Great chill brewery 20 minutes from Providence Canyon Park. Four of us showed up on a Sunday afternoon and got to taste a few beers before committing to a full pint. Me and my friend had the huckleberry sour beer that was delicious! 5 Piggiez Foodtruck was outside and provided delicious BBQ food with quick service. First time at OBC while visiting some family and I cannot wait to go back! They had a variety of craft beer, wine and seltzers. There was a game room for 21 and up which had pool, foosball, Jenga, and card/board games. Outside they had corn hole and a food truck. The bar tenders were friendly and honest with their opinions on the beverages which was much appreciated! They also have live music most nights which is a win in my book! read more

Stopped by for a refresh after hiking Providence Canyon.. They have good beers.. They give you the samplers in a nice cardboard box with their inscription on it and notes on the beer.. Lot of space, kid friendly, lot of games etc..... They also have a winery attached to it and grapes growing outdoors.. It was great to have a nice place like this off the beaten path.. read more

Saw the ample signs all over the area by providence canyon and Florence Marina so on a rainy day we decided to venture over for some brews. Great idea. Ample, gravel parking. Easy to find. Enter via the tasting room door on the right when you pull up. We were greeted very friendly upon entry. We headed to the game room area so one of us could order while the other watched our 3 kids. We ordered two flights with varying beer flavors from Nada Banana and yippie ki yay. Highly recommend all. We also tried the CBD water and bought some to take home. We bought several 6 packs and a few growlers. All were ready for us to take home quickly. The whole place is very neat, clean and customer service is great. They offer a military discount so please ask. They are very military friendly. We will be back! read more

This is a great brewery I found on Yelp while in the area for work training. I rode my motorcycle here on the weekend for some much needed relaxation time. The drive to the brewery was beautiful without congestion and there was plenty of parking. Most of the lot is gravel but there is some paved concrete where I parked my bike. The gravel is compact so it wasn't an issue navigating it. I did two beer flights, which were well priced, and they allowed me to pick out two beers I took to go. They fill can growlers on site and they are well priced as well. There is plenty of seating for groups and would make for a great destination ride or gathering. They have corn hole outside, as well as food trucks. If you're in the area and you enjoy beer, this is a must try. read more

We were in the area to go to Providence Canyon and saw the sign for this brewery. It was easy to get to and we were so happy we came! We had two dogs with us.. and that was totally okay! Dogs everywhere! There was live music and a food truck as well. Everyone was so nice and it was just a great atmosphere. The beer was good! And appropriately priced. $5 a beer. You can also get flights and beer to go. We live in Atlanta and I would take friends back down here for the canyon and beer! read more

Perfect spot for drinks after hiking Providence Canyon!! The beer is really good and the people are friendly and welcoming to everyone. All ages were there the afternoon we went. They had live music, (great guy with acoustic guitar) and a food truck. Great little picnic area in back, but plenty of seating inside, too. Tons of board games and pool if you're looking to play. We camped at Florence Marina State Park last Sunday - Tuesday. The draw for us was Providence Canyon State Park. While checking in, the young lad at the desk asked if we knew about Omaha Brewing Company five miles up the road. Decided to give it a try, got there at 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon not knowing what to expect, and had a blast! Tried the Nada Banana hefeweizen, the Hannahatchee Creek IPA, and the 5.56 dry hopped lager. All delicious! Played pool with the young brewmaster and had a splendid chat with the owner. And petted many a friendly puppy! Took home a 6-pack of the IPA. We'll definitely stop back in on our next trip through... read more

We were so excited to see this location out here in the middle of Nowhere, Georgia. We came to this area for camping in the area and happening to see the sign about this brewery. We just loved it here. Huge Plus as Dogs (well-behaved) are welcomed here. The establishment is extremely cleaned and has a huge bar with a variety of seating areas with televisions with all the good games on. The bar area of the brewery has an enormous area number of beers on tap. They also will fill your growler if you happen to have one. They also have growlers available for purchase if you want to take some delicious back home with you. The staff is crazy friendly and knowledgeable about their product. Hubby and I took back two growlers. We really enjoyed our beer choices. We recommend if you are in the area to venture in and enjoy what they are making. read more

After hiking and camping in nearby Providence Canyon and Florence Marina parks, we were excited to see so many signs pointing to Omaha Brewing Company seemingly out in the middle of nowhere. This brewery is HUGE, probably the biggest I've ever been it, with plenty of space for lots of people and dogs (which are allowed inside). We ended up there at around 7 p.m. on a Friday and the place was already hopping with live music, games and food trucks outside. There is a large variety of beers on tap and we tasted about 10 different beers. The taste of the beers were pretty hit or miss...the IPAs were all a let down and just bad while the darker beers and barrel-aged selections were surprisingly good. It's totally worth it to check out Omaha Brewing Company if you find yourself close to Omaha, Georgia! read more

We came by today from Pensacola. We were just looking for a brewery that was open and they were the only ones open. So we took a thirty minute detour from our route and it was a blast! Great beer, friendly staff and owners, great atmosphere. This is what you look for in a craft beer joint. The 1st time I went they were very attentive and welcoming. The beer was great also. The second time I went, I called first to ask how long the food trucks would be there and they said through 8:30/9. We got there at 8 and the food truck was packing everything up. Drove 45 minutes with 6 kids and 4 adults expecting to ha e food available. Not cool. The bartender also never came back to get my order. Apparently he needed to talk with some people. The first experience was a 5 star experience but the second deserved 1. Huge fan of their beer but, I would not make that drive again to have such a crappy experience. read more

So tonight was the first night that the tasting room was open. It was awesome. The staff was very friendly and took the time to explain the different types of beer. And they have great beer. They have beer in the tasting room that they haven't released for sale outside of the taste room. And it's amazing. I really hope they start to sell some of the beer outside of their taste room. My friend I visited this brewing company after having hiked at Providence State Park. They offer military discounts, and we each had a pint of beer. We were going to try a flight, but the cost didn't seem to match the amount of beer given in a fight. I had a Hefeweizen and he had the sour, and we were both pleasantly surprised by the quality of taste. We played boardgames, and listened to live music, which was pretty cool. The tour is alright, they just show you around the small brewhouse - nothing special. read more

OBC is one of the best breweries we've been to. It sure is out in the middle of nowhere, but that didn't stop us from making the long trip back once the Georgia liquor laws finally changed. The beer is incredible and atmosphere really makes it super homey; they're dog and family-friendly too! John is by far the most personable and knowledgeable staff member; his tours are incredibly informative and fun, he will recommend the right beers for your taste and is always positive! The owner, Dr. Lee, pulled up as we were leaving (we recently started off on a trip through the US in an old camper van) and offered us to stay with them during Hurricane Irma, which hot on our heels. Incredible hospitality and overall such an incredible team and establishment!!! read more
