My wife and I adore the veggie rolls and get them all the time. Sweetened tofu, avocado, cucumber... Simple and delicious!

I have NEVER been so excited to write a review in my entire life!…read more OK so it was like 8:15 pm and I decided I had to have this sushi burrito thing that I saw on the TikTok. That's right the TikTok... I'm not embarrassed to say it. Order it through GrubHub and I had like 10 minutes left to get my order in. I'm not really wanting to order things online because it's just expensive. Sorry GrubHub. Anyways... My food arrived by the door. Picture... Me running to my bedroom with my bag of goodies. I was skeptical, of course. Who's ever had sushi burrito before in Idaho?! I took one bite...ONE BITE...I instantly fell in love with whomever made it. It's the California roll and I asked for extra cream cheese, daikon and lemon. My taste buds are still dancing and won't shut up about it! ! An explosion of flavors that I haven't had in any sushi place here in Boise! I'm not kidding not one bit. I also ordered the edamame and wontons which were both good...I think...ummmm my brain keeps going back to that burrito. So it's a gigantic sushi adventure filled to the rim with what you ordered, unlike a regular normal tiny itsy bitsy roll. Are you picturing this?? Can you feel and taste the happiness? No? You better hurry up and go there. I mean...HURRY UP LIKE NOW! You don't want to take the risk that I ordered a few more from them and they ran out! THANKS GUYS! Can't wait to come in to visit you and order in person! Absolutely fantastic. Order how I ordered it....SOOOOOOO GOOOOOD! Ok bye.

Service was good. The poke' appeared fresh but was not necessarily as fresh tasting and the veggie…read moreselection was really good. The sauce was a little strange and it seemed like a hodgepodge of various cultural sauces. The noodles were the best dish I tried and it was stir fried well with lots of veggies. Huge portion and it can feed 2 or more. The veggie ramen was ok and it tasted out of a box. I think someone wrote the food tasted like it was out of a mall. I would agree. Quality was pretty sub par, and presentation was really nice and the ambiance cozy. I think that this restaurant has potential. If some of the ingredients were upgraded it would easily make a difference. I live in Seattle and there is lots of poke' and chains like Sam Choy. I would suggest marinating the poke first to give it a nice flavor profile. Just some thoughts. Thank you!

We came here tonight, a Wednesday, for a belated Mother's Day. First visit for us, though our…read moredaughter has been here several times before. We were sat at a nice booth right away. Our server, MJ, did a really great job taking care of us. She was nice, friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our daughter had the Unicorn sushi roll with a side of edamame, my wife had a bowl of clam chowder and the shrimp scampi, and I had the fish and chips (cod; they also offer salmon and halibut, but the halibut, which I would have liked, was double the price at $38). For dessert, we shared the key lime pie. My wife said the clam chowder was OK, but more potatoes than clams. She did like her scampi. Our daughter liked the sushi roll. And, I liked the beer battered cod with the tartar sauce, and their fries were nicely seasoned and fairly crispy ( a little crispier would have been nice). The key lime pie had a rougher texture; I like it more creamy. Still good, though. I liked the exterior of the building. Red brick, arched windows that have a Mediterranean feel, and an exterior staircase that gives a bit of an industrial vibe. I thought it would be a little more upscale inside, but it is more basic wood tables and booths. There is a patio area, and it looks like there is an upstairs patio or dining area as well. All in all, a good first experience. We will definitely return.

This was our second visit and it didn't quite live up to the legendary status of the first visit…read more Not sure if it the table, time, service, or portions, but it lacked that specialness that existed on our first WoW visit. We'll give it Lucky Fins another chance and hopefully we won't be unlucky.
