. read more

I've been going to this restaurant for about 3 years now. I am there on average of 5 or 6 times a month. The service is amazing, the servers remember you and your preferences for seating as well as foods you normally order. The food is home made from scratch, none of the food is pre-packaged or frozen. The portions are generous and the prices are very comparable to other restaurants, but when you factor in the portions sizes, you get more for your money at Omega. I've only had one meal in all this time that I wasn't happy with. I chalk that up to a different cook on that night. I've never had a bad meal or service at Omega. It's my restaurant of choice in Kitchener for sure! read more
