I appreciate the time he takes to make sure my son likes the way he looks and feels good and the price is reasonable and affordable. The last couple of times we went for service, I noticed another autistic client and I recommended this barber studio for families with special needs as they have an inviting and supportive environment along with plenty of entertainment, from video games, TVs and the COMEDY of the barbers interactions. I personally appreciate this studio for also having a braided available as I was able to also get my hair done by Nique, who did an EXCELLENT job on my stitch braids; her work was friendly and fast and the quality is perfect 10. I did not feel any pain while she worked or the day after yet again the quality is perfect! If you're in Katy, this is the spot for braids and barber. They even cut women's hair too! I schedule appointments via Booksy- Houston 55, Chris for haircuts and Younique styles for braids

Today, Rebecca, one of the newer barbers at V's, was the lucky one tasked with transforming me from looking homeless to handsome--and she nailed it. Rebecca was not only professional but also warm, personable, and genuinely funny. We chatted comfortably about life, parenthood, and even our shared penchant for risk-taking adventures. She shaped my beard expertly and made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. It's refreshing to have a barbershop where the conversation is just as good as the cut--Rebecca definitely raised the bar today. He is at an age where he wants as much hair piled on top of his head as possible. The problem is that the shape was out of control, so his hair never looked "done." It was a wild, curly, bushy mushroom, and I couldn't take it any longer. Jo assured my son that he'd still have ALL the hair, but the shape would frame his face better AND not look like a fungus growing on top of his head! He got the full service treatment with his cut, so he was in heaven and feeling like a grown up. The haircut was exactly what I'd envisioned. Clean, fresh and totally still "big" like his heart desired. We were both happy when Jo finished working her magic. So, yes...he still goes to his regular barber every month, but the cut he got at Jo's shop was by far my favorite and the experience made it more than just a bi-weekly haircut. The shop itself is modern, stylish and clean. There are personal touches around the shop that tell Jo's story and where her passion comes from. Oh, and there are cold drinks, beer, and spirits, if you're so inclined. It's a whole vibe. If we lived in Houston, we'd be here every two weeks for all three of our boys!
