Stopped by for a refresh after hiking Providence Canyon.. They have good beers.. They give you the samplers in a nice cardboard box with their inscription on it and notes on the beer.. Lot of space, kid friendly, lot of games etc..... They also have a winery attached to it and grapes growing outdoors.. It was great to have a nice place like this off the beaten path..

#2 Lager and a happy pom pom who would probably down that beer of we turned away.

We were in the area to go to Providence Canyon and saw the sign for this brewery. It was easy to get to and we were so happy we came! We had two dogs with us.. and that was totally okay! Dogs everywhere! There was live music and a food truck as well. Everyone was so nice and it was just a great atmosphere. The beer was good! And appropriately priced. $5 a beer. You can also get flights and beer to go. We live in Atlanta and I would take friends back down here for the canyon and beer!

Nice little place for a nifty afternoon or evening toast to life and peace. Dogs welcome - which right there - says a lot about how good a business is :) They have a children's area - so the younger kiddos don't have to be in the bar and music area, and the older kiddos can enjoy a toast without biting the tykes. Lots of nifty ambience and signs and things to see. In addition to the bar, there is a little store, and live music area and tvs with sports tuned in. Buy tokens for the beer and ale... $5 for a token... 1 token for a 16 oz beer and 2 tokens for a flight of 4 5 oz options. Today - 19 drafts to choose from. Small but adequate food options on Saturday -- burgers, fries, nachos...

We camped at Florence Marina State Park last Sunday - Tuesday. The draw for us was Providence Canyon State Park. While checking in, the young lad at the desk asked if we knew about Omaha Brewing Company five miles up the road. Decided to give it a try, got there at 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon not knowing what to expect, and had a blast! Tried the Nada Banana hefeweizen, the Hannahatchee Creek IPA, and the 5.56 dry hopped lager. All delicious! Played pool with the young brewmaster and had a splendid chat with the owner. And petted many a friendly puppy! Took home a 6-pack of the IPA. We'll definitely stop back in on our next trip through...

    The rain sampler.

I like how everyone seems to now each other here. The owners were very nice and were sure to introduce themselves. I had the rain samples Bde as not disappointed.

Alright, story time…read more My husband has been craving a burger, and he wanted something a little more authentic than something you could buy at McDonald's. So we took the opportunity to go on a motorcycle ride and made our way to Cusseta from Columbus. We hadn't been to this restaurant since we had first started dating many moons ago. The business had actually closed and reopened at least once since then. Walking into the restaurant is like stepping back 25 years or more. It's very quaint. Not busy whatsoever, however it was just after lunch on a Monday. There was some soft country music playing on a tv from the back wall. The two young ladies at the front register were kind and patient. We both ordered the traditional Ranger Burger with fries. He got a cola and I ordered the sweet tea. Whew! Hunny. I didn't know I ordered dessert. That tea had so much sugar it'll make you want to go brush your teeth immediately afterwards. Aside from that, that burger was smakin'! It'll be hard to find a better burger in the vicinity. Simple and delicious. Not greasy. And yes, it comes with two patties as pictured. So be sure to arrive with an appetite. Might want to skip a meal to have room for this one. It was a pleasant restaurant in a good ol' small town. We'll definitely be back for the burger.

I stopped by on a Friday afternoon and there weren't too many people there yet. I could tell immediately, the ambiance was one I would appreciate. I did a flight consisting of several lighter samplers. They were all awesome. The Hefeweizen was my favorite. I spoke with the bartender for quite some time about the brewery and how he got started there, I really appreciated the attention and the service. Everything was on point. If you're in this part of Alabama and have some time, stop in. You'll love it!!

We ate here at noon on a Saturday after they recently added their smokehouse menu. I had the pulled…read morepork dinner, my wife had the smoked turkey. (See photos.) Both were very good, rating a 4 out of 5 stars. The size portion of the turkey was generous, the pulled pork a bit conservative. The smoked elote corn was served cold, which does not help the taste; perhaps a squeeze of lime juice would help bring out the chilled taste. The white cheddar mac was lacking. Their sweet BBQ sauce is amazing, much better than their bourbon BBQ sauce which lacked flavor. Most of our complaints had to do with the ambiance and service. Even though the owners were present, the cook brought out our meals without napkins or silverware, which happened to the next two customers as well---and nothing was done to correct the problem. The tables and chairs were mostly like what one would get second hand at a flea market and a large floor fan blew voluminous amounts of air down through the middle of the seating area, blowing away our napkins, silverware and other items. This did not make for a very pleasant meal! Southern Fields brews their own beer, which we would rate as average. We did not try their distilled rum or vodka, since they are not our liquors of choice. We are from Jackson County and want to see this business succeed. Since there are not many local residents in Campbellton, I would highly recommend giving a generous discount to Jackson County resident to get them to make the drive to Campbellton and brave the tourist traffic to get a good base of return customers. (A Panama City Beach business trick that works well.) I also highly recommend a few well-placed road signs on Route 231 and Route 273 northbound to entice tourists to stop; who are either in a hurry to get to the beach--or to get home after being at the beach. Whenever we go to Dothan, we never see the Southern Fields building until it is way too late to slow down and make the turn to stop. (We will try to come back in a few weeks to update this review since the menu is new.)

Super friendly as is the entire family and we loved hearing what new ideas were on the horizon. Not only that we had shared an experience we had with taking a growler home years ago, and he immediately took action to try to recover the situation, even though it happened years ago! True customer service and hospitality. We enjoyed bourbon aged stout and the millie Kalikimaka. Both darker beers with good flavor. My husband ended up switching to the copper tail, which was their German alt bier. He really enjoyed that and had several glasses of it. I switched over to a delicious hard seltzer, the Midori sour and it was divine. I'm still kicking myself that I didn't grab some to bring home. If you love honeydew melon this is the perfect beverage for you! We also finally tried their in-house distilled bourbon whiskey. We really enjoyed it. It definitely does not give you that Kentucky hug you normally feel when you drink bourbon.
