6. Beef Wrap
Cheri S.

This food car is located on MLK in NE Portland. The customer service was friendly and helpful. There was a nice little covered area to eat your food in, and I noticed there was heating in it too. The beef wrap was really good, but I wish it would've had a little more flavor. I give it a nine out of 10. The beef over fries was pretty good too. The fries were seasoned and there was a cream sauce on it. That was really good. I give it a 9.5 out of 10. I ordered some JoJo's too and they were good but I wish they would've been seasoned a little bit more 8.5 out of 10. Overall, I had a good experience and will go back here again to try the lamb wrap. This is only my opinion. I hope that you try this cart to form your own opinion. Happy eats!

This place has some serious flavor going on! I am in Portland visiting and just so happened to come across this place on yelp. I am so happy I decided to check it out because their food is amazing and their customer service is even better! Definitely recommend this place

Lamb Gyro

Delicious gyros that hit the spot after a morning hike! This food truck pod has so many options but Omar's Gyro was my pick of the day. I ordered the big Lamb Gyro and it was plenty of food. This food cart is located within Park the Carts, which provides shaded seating and a small bathroom. On a sunny Sunday, the park was busy but not overwhelmingly so - people moved in and out. The spot was clean and well maintained. Also, the parking in the small lot is reserved for delivery only (15 min), but fortunately there is plenty of parking around the neighborhood!

Cartilage from the Chicken over salad dish. They don't remove it from the meat.

I ordered #26, the Chicken over salad dish. The chicken meat is full of cartilage. This is the lowest quality chicken I've seen anywhere. I posted a picture of what I could remove before eating that. They were supposed to open at 11:00. They were closed at 11:05, so I decided to drive to the location they have on Alberta St. I double checked online to make sure they were open. When I got there, they were closed due to some construction work on the property. I went back to the MLK location hoping they'd be open by now. They were not. They opened at 11:18 while I was driving away. I parked again, I ordered the first order of the day. It took 16 minutes to get two orders of chicken over salad with fries. I gave them two stars because the fries were good.

Beef Gyro

Never fails to make THE BEST EVER beef Gyro! When you order it, make sure to get EVERYTHING on it! It is good fresh, hours later, cold, reheated. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I crave it EVERY day!!!

Second time here. First time I had just the lamb gyro. It was super good and I knew I wanted to try other items. This time around, i also got the lamb arabi.... Life changing good! Wife had some of mine and we ended up splitting the plate while her food from another cart went untouched. The thing that really caught me off guard were the fries. At first, I thought it was just a filler. Turns out they were super crispy and very well seasoned. Actually tied in very nicely with the rest of the plate. The only very small gripe I have is that it is on the pricey side. But the amount of food and quality of the ingredients totally makes it worth it! 10/10 Will come back for more lamb arabi.

We love falafel and well, it's actually been hard to find. We found the Park the Carts food pod and stuck hold. Falafel was crispy, the pita was perfect. I'm drooling thinking about it. Awesome service too!! I recommend!!

I came after a review I read on Eater for FoPo area eats. I'm not a huge fried food fan but this place was good. I got the Steelhead trout fish and chips. Wait was ok they give you a buzzer so you can stroll around the food court. Took about 10 mins not bad. The locally sourced steelhead was a delicious surprise. Tender, juicy fish with crispy breading. Good seasoning. Fries were thicker so not as crispy but still hearty. 3 medium sized pieces of fish. They included ketchup for the fries as well as malt vinegar and tartar sauce for authentic fish dip. Wedge of lemon, too! All in a earth-friendly cardboard box. They take credit just fine. Very convenient location at Carts on Foster just down the street from where I was staying. So I walked back and enjoyed there. If you're staying you could probably cruise over to any local breweries or the bar cart for a beer to complement the fried food. Good time!!!

The staff is always friendly, the service is prompt, and orders come out quickly and are plated so beautifully they *must* be photographed every time. I'm a creature of habit so I could order flautas here forever, but I promised myself I would try the chile relleno next time we go. Wish me luck! We love the casual vibe. It's comfy, there's usually a place to sit, but it can get packed when the weather is good. The space is welcoming and offers opportunities to chat with others if you want. It's a great space that fosters community.

Teen wanted boba, and we decided to order Mediterranean from this place which also strangely sells boba. Yes, I rewarded the chore avoidance. Sue me. I worked four tens, all week my mental health clients were stressed and distressed, and I was honestly a lump. We both ordered a Moroccan stewed chicken that comes with saffron rice, salad, and three spicy sauces - one yogurt and maybe sumac? , one sriracha, and one yogurt mixed with sriracha maybe? We liked the rice, chicken, salad, and the yogurt sauce. Just ok though. Not omg good. I wish the two other sauces had been in separate containers and not on the rice. My mint and honey tea was fine. Kid's boba was not full. Not because it spilled either, because it was sealed with the boba seal lid thingy. For $6 that was disappointing. The hummus and dolmades plate came with one sad not good pita, ONE, and I think our Uber eats driver flung it out the window like kids used to deliver newspapers from their bikes because yogurt sauce was freaking everywhere. The hummus was not great. Teen ( the dolmades fan) said the grape leaves were good. Probably not a repeat in store. One and done.
