Once you put down a…read moredeposit to bid and you talk with a rep, make sure you ask a lot of questions about fees, most of them don't make sense and the rep can't even explain them. They wanted to charge a finance charge when they weren't even financing? Can you explain that? The rep was nice, but it was basically like giving your phone number to a used car dealer. Constant text messages about vehicles I wasn't interested in, they are obviously under a lot of pressure to hit their sales quota's, and that pressure ends up on the customer. I just wanted to look for myself, honestly. Maybe I should have been so blunt as to just tell him to leave me alone. At the end of the day, if you're looking for a cheap car, the fees associated with Dashub will make the car not so cheap, and add about 1k on top of the sale price, not to mention you still have to go to the DMV after and pay more fees. Beware of Stoler Lexus's finance department. I submitted a formal written cancellation request over five months ago and provided official documentation showing my vehicle loan was paid in full. Since then, they have completely stonewalled me, ignored emails, and refused to issue my refund. Why the deliberate delay? Because processing cancellations forces their finance team to give back the unearned sales commissions they pocketed up front. They are actively stalling to protect their own commissions in blatant violation of New York Insurance Law. This isn't just poor customer service--it is a calculated, bad-faith attempt to keep money that does not belong to them. Formal complaints have now been filed with the NY Attorney General and financial regulatory agencies. Stay far away from their F&I department and decline every single add-on.
