So impressed with the service I received from Abdullah! I have an older iPad Pro 12.9" that was…read morehaving difficulty charging. Searching around online, it seemed like it could have been the charging port. I called around to some places, and searched online, and the prices I was quoted at other places were significantly higher. I thought about scrapping my iPad, but it does have some sentimental value since it was bought for me by my husband after I passed my CA real estate license exam. After searching some more, I stumbled upon RXTech Repair in Mission Viejo. I sent a request via their online form, asking if they also service my older model iPad. I received a quick email reply, stating the price for replacing the charging port. I had to make sure it was including both labor and the part, as his price was so much more reasonable than other places! When I told Abdullah I would bring my iPad in, he gave me very detailed directions as to where to find the shop. I'm so glad he did, because it's in a shopping center at the corner of La Paz and Marguerite, and there are several shopping centers around there. Even told me where to park! He told me he would try to look at it later on that day (Friday) since he has shorter hours on Saturday and he's closed on Sunday. Sure enough, it was the charging port. He contacted me later that day, telling me when the iPad would be ready for pickup. I went on Saturday before my open house. Paid cash since I didn't want him to have to pay for credit card fees (even though he doesn't charge extra), and I refused to take the $1 change from the cash I gave him. My iPad now works great! Abdullah was so pleasant to work with, took care of my issue quicker than I expected, and I have been telling anyone who will listen to me that it is worth the extra drive from the RSM area to MV for tech repair, as he gives spectacular service at stellar prices! Thank you so much!

What really sets Tech Vet apart:…read more Great attitude and willingness to go the extra mile Reasonable prices Flexible with the ongoing (and ever-changing) needs of a growing business Makes sure you're fully satisfied with the results Will make tweaks without nickel-and-diming you I had reached out to 7 different companies on Yelp to help with cable management for our growing start-up company. Out of those: - Five said the job was beneath them and refused to even give a bid. - One showed up with a bad attitude and never followed up. And then, Rodrigo from Tech Vet showed up. What a breath of fresh air! He took the time to really survey the project, asked thoughtful questions, and approached everything with a great sense of humor. He clearly knows his stuff and has the kind of work ethic you don't see often. Honestly, I hesitate to write this review because I don't want him to get too busy for us! Rodrigo figured out a clean and clever cable management system for our sit/stand desk columns--no small task considering the cables shift as desks move. Plus he tidied up the messy cable situation around our video wall, which had been bothering us for months. If you're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and treats your business like their own--Tech Vet is it!

I usually only use Yelp to read reviews for places like restaurants and whatnot, so this is…read moreactually my first review I think ever but honestly I'm surprised this guy doesn't have more reviews! My laptop fans were completely f-ed up with dust and stuff so I was trying to request a quote from all the local places, Rodrigo quoted me for less than 100$ unlike more than half of the other places in the area trying to ask for like 200-250$ base price for only a CLEANING by the way (legit had me actually considering if I had to do it myself at the risk of causing damage to my expensive components). Not only that, but I could immediately tell that Rodrigo is super passionate about this work as well. He answered all of my questions + even gave suggestions and recommendations for computer related stuff when requested. While my laptop was getting cleaned, he let me know about all the good food places within walking distance, so I didn't have to drive away or awkwardly sit around. Rodrigo also helped to take before and after pictures, since my friends were all curious to see the difference since my fans were really just that messed up at the time. By the time it was ready to be picked up, he had given my old keyboard and screen a very nice courtesy wipe-down and also helped to make sure everything was working well. My cat gave my laptop a long sniff-test after I got back home without making a disgusted face or running away, so I guess I can say this place is even cat-approved. This also might seem like a bare minimum thing but I never once felt patronized at all while talking to Rodrigo, which has happened when I was looking for help at even big-chain places like Best Buy in the past. Overall, 10/10 experience, enough to make me finally write a review on this platform after like 9 years of using it and moving around multiple cities. If I'm ever going to try and update my laptop or finally get a custom PC built, I know that I'm going to coming right back to Tech Vet for things.
