I Just used their website to order ammo. It was easy to use, great prices. They have lot of inventory and a great selection.

I ordered a gun on Friday morning, the FFL I was using was not on their list. So 9:15 that same day my FFL sent them all of the requested information. I sent an email right after to verify that they had received it. Let me also mention that when I ordered it it was only a 3-4 day lead time. I used their contact page to inquire over the weekend, thinking I would get a response today. I called several times today, left a voicemail. Finally went on FB and used messenger and was upset by the lack of communication resulting in the poor customer service here is how they treated me. Don't order from them Let me provide you with the email regarding the FFL and the original ticket I put in with not response. Yes when I ordered the gun it said 3-4 business days on your website. At no point did I DEMAND one day shipping. I did however expect you to follow through with the 3-4 day since that is what it stated when I ordered. Or at least communicate otherwise. I just placed an order for an HK SP5K (order #104960) that I saw available from Omaha Outdoors for over the MSRP price but a price that seems reasonable given current conditions in the marketplace. I even requested my local FFL to send his FFL to Omaha Outdoors for the transfer process. 20 mins after I placed my confirmed and paid for order, I receive an cancellation and refund email immediately from them without any legitimate explanation. The usual explanation is that the item is not in stock, which is the usual with this specific HK SP5K due to its high demand and outrageous going price. My only guess is that they sold it someone at the store and won't honor my online purchase or they plan on sending this to GunBroker for more money. Stay far away from businesses like these. This kind of practice does not warrant any consumer support whatsoever. read more

I ordered a PWS Upper Receiver from Omaha Outdoors. There was a clear defect in the upper. The bolt carrier would get stuck when it was attached to any lower receiver. I contacted them and they agreed on an exchange. Then they got it back and said their gun smiths said there was nothing wrong with it so they would have to charge me a ten percent restocking fee. This was not the agreement we had made and there was clearly something wrong here. I will never do business with this company again and I suggest you do the same. read more

The customer service here is awful!!!! I had an item on layaway since end of December. I made 2 payments on it and had two left. March 1st i went to make my third payment and the website said there was an error with my card...then it said payment failed and the button to "pay now" was gone so i called customer service and they said to wait a few hours for the button to be available again. This happened about 5 times until they said i was locked out and would have to try again in 24 hours. This happened for the next 4 or 5 days and finally i had enough. So i asked them what card iade the payments on because i want to cancel the order ...and one payment they said "we can't see that information" and another payment they were able to see!? Well the payments were made on a card i don't have anymore because k closed rhat bank account to switch to a new bank....so i asked them if they could refund.me ont new card they said "no sorry you have to pay for the item or lose your money" even though their website won't lete make the other payments. So i asked for the manager number they said.we can only give you his email.but he's out of office for the week we don't know what say he is back. So I emailed Fernando the manager begging for his help to find some options or solutions for and he said i have to buy the product or lose the money. This is the worst customer service and terrible business. They don't understand things happen ? They can't be flexible at all? They force u to buy their product or lose $1000???????? I put a ceracoated glock 19x 0n a 4 month layaway plan with these turds​, as well as a laser sight Dec. 5th 2023. My intentions were to make small payments for about two months, then pay the rest off and get my items early. I was initially annoyed that although I entered my card information and set up a 4 month payment plan, it did NOT automatically deduct on the 5th of each month or at all and by the time I checked on the status of it and will now have to fork over a larger lump sum of cash.... and its Cash that I though I already payed! So I then look online under my account while attempting to make a payment and go ahead and ​ just pay both items off so I could finally get them. I see a notification that days "backorder okay" "will ship by Feb. 22nd".... now i remember seeing this exact type of notification when I initially set up the layaway items on Dec. 5th, 2023 and it said, "backorder okay" will ship by Dec. 22nd or 23rd of 2023. So in my head im registering that although I have paid money toward a product and I may potentially pay it in full, that I would still have to wait an entire month to get something that I am paying for and technically have reserved at the store?? Like just in case a customer does want to pay early?! They also dont open until noon on monday so I had to wait for what felt like forever after already waiting all weekend just for the icing on The cake which was dealing with whatever sassy boy employee they had on the phone with me that day who, was either completely misunderstanding my issue and repeating the same wrong Mis​information over and over. I noticed it said layaway fee later which I didn't think anything of even know I've never seen one I paid the item off 18 days later and noticed a fee of $129 for a $648. Bought a gun online that specifically stated it was California compliant, completed the transaction and was notified a few days later that it could not ship to me (in California) because it was not CA Compliant. My order was cancelled and I got charged a $60 cancellation fee. So I'm out $60 with no gun. Please take your business elsewhere when purchasing a firearm. This company offered zero solutions to THEIR mistake. Horrible company and even worse customer service. In the middle of the second week of December, 2020, I placed an on-line order for 3 items that were shown on their web site to be "in stock". The flag at the top of the web site stated that processing times were currently 7-14 days. Regardless of their "processing time", their time to charge my credit card was not 7-14 days; more like 7-14 minutes. After a week, my order was still showing as "pending", while the flag at the top of the web site now stated that processing time was 2-4 days. Hmmm... After another week, with my order still showing "pending" (and the flag still showing 2-4 days), I used their online "contact us" form to ask for an update on the status of my order. Crickets. 4 days later, with the order still showing "pending", I again used the online "contact us" form to ask for an update. Crickets. It was now well into the 4th week since my order was placed, so I again tried contacting them, only this time I gave them a deadline by which I expected my order to ship, or I would be contacting the credit card company to dispute the charge. Magically, I got a response this time, including a phone number to call them back. They gave me some song and dance about a software problem that prevented the order from begin sent to their distributor. WHAT??? The web site stated the items were in stock! What does a distributor have to do with this? They offered to cancel the order, but I would pay a cancellation fee. No way. I told them this was THEIR problem, not mine, that I don't want to cancel the order; I want the order shipped; I told them (again) that if the order was not shipped with days, I would be disputing the charge. The order finally arrived, more than a month late. I will never do business with these people again. 1. Listing items as in stock when they were not. 2. Charging my credit card for items they do not have, and have no near-term way of delivering. 3. Ignoring repeated contact from the customer. 4. Only responding after a promise to hit their bottom line by disputing the charge. I really have no idea if they did have a software problem, and in the end, that does not matter. This company is either incapable of handling an online business or are fraudulently taking orders and charging the card for items listed in stock which are not in stock (or both).
