Now the shelves are mostly empty except for chips soda and milk, and the butcher case mostly has coleslaw and deli meats. It's actually kind of depressing if you walk to the back. I think its a husband and wife that run this place but I wasn't 100% sure. I ordered a large Italian hoagie and woman behind the counter grabbed the roll from the clear bin in front of the counter and the gentlemen sliced the meat fresh for my Italian and added peppers, oil & vinegar and SPO. There are not many places that still operate like a true old school deli and I really enjoyed it. As she handed me the hoagie she asked if I had ever been there before to which I answered "no." She said well you'll be back. I loved the confidence and she was 100% right! If you are in the area and love a good Italian hoagie Dan's is a must try.
