The front desk would lock the lobby late at night and if they were concerned about safety, but they were always there at the desk available to let me in when I needed. The staff was outstanding, 6 out of 5 stars! Jersey was wonderful and so patient when setting up mine and my co-workers reservation (that was a bit complicated). Trinh was the staff that was often there during our stay in the mornings and she was so helpful in processing important paperwork for our business trip to ensuring our housekeeping needs were met daily. Finally, the location was perfect since our work was based near the SEATAC airport, but also only a short drive to Downtown Seattle. We were a quick 15 minute drive to the SEATAC airport or Downtown Seattle in this location (dependent on traffic, going to the airport we were often traveling in the opposite direction of traffic for our work schedule). Some great options for food just a short walk away from the Georgetown Inn, and also the Georgetown Brewery was only a short 10 minute walk away as well! Highly recommend staying here!

Located on a bluff above Eagle Harbor, there is ample outdoor seating to enjoy the massive expanse of water and sky. A curving set of wood and stone steps lead down to the water where one can barbeque, go kayaking, sit and relax, or walk on the beach. I saw an eagle swoop on some cormorants that were sitting out on a floating dais (they dove and easily escaped him). The view of Mt. Rainier from the beach is unique and if one walks down a ways one can see the Seattle skyline. The place is everything it is advertised to be: the windows overlook Eagle Harbor with the ferries coming and going, the kitchen is well equipped and the stove has gas burners, the bed is very comfortable, the television has more channels than I would ever watch, Wi Fi is free, the bathroom is clean and the showerhead is powerful. The owners were friendly and honored my privacy. Photographers, artists, birdwatchers, couples, small families, kayakers, an individual looking to relax - I could go on - will all find something here. I found true peace and quiet.

The weather was beautiful and I was able to sit outside at the cute table and chairs Claes and Jenny have out on the patio. The inside was very clean and cozy and the wood burning stove was awesome! The owners live upstairs but I never heard/saw them, however, they make it very clear in the information they email you that should you need ANYTHING during your stay don't hesitate to just let them know. It was private, quiet and beautiful. For someone who only gets one vacation a year, it was exactly what I needed and as mentioned, I will definitely be back next year!

I would like to file a complaint about one of your breakfast attendants in the Orchard Room on July 3 at approximately 8:45 a.m. My experience was extremely uncomfortable and unlike anything I have ever experienced at a hotel. In fact I don't think I ever experienced in my life and I been to many hotels! I arrived about 10 minutes before breakfast ended because I wanted to grab a croissant and a coffee to go. I was the only guest in the breakfast area at the time. From the second I walked in, the breakfast attendant was staring directly at me. Then she literally started FOLLOWING ME around and COMPLAINING on everything I was doing. Like she was coming up to me and literally RIGHT NEXT TO ME and staring at what I was getting and then glaring at my face. WTF. Like for example, when i was getting the croissant, she was angry I was using a napkin to carry the croissant instead of my hand...I literally paid $170 for the night and I can't use a napkin to carry my croissant?? I never had someone do that at a hotel before, it was inappropriate and super unprofessional. She had an angry and crazed bizarre look on her face, just angrily glaring at me and literally following me around the small room. It was SUPER unsettling and unhinged behavior, I was the only one in the room and that made it more uncomfortable. None of the other staff members I interacted with during my stay behaved this way. Every other employee was friendly, welcoming, and professional. While I was getting coffee, she came up to me and asked why I was using two coffee cups. I had simply placed one cup over the other because the coffee was very hot and I wanted to make it easier to carry. Being questioned over something so minor, especially after being stared at and followed around the room, felt completely unnecessary and inappropriate. At that point, I decided to leave the breakfast area because I no longer felt comfortable staying there. As I was walking out, she sarcastically called out, "Thank you for coming," which felt mocking given how she had treated me. Then she started following me around again after I didn't want to talk to her because I was so creeped out!!! For identification purposes, she appeared to be an older thin woman with pale skin, glasses, and faint reddish eyebrows. I have never had a hotel employee stare at me, follow me around a breakfast area, and then question me over using two coffee cups. It made me feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, and singled out. I hope management reviews this incident and reminds staff that guests should be able to enjoy breakfast without feeling like they are being monitored or intimidated. Also since she was literally following me and harassing me, I asked her for her name and she refused to tell me which implies she probably knew what she was doing was inappropriate and didn't want to get found out

Very clean and comfortable, I didn't get to use all the facilities as this was just an overnight stay. My room had 2 double beds, mini fridge, large TV, black out curtains, medium size bathroom with plenty of extra towels, coffee maker, iron & ironing board, equipped with central air con and an in-room safe for securing your belongings. Front desk was extremely warm and welcoming. Nearby eateries such as Westfield SouthCenter Mall, Cheesecake Factory, Olive Garden, Nordstrom, AMC Theaters, and many other restaurants and businesses. At the time of check-out mid-afternoon, the surrounding area seemed very suburban and many business establishments all around. I wasn't awake in time for complimentary breakfast as I had come in from a very long and tiring flight the day before. But should have woke up at least an hour before it stopped serving breakfast at 10am.

Maybe what, a dozen rooms total? Check in was a breeze. As we walked up to the office a friendly gentleman popped out of the room next door, went into the office and put on his manager's hat. He was very good natured and amiable. The view of Mt Rainier from the parking lot was pretty neat. Our room also has a good view of Rainier. Speaking of which, this room is a nice surprise. It is very retro with a microwave, a Keurig coffeemaker and a mini fridge that are styled after the 1950's in a baby blue. This room is immaculately clean! The Mrs wanted me to make sure that I point out the cleanliness of the bathroom and counter / sink area. The room is a bit smallish but is very well appointed. Lights and outlets aplenty. Freshly painted and remodeled comes to mind. The beds have that perfect firm softness that gives you comfort without trapping you in a marshmallow. There is also an ironing board with iron for that clothing touch up along with a dresser for unpacking. There is also a prominent coffee kiosk within a few steps of the motel. From a maintenance and construction aspect, this room is well taken care of, everything works.

Wonderful Christmas lights to see as you walk. Buckley is uber safe. I applaud the owners for digging in and doing a solid update on this place. It's neat and tidy. With a tip of the hat to its heritage. Our room had two doubles. A bit odd - but comfy. Towels are the size of hankies so next time I'll throw a couple of our own towels in. My boyfriend and I attended an army affair here today and I've got to say it is much nicer inside…read morethan outside. From the outside, I really wasn't expecting much but the inside is quite spacious and the decorations were beautiful. Paper snowflakes were all over the ceiling and a Christmas tree in every corner. From the stage there were a sea of tables and chairs and then a couple of long tables with food. It was a nice evening spent with great company and good food. I've been too multiple lodges and I think this one is pretty neat.
